   Food was outstanding as usual. Waitress was obviously harassed and overwhelmed. Had to ask another waitress for a drink, would have had more if ours had ever slaked. two things she went to query she didn’t return with an answer. Would take half an order then run off. Plates were not cleared. Silverware not replaced between courses. Very disappointing as it wasn’t really very busy.

   Food portions smaller than usual. My husband's eggs benny with bacon had almost no bacon at all. Advert on the table for $8 mom-mosas, ordered two then went to order two more and were then told "oh the $8 mimosas are tomorrow only" nowhere did it say that on the advert and it was on our table so it felt like false advertising. Food delicious as always.

    Beautiful dining space, excellent service, lots of choices, but I found the food portions to be quite surprisingly small for the cost and kind of underwhelming flavour wise as well. My husband and I are not picky, but I genuinely expected more after hearing of others’ experiences. Portions are a lot smaller than what I could make at home and lacking flavour too outside of the crust of our proteins. But, the ambience was fantastic, as was the service. And the dessert was worthwhile.

    This is a lovely restaurant and the food and drinks were delicious. Unfortunately our service was extremely poor. We noticed our server did not write our food or drink orders down. Both our food and drink orders came out wrong. The lady who served us was not able to provide the sort of service you would expect at a restaurant like this one. For the price of the food and drinks at this place it would have been nice if we at least had proper service.

    It was a disappointment. The waitress tried her best, but the service was slow, there was a bug in my friends Caesar and the food took a really long time. I had heard really great things and was disappointed that it wasn’t anything spectacular.

    The front-end service was very good, our server was not attentive or fast. The food was average at best. We had three items. The beet salad, baked brie and short rib with mushroom rice. This was my second time to this restaurant; it was not great. I don't think I would go back.

    Always top knotch service from management and service staff - greeted by Brendan when we arrived, then had the pleasure of being served by Leanne, who provided great recommendations, honest and accurate! Beef Tartare and Baked Brie were table faves, as well as the Mushroom Risotto. Cocktails were also on point, fun and tasty! Looking forward to the next visit 👌

    I e been to this restaurant several times with positive experiences. Sadly the experience this time was so disappointing. My daughter clearly shared her allergy with our server and despite that was exposed to her allergen. The server was remorseful but should have had the Manager speak to us and seek to help. Don't trust this crew with your health as they aren't respectful enough of the consequence. Please train your team better as this is life threatening

    Our appetizers were amazing, really good steak tar tar and the pork belly that was tender. My husbands steak came to the table raw and he loves medium rare to rare so it was raw, they took it back and finished cooking it. Steak was really good after that and they even discounted it by 50% for the wait. I had the beet salad, way too much arugula it needed another blend of lettuce to go with it even though I love arugula, also it was a little wilted like it may have sat near heat lamp and the shrimp in it were lukewarm. Service was fantastic as always. Think they could benefit by having a special of the day or a few new items in the mains/entrees, it has been the same for a while need a refresh.

    This is one of my favourite restaurants in the south. Service has always been amazing and I’ve always been happy with the food. However, I was underwhelmed by the brunch menu during my visit yesterday. I asked for a lunch menu but was informed that the full menu was not offered till 2 PM on Saturdays. My chicken and waffle was just ok. I didn’t mind the disappointment with the food as the service was incredible. I’ll probably not come back for lunch on the weekend but will definitely visit again for dinner.

    Although the vegetarian options were few, the one I choose, gnocchi, tasted great! My non-vegetarian friends were also happy with their choices, the prawn and beet salad, and the chicken burger. Staff were very friendly.

    Didn’t enjoy our dinner experience here. There was a group of 6 and not one person enjoyed their entrees. The pork chops were over cooked and dry, the cod was tasteless and the pasta dish we had was mediocre. In our opinion the prices of Starbelly do not reflect the quality of the food.

    The service and food were very good. The restaurant is open and welcoming. It has a nice, friendly atmosphere but with the openness there is a moderate amount of noise. After our first visit, I can say we will definitely be going back!

    Brunch menu is quite limited. The Cilbir is delicious. Also there is no meat alternative to pork. Would appreciate a turkey or chicken or veggie sausage option.
