Spaghetti Westurn was founded in 2021 in the city of Greenville, S.C.. The concept is the brainchild of Chef and Owner Jason Saunders, formerly of Jianna in Greenville and Wicked Weed Brewing and Table in Asheville, to name a few of the spots where he made his mark. Chef Saunders decided to open his own concept in 2020.

Spaghetti Westurn was conceived of as an eatery and oasis that prizes the beauty of quality, culinary simplicity and generous depths of service in an environment that is comfortable and welcoming for guests and employees alike. Delicious and unexpected treasure. I am definitely glad we made reservations, because it is a smaller restaurant. We asked for a Cesar Salad to share, and they kindly split it into two bowls for us. (EXCELLENT dressing! Fresh cracked peppercorn and shaved parmesan). We shared the tagliatelle with grilled chicken and it was enough for us. The grilled bread with Pesto is also worth the $6! We will go back.

Food is truly excellent. We loved the Fogota Ricotta, Rocky Mountain Cloisters, Hog Tie with meatballs and Lady of the Night. We had leftovers which made the meal a great value. Menu is small. Casual western ambiance is odd but cute. Don’t bother ordering wine. My pour seemed very small. Also don’t be concerned by the 8pm closing time. There were reservations available until 8, so we decided to take a chance but we did have second thoughts at first and almost didn’t go. Even still we never felt rushed to finish up and leave. I think the owners should consider another closing time posted online and on the door.

We were really looking forward to trying this place but ended up being disappointed. Pictures on website showed dishes with a bright red sauce but the two red dishes we tried (spaghetti & bolognese) ended up being a darker cooked sauce that was heavily spiced. I think the dishes were well executed for what they were, we just prefer a tomatoe-y red sauce and these had allspice-type flavors that we weren’t fans of.

If you live in the surrounding Greenville area and haven’t tried a Spaghetti Westurn please do yourself a favor and go. Moved to South Carolina 2 years ago and this is my new favorite.

The flavor profiles at Spaghetti Westurn are the work of a true genius. The Six-Beet Under salad legitimately took me to another place. Any item with buratta cheese will make you swoon. It’s been a true dining experience the two times that we have been thus far :-)

Food flavor wasn’t amazing it just tasted salty, but the presentation looked nice. The waitresses were very nice, the only issue we had was our appetizer being given to a different table and having to wait for another one to be made. It’s a very cute restaurant with a fun theme, just wished the food was up to par.

Delicious gnocchi and amazing bread. Friendly, attentive server. We brought our own wine and happily paid the $15 corkage fee. One of our favorite spots in Greenville.

We brought two other couples who had not yet experienced the restaurant. Everyone loved the food and the staff is always friendly and attentive. One of our favorite restaurants in the Greenville area.

Great food and the menu items were very interesting. I had a hard time deciding on what to order as most were not dishes I've had before at other places. Not a large menu, but I think that is better as it allows the chef to focus on preparing great food and probably keeps food waste down. Love that the pasta is made in house. I'll definitely go back to try the other dishes! The price was more than fair, and I felt that I got a great value for the money. Family of 5 in my party and all were delighted!

We went for the first time as it is hard to get in here…and we know why! We let the owner/chef Jason, suggest our order and we were glad we did! The ricotta fogata was so good we could have made that our main meal! Fluffy ricotta with pepper honey in the center and their delicious homemade bread and grilled grapes.. to die for. I will always remember my entree ,White Lightning. Home made pasta with the most delicate and delicious creamy sauce full of bacon bits and artichokes. I was glad our wonderful waitress suggested the grilled chicken on top. My companion’s choice was The Lady of the Night with shrimp and salmon on top of black snail shaped pasta in a light tomatoy sauce. Also an excellent choice. Fresh shaved Parmesan graced the tops of both entrees. Dessert was was a hard choice. Although the donuts were highly recommended we chose the Campfire Cake since it was chocolate., the perfect ending to one of the best meals ever in Greenville! A little bit of a drive but oh, so well worth it! Spaghetti Westurn is absolutely not to be missed! Go early!

The food at Spaghetti Westurn is always fantastic! I've never gone wrong on a dish! I'm glad Taylors has an upscale food yet casual dress restaurant so that I don't have to go all the way to Greenville or Spartanburg.

Excellent homemade pasta. Service was great. The prices are reasonable, however, once you add bread and salad (a la carte), dinner plates are $30 average per person. Still not too bad for a good meal. I had Pinot noir with dinner, a very nice wine, however, felt slighted on the small pour. (If it was more than 3 oz., I would be shocked). I would still recommend, however, buy a bottle of wine or wait till you leave to enjoy a glass.

I would definitely go back. The service was great and it was a different atmosphere. I like what they're doing here. I'm not a big pasta guy, so I couldn't give 5 stars, but my wife loved it. The food was well prepared, so this was just a personal preference.
