    We had a fantastic time - we had the semi-private room for a casual get together with friends and their children, and it worked out great. Staff was super attentive and juggled the multiple families with ease, food was great, and the beer as always was excellent. Thank you for making our special celebration so wonderful!

    We had a nice quiet catch-up with friends. The beer supply is limited, as expected, but was nice and cold. Not sure why they didn't have Beau's Lug Tread in tap, only the light, which was very good. We had a pretzel, excellent; hummus, very good. I had a burger as my main and it was just okay - I found the meat very salty and too much bun. The fries were good. Overall it was a wonderful evening to get caught up. The place is a little out of the way, especially having to walk in the brisk cold air.

    Really enjoyed our night - over from UK and first meal in Toronto - had seen online and a friend recommended. Great beers, great food and great service - staff attentive and friendly - my wife had the bratwurst, I had the special bratwurst - would recommend

    Felt very rushed by our server. Wasn’t offered second round of drinks. It wasn’t busy and no lineup to get in so not sure why. Food selection is basic and not many offerings if you suffer from allergies.

    You can’t miss with steam whistle… the Oktoberfest pretzels and sausage’s are always amazing, and obviously the beer is outstanding. I’ve been here 100 times, always a great choice

    Visiting Toronto with my 11yo son. We could see this restaurant from our hotel window so decided to give it a try for a quick dinner. It was perfect! Great staff, great setting, great food & drink! The ‘fish’ of fish & chips was HUGE! And the Roundhouse Burger now ranks as one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! And how ironic to have Alabama white BBQ sauce on a burger in Toronto…especially since I’m from/grew up in AL! Highly recommend!

    Many menu items were unavailable because they were transitioning out….. whatever that means. The alternatives were very disappointing. Fish and chips was not bad although the chips were cold and oil from the chips leaked onto the chips. The shredded chicken in the salad was dry and tasteless. The shawarma salad was okay as was the ganouche. Worst of all was the waitress. She was very loud and peeved with us because she kept coming over to ask us if we were happy and we were all stunned into silence. Before she got an answer she said “great” and flounced away. I was very disappointed and embarrassed because it was a family reunion.

    The food was great, the washrooms were not. Both the men's and women's smelled very bad and were dirty, certainly not something we expected when the restaurant itself was great!

    We reserved a spot for 515pm. Got there well in advance, but the check in was very unorganized, but only because one staff was trying to do too many things. Once we got in, it was awesome. Service was great, food was outstanding and nice atmosphere for a busy downtown spot. Would go again. Cheers

    We were a large group (12) with a mix of adults and teenagers. The service was very good and our servers made sure that all our needs were met. We were not rushed and our food arrived for all of us at virtually the same time. We probably ordered 8 or 9 different entrees and everyone remarked that they were tasty! Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Great house beers as well!!

    The service was horrible! We ordered drinks and one was wrong. Asked for some lemon for my water and it never came. Then we ordered 3 entrées and an appetizer, 2 entrées were served 5 minutes later the 2nd entrée came out with the appetizer. I asked for some salt as it it not on the table, it came in a loose in a little cup. I am capable of adding salt from a cup however quite unhygienic. Disappointment is an understatement.

    Last night my friends and I grabbed an early dinner before attending the PINK concert at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. Our dining experience was wonderful. The food, service, ambiance, and atmosphere was great. We had a reservation…upon arriving; we were seated at our table immediately ; we were able to enjoy a leisurely meal; pay our tab and with ample time to spare to make our way across the street for the concert. We could not have had a better experience!! I highly recommend The Steam Whistle Restaurant

    The line up and check in process was a bit chaotic. We had a 3pm reservation on a Monday. It was very busy so some signage may have helped. The service was good. Slow initially but after all our party arrived the service was good. The burger was delicious and the fries fresh and crisp. My friend had wings and said they were tasty but a bit greasy. Overall would reccomend.

    We were three people, two had burgers while I had the deep fried pork chop. It was amazing, a very thick and super crunchy, tasty crust. I wish they'd open a resto in Ottawa so I could have it again. Our server was great, friendly and attentive. I'm glad we sat inside on very comfortable chairs rather than the bench seating outside.

    Host was great as was the waitress (Francis) Host took the time to seat us with our reservation over the line up of people ahead of us. Our waitress knew her menu and was quick, polite and respectful. Food was good. I enjoyed the burger and my hubby loved the wings. We are both a huge fan of the unfiltered steam whistle beer. I want to take it home! Expect to pay around the 100 dollar mark for two people.

    This was my first visit to Steam Whistle along with my family celebrating a family member’s birthday. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the experience immensely. The burger and fries was very tasty with an abundance of fries. The beverage was a perfect complement to the meal. The venue is right at the heart of the city with a great view and adjacent to the Toronto Railway Museum so perfect for train enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates heritage. Thank you to all staff for the excellent customer service!
