   Was the first restaurant we visited after a long day of travel. First server seemed put out when I requested a paper menu for my 77 year old mother. Never saw the server again. After 15 minutes of waiting for her to return m, I finally asked the host about. The second server was apologetic and excellent. As for the food, my mom loved her fish and chips but there was not a single lump of lobster in the lobster bisque. So overall kinda mixed experience.

   Decent setting and food was pretty good. The clam chowder was the best thing we had. We went on a Saturday around 8:30p and sat in dining room. Overall, it’s ok if you are staying in the area and need something convenient. Otherwise, for similar offerings at comparable price points, there are MANY better places to dine.

   Always a good time and great food! Seafood was great, oysters were perfect, some would say small but I love them that way. The bisque was great, good chowder. The service was good, drinks took a whole furring the rush but that’s expected.

    It was just ok. It took forever for someone to visit our table after we were seated. My husband ordered the blueberry pancakes, they were decent. My mother ordered the avocado toast, also decent. I ordered the yogurt parfait which would have been excellent except the bowl was 75% chia seeds. Literally. It was almost comical. The saving grace was the kids pizza my daughter ordered. It was SO good & the portion was much larger than expected. My mother & I agreed — we wished we would have just split it with my daughter. The pizza takes it from “fair” to “good”.

    Portions were great! The cod was amazing so light and melt in your mouth. Fish and chips was excellent good light batter not greasy great tartar sauce. Serve carlo was fantastic

    Went for brunch and was disappointed with the food quality. We had the three egg omelet with seasonal vegetables and the blueberry pancakes. The omelets had too much cheese, oily and only had chopped up yellow peppers and onions for vegetables. The blueberry pancakes had blueberries in them but also came smothered with about a cup of blueberry compote. Breakfast fare shouldn’t be hard to master.

    Good solid affordable option in Long Wharf area. Great setting. Nice historic decor. Great beer selection. Friendly staff. Menu is varied and lots of choices. The meal was a little underwhelming this time. Oysters were small and thin. Pizza was good but did not look appealing. Crap dip just ok.

    Great food and amazing service. We were here during restaurant week so my husband got the Oysters Rockafella, Duck Confit and the Bread Pudding dessert. I got the Korean bbq wings, crab dip, and steak frites. The best thing was the Korean bbq wings, duck was really good and the oyster rockafella. My steak was somewhat chewy but had great flavor and the fries and watercress salad it came with were wonderful. The most amazing thing was the service, we put down that we were celebrating an anniversary and everyone there wished us Happy Anniversary. Service was attentive but not overbearing.     Went for the $1 oyster deal, why’d was very good. Tasty sauces and presented nicely. Service was lack luster. Yes I got more food than just the oysters. A starter, entree, and wine. After we got the bill, I was ready to pay but the server was gone for a while when I was ready to pay up and leave.

    The staff was wonderful. The restaurant is clean with a nice vibe, just what we were looking for on a cold evening. The downside is the food - the clam chowder is thin. It may be their take on it and maybe just wasn't for us - we were looking for a more traditional, thicker chowder. The fish in the fish 'n chips was dry and one tasted like the batter inside wasn't quite cooked. The brussel sprouts were good as was the wine.

    Really good food and fun energy. Our server, Jeff, was outstanding. My husband and I have both worked in food service for years so we truly appreciate a server that is attentive without being intrusive. Jeff expertly read our desire to enjoy our delicious oyster appetizer before ordering our entrees. He was friendly and fun (as was the hostess) without being too familiar. I sincerely believe this is an underrated art form that really elevates a dining experience.

    I had very bad service here. I was switched from a great server to a neglectful server who was on his phone in the middle of our meal. I felt neglected by the service as the server didn’t check in on us, and the table next to me arrived after, received their food before me and my fiance, and they even finished their meal before we received our meal, all without any communication from our waiter. Not to mention, they sat me and my fiancé very close to a very loud table with not much room when the restaurant had plenty of space. I won’t be going back any time soon.

    Somewhat of a pub feel, great for all ages, I went with 8 friends. They also gave us 2 complimentary slices of cheesecake for our birthday girls! Valet parking at the Marriott Long Wharf for 20 dollars for up to 3 hours. This was a huge convenient plus! Our server was great!

    This experience exceeded our expectations! Alliteration at its best but that’s how I roll on this one! Needed a brunch spot down town with varied menu to meet friends last minute on a Sunday for Brunch and this joint for the bill. I read many reviews and they were mixed. I was taking the chance fortified with good info from fellow reviewers. It was a big place with lots of families and couples but wasn’t loud or out of control. Staffed well and we were seated immediately even though our whole party wasn’t there yet. Big menu with something for everyone. Good Bar program. Our Server was friendly and helpful. Food was good and they accommodated all sorts of special requests with no issues. The Apple pie French Toast was very yummy but the Blueberry Pancakes were equally good if not a bit better! I’m not usually one for fruit in sauce on top but these were fluffy and crispy! Sweet, salty, buttery, fruity, yummm! Really good. Everyone’s eggs were cooked correctly and the hash was legit. All in all we were taken care of and not rushed. Ate well and didn’t spend a fortune even with a couple of cocktails each. Will recommend for breakfast as well as oysters and lobster rolls or Fish&Chips which looked delish!! FYI if you park at the Marriott across the way the restaurant validates the Parking Ticket. 👍🏼

    We were coming from the Aquarium with 2 kids 6 and 8, their parents and us, older cousins in their 70’s. Our table was ready and really comfortable. The server was fast and friendly. The food was a couple steps up from the normal tourist family fair (we were in the heart of Boston tourist zone) and, without qualification, was quite good. Not fine dining but a great place that had food for every age and palate, and was also fairly priced. With quick and attentive and very friendly service. Recommend.

    The staff was extremely accommodating to our young family. The kids pizza was enough for two, and they have delicious fresh cut fries. The clam chowder was also delicious and beautifully plated.
