Join us for a glass of whiskey and delicious food at the first-ever micro distillery inside of the Austin Business District! Standard Proof Whiskey Co's Austin tasting room, Located on Rainey Street, is set in a laid-back, lounge-style atmosphere where you can enjoy elevated cocktails, gastro pub style food, conversations with friends, or anything in between.

We distill premium infused rye whiskeys out of Tennessee and showcase them in our inventive specialty cocktail menu alongside classic whiskey cocktails, such as our Pecan Rye Old Fashioned. Our Whiskey is designed to be sipped neat or utilized in multi-step cocktails, so even if you aren't the biggest whiskey fan, you'll be one by the time you leave!

Join us for HAPPY HOUR Weds-Sun from 4-6pm where the whole menu is 1/2 OFF.

Loved it, its a small place and the staff stayed busy but that's ok. The whiskey was very interesting, we had some clear favorites. The innovative cocktails made with the in-house whiskey were great. We enjoyed the food too. What was super terrific was the extra mile our waitress went to get my son's GF a vegetable patty that wasn't really on the menu. She keeps vegetarian and the menu could use a little more of that.

Awesome cocktails here on Rainey Street! I had 3!!!! Brad’s drinking Cherry Cherry Bang Bang and I am having Makin’ Love at Midnight, then I had Espresso’ Self and I Apri-Can’t Even. Service was excellent! We sat at the bar and the girls serving us were awesome!

Smaller menu but super good! I got the Nashville chicken sandwich super yummy and Juicey and the guys got the brisket sandwich that they loved as well! Friendly staff! And the drinks were amazing, All fresh ingredients! We will definitely be going back!

I am not a whiskey drinker and the infusions made it tolerable for me. Cocktails were good, burger was great quality beef. I would go back.
