Excellent food in a clean, cozy atmosphere.Service was attentive but not intrusive.Overall great dining experience.
Lovely place, mediocre food. The ambiance is wonderful and we had a great waiter and the food was served quickly. Unfortunately the crispy cauliflower was not crispy, it was cold and soggy. Their dish is a knock-off of Gobi 65 which is a fantastic dish but their version was bland and tasteless, not to mention cold and soggy. The avocado raita was delicious but the mains were mediocre, not hot and certainly not modern or good. I had Chicken Korma which was very bitter for some unknown reason. The garlic naan was good - though the garlic on it was essentially raw so my dining companion couldn't eat it.
Such a nice restaurant, but the food is mediocre at best.
The waiters that we had (and we we had 3 different waiters) all sucked. One of them forgot our order even though he took it less than a min prior to coming back to ask us what we ordered. Another one was just really clumsy in the way he would respond to our questions; he was really lackluster and disengaged. And then the third, who we thought was the boss, was a combination of both those two waiters combined. Forgetful and lackluster.
Let me to the food. They didn’t have like half of the menu available and we were dining on a Wednesday night. Who runs out of chicken on a Wednesdays? We ultimately ordered the Tika Marsala & the pepper goat marsala. They didn’t even come out hot nor were they even flavorful.
Ambiance wise, they’ve gotta switch up the playlist or hire a damn DJ. The transitions from 70s pop to native music was so weird and random. AND the music should not have been that loud considering there were only like 3 dining parties in the entire room. Maybe the chefs were jamming in the background but the playlist sucked.
All in all, we won’t be returning. Save your coins and find another spot people.
Amazing food. Can’t wait to go again.
One of the few good options in Westfield town for authentic Indian cuisine. We tried the Sag Paneer, Dal Makhani and Crispy Gobi along with Tandoor Roti. Really liked the meal. Recommended for Indian cuisine if you are in the Westfield area.
They have the best indian food around with great service. Yes holding the reservation with a cc is annoying but I never skip a meal here!
Rude hostess sat in the back of the restaurant next to a supply station in a table too small to accommodate our party
Very good food but it is a very regular Indian restaurant. Nothing close to fine dining and holding $25 on credit card for table booking set wrong expectations. Of the 20 odd tables, only one other than us was occupied on the day.
I will go again but surely not to celebrate an occasion. They have no drinks, not even mock tails. Just good and well prepared food …offers nothing else
Some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Vijay, our server was wonderful and made perfect suggestions as to what we should order. Phenomenal meal!
Great food, service and suggestions. Try it!
The food is always amazing!
Great food and service but room design created loud atmosphere which was annoying. Fun for a younger crowd I suppose. Hostess and staff very welcoming. Will return as it is a delicious menu.
AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING. Fave dishes are Rogan Josh lamb⭐️⭐️ & traditional butter chicken⭐️⭐️
Food was delicious! Waitstaff was very helpful in helping us decide what to select. This place is BYOB which is always nice when you can have your favorite bottle of wine with incredible food. The garlic Nan is by far the best!!! I have been telling all my friends to go and experience this place. We will definitely be returning for another date night.
A fantastic restaurant - we are outside so I can’t comment on the interior of the restaurant but it did look very pretty. Food was very good.
Food and service was good, thanks to my sever who was very attentive. Next time I would like my food more spicy, please don’t be scarred kitchen team, I will be ok :). Hope to visit again and get a better table but I understand it’s not a big place. Design was nice.
Amazing food and customer service . It’s our first time here and we were very impressed how tasty each dish is !!
Fantastic! Hadn’t been there in almost two years (covid) but take out fairly often and my son turning 9 wanted to go for his birthday. Booked outdoor seating but it was unexpectedly cold (they said town has barred them from having heaters on the sidewalk). We were uncomfortable but they didn’t have anything available inside. The second someone cancelled and a table opened up they moved us right inside and gave us a piping hot dish of lentils on the house to warm us up. Owners are so nice and ours kids loved them too. Food is always excellent. Restaurant itself gorgeous. Service always right on.
The owner is the best. Slight concern at the door but he more than made up for it. That says a lot and goes a long way. He told me the food would be great and it did not disappoint. Great food, great service and great night. Can’t wait to go back!
Delicious food and great service. We wanted something that wasn't on the menu and they made it for us.
Wonderful experience and food, as usual. When the waiter forgot our appetizer but included it on the bill, the owner not only took the appetizer off the bill, but insisted on making the appetizer and having us take it home, without charge, of course. Total classy move, and I’m such a fan.
The waiter made us order everything in one go so we felt pressured to order quickly. And once the food came out it was VERY bland. We took most of it home and had to refresh it up ourselves. The tables were small and they served the food in very wide bowls that had very little quantity so it left us no room on the table
Our first time here and we’ll definitely be coming again! Great food, ambience, and waitstaff! Definitely a new go to!
Samosa is a must for everyone.Gobi was not cooked properly..
All the way around a fantastic experience. Service was great. The food was fabulous.
Definitely white washed Indian food.
I love this restaurant! The food is excellent and the staff is always accommodating and super sweet. Because of timing regulations the meal was a little rushed but all in all it was a great experience.
Excellent experience! Waiter was very accommodating with suggestions as we had never been out for Indian food before. The 3 course menu was a good value considering how much food we received.
We have been eating take out from spice bazaar over the past few months- always fantastic. This visit(Jan 14th 2021), we dined in. It was just as we remembered - fantastic food and service. Love this restaurant!
Delicious food, great service and fantastic vibe
Food was amazing as usual. Great experience!
Please not that we dined outside due to the capacity restrictions during Covid-19, so noise levels and ambiance are not true evaluations.
We were seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. From then on however, everything was fine. They have a good selection of traditional preparations but also some modern takes on several items. The goat cheese stuffed naan was delicious as were the cheese/jalapeno samosas. Lamb saag and goat masala both strong choices for main courses as well. Service during the meal was very good and attentive. Looking forward to our next meal there.
Food is delicious! The flavors are bold and layered perfectly. I will look forward to going back again soon!
Best Indian food in NJ. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend.
Food and atmosphere were great - the appetizers were the highlight of the meal!
Always a pleasure. Food was delicious. Service was great!
Really great to be able to get out if the house and enjoy the 'spice'. Samosas and crispy cauliflower are definitely the way to start.
