We are regulars and there is a reason for it. Outstanding food, excellent service, creativity! I had the swordfish special and it was amazing as was the house cured salmon advertiser!The pork chop entree was also quite excellent. The chef here knows what he's doing!

We enjoyed our experience in the restaurant. This was our second time dining in the restaurant. The food was well prepared and portions were plentiful. Wait staff very attentive. The mussels, heirloom salad, short ribs and pork chops were favorites and well worth the price. Definitely a go to place for special occasions'. We will be back even if not a special occasion.

Wonderful birthday dinner at St. Eve's. We hadn't been here for some time and were glad to find the food and service were still the best in Ho-Ho-Kus. We were there on a Wednesday night so not very busy. Comfortable seating and excellent service were our first impressions. The food was excellent and the menu had something for all tastes. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Hadn’t been there in years but was happy that we returned because it was quite good. Cozy , well designed and beautifully lit dining room, very professional but accessible staff, nice menu deliciously executed. Even the bread was good, lol. It is slightly overpriced but pretty much every place is now, and yet would happily return. There is parking in the back which is convenient too.

It was a quiet Friday when we went. Green curry mussel and tiny duck spring roll apps were delicious. My date loved her duck and my veal was different than I expected, it needed a little salt but otherwise good. All dishes were beautifully presented.

We have been here a few times previously and have always had an enjoyable experience. The food is as good or better than it's always been, and I believe the service has got even better. Like most other comparable restaurants, a (great) meal here is not inexpensive, but you certainly won't regret having a meal here.

What a great place for dinner! I went to a shower there and absolutely loved it! The food is amazing and since I have Celiac I was worried. My husband and I went to dinner last night our server made sure everything was perfect and that there was nothing that had gluten in it. The pork chop was amazing and the Salmon Caprese was delish! A Cappuccino was the perfect ending to this totally delicious dinner. This is now our new favorite place! We actually booked our daughter’s engagement party and shower there!! Steve the owner was so accommodating and willing to make changes if we wanted something different on the menu. One more thing is that it is BYOB and there is a liquor store next to the restaurant. Very convenient!

Celebrated our anniversary at St. Eve's and it was wonderful. I had the crabmeat timbale which is packed with lump crabmeat (no fillers) and then the steak frites - cooked perfectly to what I had requested. My husband had the beet salad. which was filled with beets, blueberries, orange slices - he devoured it. Then he had the Osso Bucco which was tender and flavorful. The wait staff is attentive but not obtrusive. Highly recommend!!

The food was excellent. Based on our server's recommendatins, one of us had the special - short ribs - and the other had the grilled pork chop from the menu. Both were fabulous. It was a Sunday night, so the restaurant was not that busy. The service is always friendly and professional.

Went to St. Eve's for an early dinner on Sunday. Charming little restaurant with attentive personal service. Bread included delicious slices of banana bread. Filet Mignon ravioli from the appetizers were great and the Short Rib special was amazing, tender and tears apart with just a fork.

We decided on this location on a whim and because our first choice had no open tables, and boy were we happy we ended up here. The food was excellent, the service superb. Even though there were many tables seated, it was not loud at all. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our dinner and our server was really great. Attention to detail, resupplying bread and clearing the table between courses were all outstanding. The mussels were amazing. We all enjoyed our dinner, the only complaint was that the duck breast was a little tough. Would definitely recommend.
