   I love the seafood chowder, but this time the recipe was changed. Some kind of green oily stuff was swirled on top of the chowder, making it heavier than it needed to be. It added no flavour, either. What was that all about?

   First time at SJG. Found the entrance to the dinning room a bit confusing but we were directed appropriately. Great server ( sorry forgot her name) , yummy seafood chowder, perfectly cooked crispy chicken sandwich that we were allowed to share at no extra cost. Very clean restrooms too! Prices are slightly higher than other local restaurants ( $75 with tip including two 5 Oz. glasses of wine) but it was a positive experience and we will be back.

    Great timely service. Staff assisted with picture taking and very complimentary. Food was very tasty and steak cook to perfection. Server Corey was delightful and very caring. This was our third time going to this restaurant and will no doubt make plans to return. Will strong recommend to friends and family.

    Had a fantastic meal! Our group had oysters and bread & butter as appys. Two had the steak special which was served on a bed of mashed and gravy, they both enjoyed it. The other two had the Cobb Salad special and the Kung Pao both were huge portions and delicious. The drink were varied, delicious and creative. Would dine here again!

    Very easy to book online, excellent service, great ambiance, beautiful setting and lovely view from our seat, delicious meal and good choices. Prices were average, background music was a bit loud but not too bad. It was our second time at this restaurant and it has become our favourite so far. Thank you 😊

    Exceeded our expectations. Pleasant and courteous service. Excellent food and presentation. The lime and sweet potato soup was a light and tasty appetizer. The seafood risotto and the sweet and spicy salmon were both excellent. Both dishes were nicely plated. The cheesecake deserts, both the peanut butter and the Creme brûlée, were delicious and again nicely plated. Well done!

    Great menu, and a great atmosphere! I have a gluten and dairy allergy and they were great to go accommodate me. I had the fish and chips it’s made from rice flour. It is cooked in the same deep fryer as other things. So if celiac you probably wouldn’t want to try. But I was very happy and will be back!

    Food was excellent, the portions were reasonable indicative of a fine dining restaurant. Unfortunately the dining room was full when there, so it was quite loud, making it hard to talk to the person with you. The staff were very accommodating despite being so busy. Overall it was a nice first time experience. Would you back again, but on a slower night.
