We were a party of 6. We as one other couple have been 2 other times. The other couple was their first time. The food never disappoints as does the service. Our server was very attentive and sweet. We all had something different on the menu and so enjoyed our meals very much. We were celebrating a birthday and brought in a cake. We love the ambiance of the restaurant. Overall a great time was had by all.😊 Marg.

I’ve eaten at other State & Main locations & I love their menu. I usually order the same thing(Pacific Noodle Bowl). Love the flavours. But I thought it didn’t look as neat? as the other locations….it’s hard to describe. It tasted good but ?? The other locations that I eat at looked more updated & modern. Maybe Oakville could use a makeover. All in all it was good & I highly recommend State & Main.

First visit to State & Main and the food and value for money was excellent, just a pity our server was not of the same standard. We waited around 10 mins after being seated for our server for the evening to arrive and when she did she seemed like she didn’t want o be there, although this was disappointing we all have bad days however as the food was so good we will definitely be back and hopefully next time we will have a better experience with our server for the evening

Service was very slow. I don’t think it was our wait staff’s fault. Not enough help in the kitchen? Or not enough brought in for the night we were there. The appetizers were very good. I like how there are many side options are made available. Restaurant is very loud, but that could the diners who were there that night. But not a romantic, quiet place to choose, depending on the occasion. Overall, we had a good meal.

Service was excellent and once we had asked the noise level was turned down. The food was very good especially the bang bang shrimp and honey chicken. The bowl and sprouts were tasty but a bit too spicy. A great place we will be back

I booked a reservation on a Friday evening, but the restaurant was not busy at all - thus walk-in would have been fine. Despite being empty, our service was very slow, and we waited a long time for our food. I ordered the Spanako Flatbread, and it was very overdone and crispy. I found it hard to eat, and lost the taste of the other ingredients to the burnt flatbread. We sat on the Patio, and the ambiance was lovely. However, it was quite loud after 8pm with motorists revving their engines at the adjacent intersection. I would consider requesting an inside table next time. Overall, I am glad I tried this restaurant as I have been curious about it for a while. However, I would order something different and would inquire more as to why our order was taking as long next time compared to the lack of client volume. I would consider coming back again in the future, but will try another restaurant next.
