Kitchen was very backed up. Our server was as helpful as possible, bringing us a plate of steak(ish) fries and offering my husband a free beer in an attempt to placate. The food was unremarkable for the wait. All day, We were disappointed we had eaten there. First and last time.

The service at The Station was very attentive however that's where the pleasant dining experience ended. While there were just a few parties on the patio section one was extremely loud and vulgar yet they were allowed to persist. Eventually the manager apologized after the party left. We had the rib eye and while the price was attractive the poor cow was not. The meat was tough and the asparagus was over cooked. Our advice would be to lose the rib eye and focus on burgers and train the staff on how to deal with rowdy patrons.

I’ve been here multiple times and the food is really good but the service couldn’t be worse. I’ve had a waitress clearly on pills and one waiter that forgot we were there.

Quality of food was good. Service was a little rough. We didn't realize that their was a drinks menu because our server didn't ensure that we got one. He seemed entirely uninterested in our being there--not rude, just not engaged. The GM came by and brought us a drink on the house, which was nice. We'll be back.

Server misgendered my daughter, steak and frites was the worst steak I've ever had. Full of fat and nerves, and the meat was not tender or flavorful. Let them know the steak was terrible and didn't even remove it from the check.

The service is great. Food is great. Why in the world do they turn the lights all the way down to black around 7 PM? It makes it feel so dark and dank inside. It’s a great space— leave the lights on or just dim them! I had to turn on my phone flashlight to get to the bathroom and it was still daylight.

Every time I go here I get the steak frites it’s $20 bucks for a ribeye and fry great value. Fries are always cold but I eat them because it’s a good value. The service is so bad if the steak wasn’t such a good value probably wouldn’t keep coming back but I do. It’s better than most the service is just bad.

Service was slow, but it looked like they may have been stretched thin. Burgers were good and beer was cold. I asked for mayo for my burger and they brought out Hellmans….come on…we are in the South. Dukes please!

This is one of a few places in Raleigh that takes large reservations. We had 10 people. 3 of our friends didn’t get their meals until 30-40 min after the rest of us got ours. The place wasn’t that busy but it seemed like they struggled to handle a larger party. Drink were great but when we ordered a second round, the bartenders were too busy talking to start on our drinks so it was quite some time before we got the second round. Servers was nice, food was decent and drinks were good but overall experience was mediocre.

We had a great meal (8 of us) but the two fans near us were broken and made our table terribly hot and ridden with flies. It seems that adding more fans would be a simple solution for these hot summer nights. Otherwise, it was a nice evening with great food and music.

This was our first visit to Station At Person Street. When we arrived there was a sign outside that said please wait for the hostess to seat you, but there wasn't one around. So we went inside and kept easing in until the wait staff finally saw us and told us to sit any where. We found a table and sat down. There were three waitresses talking by the bar (the same ones who told us to sit anywhere), but they continued to talk to each other. The supervisor walked past us and saw we had no drinks or menu's and told them to go help us. One of the waitresses brought our menus and took our drink order. Prior to coming here I looked at the menu posted on Open Table, it listed 2 things that looked good me; spinach/artichoke dip and a Cuban sandwich. Neither one of this things were on the menu. But there were other choices. I ordered a fish sandwich and my wife ordered a the BLT salad with chicken. The fish sandwich was HUGE, tender and good. I actually cut the fish in half so I could eat it. My wife was very happy with her salad. Station started off a little slow but but once our waitress brought us our menus she did fine and they finished off with a bang. Check them out the setting in the old gas station was pretty unique.

I loved the food and the atmosphere. The chicken and waffles were incredible. Cleaned my plate. The Thunderbird was a fantastic drink. Parking is tricky. Give yourself extra time if you decide to drive. I'll definitley return.

We had a large party so I made a reservation, but was informed by a server when we got there that they do not take reservations. Tables were seat yourself and we were able to find one that accommodated our party size but we were confused why they’re listed on open table if they don’t honor the reservations made on this site.

We went to the Station for lunch. I ordered the Cuban & my husband ordered the sloppy joe with pimento cheese. The food was average. It was not a spectacular meal. The ham on the Cuban had gristle & the sandwich lacked flavor. My husbands sloppy joe was good just not a wow! Great location with a bar atmosphere.

Wonderful service in a fun place. Cocktails were great, as were the burger special and chicken sandwich. Beet salad was good, but a bit sweet. Chips and sandwiches could have done with a little more salt. Our waitress (Anna Clare) was great - attentive, friendly, and made some nice food and local recommendations.
