Music was pretty loud, felt like I had to yell while talking to my friends. Food was good, beer a little pricey but good. Waited for a host for 10min before being shown to the table I’d still go back though

Great food and atmosphere but staff super busy and I had to always try to flag. Manager had to finally respond but at least he was attentive that way and pitched in. I do not like waiting for something I need and having to ask for everything - napkins, utensils, like basics that I expect to already be at the table or dropped quickly, not me trying to find someone to get for me after my food served. I huge part of the experience for me is service. I do not think my server is rather aware of the basics or maybe this is just how it is these days. But ready to push drinks. If I live nearby, would sometimes return and great for large parties being able to sit and drink together. But I am not likely to visit again. I chose it because it gluten friendly menu items and super close to where we were going after. No parking.

Highly recommend making a reservation, specially if celebrating a special occassion. The staff at Steamworks always gives you a treat (free dessert, candles on your dessert, etc) when they know you chose to celebrate your special day with them.

The online and paper menus aren’t in sync. When we arrived we waited for a few minutes then another group arrived, flagged the hostess down aggressively and was seated first.

Amazing time at Steamworks. Their patio is dog friendly which is awesome. We had a lovely birthday celebration and they even put a little sign on our table that said Happy Birthday and brought a candle with dessert. Loved it!

Good potential in a beautiful space, however the servers were inattentive and hard to track down. Salads were tasty and full of flavour but the chicken was almost inedible due to its saltiness. We’ll give it another try and hope for some improvements.

We’re there for the food and the beer. Both met our expectations. Our reservation was for an inside table, but on a warm evening we asked for the patio; staff were able to accommodate us very quickly. It’s quite a high energy (loud) place, but outside was perfect.

Food is pretty average, nothing to write home about. The Kale & quinoa salad was predominantly all kale. While the kale was fresh and plentiful, sure was lacking any flavour or “zip” to it. .

It's winter, it's 8 degrees at noon outside, and they opened the whole side of the restaurant. Having lunch with my coat was unpleasant, would not go back until the weather is nice.

Service excellent; very efficient and considerate. Steak Frite pieces good but keep stuff off of it; mashed potatoes should be an option instead of soggy fries. Accoustics and noise level too high inside;might be better in the outer part of the restaurant. Does Steamworks MP cater to singles as well? Too bad it they don't.

Super awesome spot! Great beer and drink choice. The beer menu is on point🤘 We were there on trivia night so it was super fun. My food was yummy (plant based burger -fries) however, nothing special. My friends were not happy with their food (jambalaya, cauliflower tacos, onion rings) but they are a little picky (lol). Can't wait to go back to grab a brew with some friends.

Food is good but portions are a bit on the small side. Service was a bit odd when we went - we were told that they were trying a new system where everyone shares tables, which meant we never saw the same server twice and had to flag someone down each time we needed something. Everyone was helpful but we found that it wasn’t the best experience for us.

Would have been a 5 except they have a policy that you need to order take out food in order to buy offsales. First time I ever heard of that from a brewery! None of the other breweries I have been to like 33 acres make you do that. Seems like a lost business opportunity, unless that is a City policy in order for them to have the patio.
