    If you like your meals lukewarm and undercooked salmon in the salmon bowl than this is the place for you. Service was poor, our waitress did not bring the coffee that had been ordered, nor did she explain that when you order the salmon bowl the salmon is served lightly cooked if at all. The restaurant is never very busy and the reason could be that the food is only average.

    We had been here before and enjoyed the food and live music. This visit, however, had music blaring on the other side of the bar that made it difficult to have a conversation. The meals were good- chefs special was bland, and the meat on the nachos was forgotten, but everyone else's meals were good. Menu had a large Asian influence. Next time we make a reservation, I plan to ask if there will be loud events booked. If so, we will go elsewhere.

    Came here for a work lunch. Online reservation worked perfectly. Staff greeted and seated promptly. Lunch specials are an unbelievably good value! Excellent family restaurant and will be coming back!

    Place was dead but was there for a date. Serving staff was inexperienced and could not describe the dishes we were interested in. Food was average. Basically rushed us out because they wanted to close early due to no business. Not cool.

    The service was very poor. It took the server around 20 minutes just get our drinks. The dinner took around 45 for just one item. We ordered the party platter and the chicken wings were tasting stale, no one had them Not coming back here, once and done

    The quality of the ribeye steak was poor and not cooked medium rare as ordered both times (once it was well done and second time was still medium well). The seafood parpdelle pasta arrived pretty cold, undercooked, not even ‘al dente’. The Korean bao bun was WAY too salty and did NOT taste Korean at all. Tuna poke bowl was mediocre and not fresh. The burger was just ok. The tofu taco was apparently good. It was a nuisance that someone couldn’t put on the oilers hockey game to the correct channel insisting that we had to wait when the score had gone to 2:1….. the live music was nice because the last had a great reptoire of songs. The atmosphere was nice. The 9 of us agreed that while it was a nice place to hang out, the food was bad enough that we wouldn’t be returning.

    Short list of draft beers, both were flat. Food was way overpriced for quality. Sushi was drowned in spicy mayo sauce. Side order of fries was a very small plate. Penne pasta serving was small also. Only good thing we ordered was a basic burger. Huge patty. I feel like this place is about to go under. For the money and ambiance, I’ll go to earl’s.

    Took an hour and a half to get our food and another 45 minutes to get our bill. Plates weren’t clean off fast at all and was never asked for more drinks during our meal. Will not be returning.

    Worst service ever very disappointing. This was a dinner for my daughter who is getting married. Bachelorette. The lady didn’t even ask if we wanted any more water let alone drinks or food. We had to flag her down and ask for anything else we need. And to top it all off since there were 12 of us we we forced to pay an automatic gratuity of 18% which I am sorry but she didn’t deserve. I feel really awful writing this as I never do Reviews but honestly I have never been so disappointed for such a special event. We will never go back. Sad really cause I did like my dinner once it finally came.

    Went for the brunch buffet. The table was scratched, no table linens and cutlery was at the buffet table. The selection was small, only a couple brunch items, samosas, sliders, potato wedges. The bacon was raw and the food looked unappetizing so we left. The waitress was very nice and efficient. We felt bad for her but there was no way we were eating there!

    Great spot for a date night out. Delicious food, nice ambience, and excellent drinks. The only thing to note was it didn’t seem to have the live entertainment like it listed on the website on Saturday evening. However maybe we were there too early? Would definitely return.

    Our table tried four different dishes (meatloaf, steak, tuna poke, and Grilled Caesar salad) and each one of them were lacklustre and bland. The best out of all of them was the Caesar salad, and that is not saying much.

    Atmosphere was welcoming and warm. The room was not too dark and not too bright so just right. Would have been nice to know there was an event going on which was a little loud as we had no idea it was going on. Definitely enjoyed the evening and the party platter or appetizer platter was do good. Our server last night was great as well

    Excellent service, we asked for quiet spot and received one. Food was good, 2 appetizers were outstanding. Mains were good, but nothing to write home about. Price, well, still trying to adjust to the new prices post COVID. 16 to 22 for an appetizer seems a bit much, drinks were quite pricey as well (starting at 12 for most drinks). Mains were about the same price as appetizers, which seemed odd.

    Whatever sauce was added to the tuna poke tasted like a spicy Korean sauce. It didn't blend well with the fresh ingredients of the poke bowl. My partner asked for medium rare steak but a medium well was brought instead. It was still very delicious though! We ended the night with a dulce de Leche puff pastry. The pastry was hard to cut and the filling tasted frozen. The server took it off the bill. The washrooms werent clean either even though the restaurant was very quiet. Stanhope is a esthetically pleasing to the eye but the dining experience wasn't amazing.

    We found the dinner menu choices somewhat different and not much to our liking. Ordered chicken sliders, thinking there would be 3 or 4 slider buns. Thank goodness the waiter told us it was just one big chicken burger, which we tried. It was just ok, but the fries were good. Chicken curry was mostly rice and a few small chunks of chicken. It as well was just ok. Service was good. I doubt we will return,

    Poor food for buffet and not many choice. Our waitress was very helpful however, the food was not enjoyable at all. Roast Beef seems like it was cooked the day before and was a leftover that was reheated. It was extremely overcooked. Vegetables were soggy soft and also overcooked. The French Toast, some slices were undercooked. The best was the ribs...unfortunately a enjoyable brunch is not only ribs. Wouldn't go back for Sunday brunch. Spend your money and find a hotel in the area that serves buffet.

    The menu has changed. Our table ordered the prime rib patty, hearty salad with grilled tofu, penne arrabbiata, and tune poke bowl. All enjoyed!

    Half the people in the restaurant couldn’t see the show that they bought tickets for, so that was pretty disappointing. It is probably a fine, regular old run-of-the-mill restaurant/bar on a regular evening if you’re not looking for anything special or creative, but it is a terrible venue for a show. It’s kind of a rip off to charge people for a show that you know they aren’t going to be able to see from their tables.

    Great patio, friendly greeting, given the table we requested away from other guests as we are Covid sensitive. Server was sweet & smiling but we mentioned the sun was on 1 guest & we didn’t want to ruin or break the umbrella but it was clearly adjustable, after many hints, 2 visits to our table for drink orders & us finally asking outright if she could bring someone to adjust it she took a look & tried. Also, 3 Guests & 2 Menus makes it difficult for 3 people to order, had to request another menu after a few visits to our table. For dessert, I would’ve also preferred my coffee with my dessert, the coffee also had to be requested again after we recieved dessert. She did apologize & admitted she forgot. It would’ve been nice to be advised it would be a few minutes still. She did brew a fresh pot & the coffee was really good. I’m unsure if she was maybe new and needed training and a notepad, or we were told there was a Special Event inside, so perhaps it was a one off and busy, she still did check on us a few times otherwise. Everyone at the restaurant was always smiling and acknowledged as passed by, which was nice. Everyone in our party really enjoyed our meals fresh and hot, the server suggested a lovely Berry Mocktail Mojito, dinner portions were a fair size, and the Chocolate Cake did not disappoint! Overall, we all agreed we would eat here again, truthfully, the slipups were just things that could improve the service in the future & not a huge deal. I would recommend this restaurant.

    Wow! Went to Stanhope for a date night dinner and will definitely be back. The happy hour prices are great and the food was incredible. We started with scallops and then tried the lamb and mushroom risotto. Everything was amazing and the service was just as great
