   Food was fantastic as always, service was horrendous, which is highly unusual. We have dined there many times over the years and have never had so many issues. Hostess was unfriendly and barely looked at us when we came in and didn’t say anything to us, someone else sat us and they were pleasant. Waitress was so confused and it was like she had hardly waited tables before. Took forever to get our drink order and our order for that matter. It is also normal to have bread before your meal and it not only took awhile but we were ignored for tables that came in after us. She was not even attentive, again giving attention to other tables like they were more important. She forgot to bring items that we had asked for, and spilled a little bit of water on my husband when grabbing a water pitcher behind him on the counter. The kicker was when we received the bill and she charged us for 3 salads and a soup when there were only 3 of us and ordered one salad and one soup. She seemed shocked and dismayed when we pointed this out to her. I surely hope not to have the same waitress in the future, I miss the attention we have had in the past, especially when spending $100’s on a meal. Thankfully the food was delicious and our guest was able to enjoy the food we had told her so much about. Definitely not a great impression to leave on someone who had never been there before, especially when we had raved about how impressive the place was.

   Spezia was a nice surprise. While there are several newer hotels within walking distance, we learned that Spezia has been in this location for 18 years. We found the steak and the Italian dishes to be very good to excellent. Our server was attentive and upbeat, and the ambience was fun, energetic, but comfortably luxurious. This is a great place for celebrations.

   We went to Spezia for a very early dinner (reservation 4:30) before a graduation ceremony at Baxter Arena. We chose it because of its proximity to Baxter and Spezia's reputation for being a nice dinner choice. Our service was adequate, but not attentive or above average. In regards to the food, skip the calamari. It was rubbery and for its price, very slim. It did, however, have many grilled, sliced frigitelli that did not suit our tastes. The Italian dishes ordered were prepared well. The Ribeye was not worth its price tag. It had a large ribbon of gristle and was not prepared to medium-rare as requested. Also, be aware, our son asked for asparagus instead of a potato with his steak and got 3 spears of asparagus. I recommend Spezia, but I would steer clear of the steaks.

   Very enjoyable experience. I read on your web site though that happy hour appetizers are 25% off but it didn’t reflect that in the happy hour menu. Does it come off your check at the end? Curious?

   This is one of the best value , friendlies experiences in Omaha. Food is delicious and is based on Italian Cuisine but certainly caters to Nebraska audience. We had a variety of options and nothing disappointed, from the excellent seafood stew and hunting ducklings to classic chicken parm. I would also say that the housestaff is much better trained than in other similar venues. The ambiance is great. Grazie mille!

   Great service. Ribeye steak was cooked perfect and great flavor in the parts that were edible, but had a significant amount of elastin (silver skin,gristle). Cioppino was delicious, with generous portions of fish/seafood. Service was excellent.

   All of the food was wonderful. The desserts were fantastic (banana foster cheesecake, lemoncello cake and chocolate mousse cake). Waitress was very attentive. Overall, a great time!

    It was our first time to Spezia's and we were there for my wife's 65th birthday. It definitely surpassed our expectations. The service (Frankie was outstanding), the food, and the atmosphere, were all fantastic and made the experience one to remember. We will definitely go back!

    Consistently one of the best restaurants in Omaha. All in my party were very pleased with their meal this visit. Service is always attentive, not overly so. The restaurant became crowded while we were there but not noisy. I feel the prices are reasonable for the quality provided. One of my favorites!

    I love dining at Speiza, have been here 3 times and every experience was perfect! I usually make reservations as it’s the best way to confirm a seating spot. Usually choose Spezia for special occasions! Love the food, the wood roasted shrimps and scallops along with the pasta was delicious. Will be back again soon!

    Celebrated my partner's 21st birthday and the waitress was very good with suggestions and overall service. Although we waiting quite a long time for our entrees, the manager was good to let us know why and when to expect it. Would go back again for the price as a college student was not as bad as some of these other "nicer" restaurants.

    This was our 2nd time here. First time, the food did not impress. We thought it could have been a bad night in the kitchen, so we tried again and unfortunately had the same experience. Steaks were not tenderized and had a lot of gristle, though they were cooked as ordered. Gravy on mashed potatoes was odd, not pleasant and baked potato was not cooked through. Would have preferred the oil & vinegar for bread was placed on the table as we were not asked our liking of those, server just poured and seasoned it on their own and left the plate - way too much vinegar, we didn't eat it. Besides that the service was stellar but the food was poor enough that we will go elsewhere.
