The food was delicious and the drinks were great. Our waitress was quick, polite and in tune with our needs. Overall I would recommend the restaurant and the app used to make my reservation.

It was very cold in the restaurant. Had to wear my jacket throughout the entire meal. Cold water to wash your hands in the washrooms also not great. Even after the server apparently turned on the heat. It is also too dark in the restaurant. Very annoying having to use the flashlight on my phone to see the menu.

The waiter was awesome. The dinner was leisurely and we did not feel rushed. Felt price high for appetizer for very small serving. My chicken dish (new on menu), was flavourful but far too salty. Too noisy to talk once live music started.

Excellent customer service and lovely hello atmosphere We stayed in the SJG hotel and it was very convenient and a great location with the restaurant on the bottom floor

Fish and chips needs to improve. Other menu items were really tasty. Music was way too loud to have a conversation but they did turn it down upon request. Great location and nice decor.

I hadn't been to this location since well before all the renos! It is beautiful. Congratulations. The food was delicious and presentation was great. Service was top drawer. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

The food was really outstanding. I have celiac disease and often find that gluten free options are often limited and bland but this was the best restaurant meal I have had in years. The service was perfect. The only complaint was the noise level, it is a big open room and was crowded, but overall 5 stars.

Great food really recommend the seafood risotto but anything listed as a SJG favourite you can't go wrong. Great atmosphere highly recommend prices very reasonable.

Love the bacon carbonara ...always get this when going. Service was awesome! Let us enjoy our appetizer before putting in our food order. On top getting your drinks. Was never dry lol

Our waitress was terrible, it was our granddaughters birthday and she forgot to bring her her meal and then said I'm sorry but u probably don't want it now, then giggled..we did not think it was funny and said well I won't charge u. My son ordered a second beer which did not come until our meal was done as well as same as my second glass of wine. I told her I was very unhappy about the service and all she did was say sorry and walked away. We have gone their several times and have bragged to our friends about how amazing it is, however, I won't be back for a very long time....

Lovely atmosphere and service was friendly and efficient. I had lobster papperadelle. Was ok for price but would definitely not order again. Cream sauce way too heavy and just a small amount of salty lobster. Could have also used some veggies. Other person with me had pork tenderloin. Flavour good but dry. Potential. I will try them again but didn't love this time

This is a quaint restaurant located in the heart of the city, that offers a variety of delicious cocktails and a diverse menu fitting for all tastes. We dined with a group of friends and it exceeded all our expectations.

Decent quality and portions. Not the largest but more than enough. They have an extensive beer collection but do not offer pitchers. Come on, this is what some people want. Give us a small savings and we will spend more. Servers were easy going and loved to make fun of us. Deservingly so. With an appetizer and meal for 2 and 4 drinks It was $130. More than I’d like to pay however didn’t feel like we were bent over and abused. All in all we would go back.

Very attentive and friendly service considering it was unexpectedly busy. Great tunes from an extraordinary seasoned award winning act. Wonderful way to have a reunion with friends and family! Highly recommend!

Terrible service, food only adequate. Incorrect charges on our bill - causing my credit card to be locked after too many attempts to pay the correct amount. Extremely poor service. Waitress basically ignored us after serving our meal. No follow up for drinks, no offer of a dessert menu after dinner, just wanted to bring us the bill. Won’t ever try this restaurant again. It’s certainly not ‘upscale’ in any way - no matter how they try to spin it. Upscale restaurants don’t treat patrons the way we were treated.

Reservation requested standard seating and was given high seats and then corrected. No mention that they were out of oysters until after I ordered them. Poor service for the price.

The server was very pleasant and quick. The food was delicious and well presented. We were there quite early, so we essentially had the whole place to ourselves. We were there to celebrate my son’s birthday and everyone left happy.

Great service, friendly staff, and amazing food!! We made a reservation and specified it was for a date and We were seated in a quiet room off to the side from the main area. I have celiac and the menu had lots of gluten free options including desert and they were very accommodating! We will be back for sure!

We arrived at 3:50 pm and the place was closed all up…not one light and no sign of anyone there…we found it strange so we went to St James Gate in Dieppe. We had a great meal there. Sorry we missed the chance to eat at the one on Church Street.We could not see any sign stating your hours of operation.

Horrible service. Left at the door for 10 minutes as servers walked by us. Did not stay long enough to eat, we were sat at the worst table they have in the place beside a table of 10 very very obnoxiously loud people when the restaurant only had one other table occupied.

Disappointed with menu changes. Too many fried items. Over all atmosphere is more of a pub or a rock bar than a restaurant. Very dark. Very noisy. Typical rock n roll music. No flexibility for seating, as we have to go by what the internet decides. Food came so quickly we did not have time to relax. Over all tone seems to target out-of-towners coming in for events and in a hurry. Appeals to the 20-40 age group who never take off their ball caps.
