   Food was great, staff was great, and the venue was fantastic as usual. The only constructive criticism I want to offer is that some of the chairs sit extremely low to the table such that you feel like you need to be sitting on a booster. Couple that with the fact that some of the smoked entrées come in bowls with very high walls and you find yourself having to stand up to get the right angle for your fork to grab the food. I quite literally had to end up sitting on a pillow in order to eat comfortably.

   This is an historic venue that is so unique you gotta try it! The hotel lobby is a destination in itself. The food is extremely well prepared and seems to be a gourmet offering of southern favorites. We really enjoyed our evening which was a birthday celebration for a friend.

    sorry but very disappointing. the staff were nice, but our server very slow. was not familiar with menu. We ordered five starters and four were very mediocre. lettuce in salad brown edged and covered in black pepper. Cheese plate had store bought crackers, bread service was deep fried dough, yuck. I had high expectations, it sounded like a cool place-- but the food isn't worth it. It was a bad sign that we were the only ones in the dining room.

    Had an amazing birthday brunch for my wife at Stationary. The menu has changed and I was a little disappointed that the Breakfast sandwich is no longer on the menu. However the Biscuits were fabulous. The bacon was burnt, but nothing that was not manageable. The highlight of our breakfast was the amazing service rendered by Jessica. She is one of the top Servers in the country! If you are looking for a place to get high quality cuisine, stellar obience and five star service then Stationary is the place to be.

    Appetizers were great. My trout was good. But the chicken and pork dishes were overcooked and lacked any freshness. We were without water quite a lot during the meal. Our server was either new or tired

    May 1st. 12 Noon Reservation. Sister visiting from California for the first time! I personally love this place & wanted her to see it! We had Elsa as our waitress & I have had her before & she is a delight every time! Food was very good- only negative was fries were too salty Otherwise it was a perfect wonderful experience!

    The dining room is located in the enclosed former main entry porte cochere for the building and is a fabulous space with a high coffered ceiling and ornately carved stone arches. Seating however is difficult. While a few tables are "normal" dining several are more suited for cocktails. Small table tops mounted on an industrial cast iron tripod with a crank mounted under to adjust the height of the table. The chairs are large, low and difficult to move combined with the obstructing base makes dining a tortured experience. Request a traditional table. The food is ok, nothing to get excited about and our server seemed less than interested in being such.

    Do not waste your time or money eating at the Stationairy. When our waiter approached our table after examining the menu, we were asked “what do you all want to eat tonight”? We had not ordered any drinks or appetizers at that point. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and meals at the beginning of the dinner. We waited 15 minutes for drinks, which was looked past in my head. Our meals came out way before our appetizers. Our waiter was the opposite of attentive. When it was time for dessert, we received no utensils. There were several other minor inconveniences, but I will go ahead and skip to the most aggravating part, when I received my check. With our waiter lingering close behind my shoulder, I filled out the sheet adding 20% gratuity because I am kind. After setting down the pen and paper our waiter walked up and grabbed the sheet. He turned his back to the table and read the sheet and said Thankyou. The proper way to close a table is to hand the check and walk away. No questions asked. I am not one to write lengthy, angry reviews, but this is appalling. Once again, do not go to the Stationairy.

    Very rushed. Waiter asked for our drink, app and entree choices all at once. For a restaurant with pricey items in a beautiful space, that started in a bad note. THEN we received our cocktails followed by cheeseboard and imagine my surprise when our entrees arrived halfway thru our appetizer! They didn’t care one bit. The plates are so big they didn’t fit on our bistro sized table so my daughter had to put her entree on the next table over. How terrible. Several minutes later, the waiter came back and asked how our entrees were- to which I replied- no idea yet, still working on the cheeseboard. Again, no acknowledgment that the entrees came out too quickly. Finally we began our entrees and they were very tasteless. For two entrees totaling $80, not a great value. Happy to pay for good food and good service but this delivered neither. Would never go back.

    Amazing food and waitress- the only “complaint” I have is that we felt rushed. We went for our brunch reservation at 1:30. Brunch service closes at 2. We were celebrating a birthday and all of our apps, entrees and dessert came at the same time. If they stop service at 2 pm they should not accept 1:30 reservations. Like is said everything else was great- but you could definitely tell that they were rushing us out and didn’t make for the greatest experience.

    Beautiful building and design. Very nice menu with interesting items. Food was good but did not meet expectations based on the prices. Service was slow and not very good overall. Server did not know the menu very well at all and had a hard time describing dishes, answering questions, etc.

    The appetizers were good but the entree’s were disappointing. My short ribs were so fatty they were inedible and served on a cutting board so the food wound up on the table. Service was attentive and the live music was lovely. Too many other options in Nashville, won’t be back.

    Very delicious cocktails and dishes! Had the 75 Dream cocktail - delicious. We ordered a bunch of shared plates which were all yummy - meatballs, cheese plate, carpaccio, gem salad, Brussel sprouts. Also had trout and filet mignon for entrees, all very delicious. The environment is great too! In the mail hallway there was a singer as we left, great spot!

    First time at Stationary and it was really nice, loved the beautiful architecture, the ambiance, the live music and the food! Drinks and appetizers were yummy. Happily surprised by the big portions in the main courses. Loved being able to look outside. Free Valet Parking is a plus! We will be back for sure to try the brunch!
