Great food, great atmosphere and good cocktails albeit a bit pricey. Staff was welcoming, but not as knowledgeable about the spirits they make as I would expect at a distillery. Still, overall a nice experience. Would definitely go back.
Emily and the staff was amazing! Had a great dinner, the kitchen staff did a great job!
great ambiance and beautiful fireplace with comfort foods and a cozy vibe
Great service and very good food.
The wings and drinks were amazing; the dining room is beautiful. Will definitely be back!
What a wonderful dining surprise on our highway 100 road trip. The food was absolutely amazing. Make sure you order the Vermont cheddar fritters. The cocktails were great also.
Will definitely come here again!!! The cocktails were on point! The food was phenomenal and the view was awesome! We will absolutely be back! Our server was new and a bit nervous and not super helpful but this did not distract from our overall experience. The dessert was to die for as well!
From the website, we were expecting a cool vibe and excellent food. The vibe was bare bones; the food was just okay. The prices were high for what we got.
Great food great view great staff!! We live you Emily!
The pumpkin gnocchi, burgers and truffle fries were outstanding.
The Apple cobbler was warm, crispy and just the right size to finish the outstanding dining experience. I will come here again and again and again…..
My wife and I made a reservation via Open Table for Sunday 10/10/21. Columbus Day weekend is always very busy in Killington, VT. Glad we did, everything went smooth - we were seated immediately in the restaurant as requested. Justin, our waiter, was absolutely wonderful and very attentive. The service was quick, the food was excellent and a great value. The butternut squash bisque was worth the 4 hour drive alone! My wife's burger and my buttermilk chicken sandwich hit the spot after a long day of travel, shopping and enjoying the foliage. I can't wait till ski season so I can eat there again, I can only hope the butternut squash bisque will still be on the menu!
We enjoyed doing spirit flights with sharing plates. The flatbread is delicious, as was the cheese plate. All of the spirits are excellent as well, and make fun cocktails.
The food here is really good. The flatbreads are amazing. The burgers are good too as well as the fries. The spirits they make here are really good, especially the two tequila’s.
First the good news: burgers were very tasty. Bad news: when we arrived with reservation, someone (?manager) told host to "stick us in the corner" of bar area when we said we preferred seating in adjacent room with window on distillery. One of us ordered a glass of a wine well-known to us and noted that it didn't taste at all like it usually does. The waiter brought this concern to the bartender and had to sheepishly return to our table to tell us that they no longer carried the wine we ordered and instead had substituted a canned cabernet we had never heard of. The charge for that glass was deducted from our check, but the lack of honesty and deception rates an "F" for customer relations.
Hi there Thank you for the kind words. Apologies if you sat somewhere you didn't wish to be sat. I am sure it was the Freakshow you were used to having here, but the vintner has discontinued. Our wine list was accurate and it is on me if your server didn't know the history of the wine here and the change. I doubt it was anything deceitful or intentional on their part. We do have a lovely list of wines by the bottle. Would love for you to return. - Howie
Booked a table for 7pm. Arrived at 7pm and was told there would be a 15 minute wait and that the restaurant would call me when my table is ready. No worries, I'm happy to wait.
But my phone doesn't ring.
I go back at 7:30pm and ask if my table is ready yet. I am told no it is not ready, and that it will probably be another 10-15mins.
Not being seated until 7:45pm when you have made a 7pm booking is not acceptable. If you couldn't fit me in then don't take my booking. I would find somewhere else to eat. Waiting around all night to eat is not my idea of fun.
I decided to eat a bag of doritos instead as I had been out hiking all day and wanted to eat and go to bed.
Do not recommend as the restaurant does not honor your booking.
Like many restaurants they are understaffed, though everyone was very nice and clearly doing the best they could so we were happy. Food was very good, their whiskey options from their distillery were also really good
Great, prompt friendly service. Good quality food-the pork chop was excellent. Nice cocktails and a friendly feel to the place.
We heard lots of good things about the food at Still on the Mountain and we were not disappointed. We had the tuna tartar appetizer, The gnocchi with brown butter, squash and kale, and a flatbread. Everything was very good! We will go back for the food but stick to beer and wine. The cocktails were mediocre at best.
Wow, I don’t think I can say enough about this place. We came to Killington to stay for the night and we had no idea where to go for dinner. I quickly looked up Killington on Instagram and stumbled across someone’s post…I quickly learned that this gem was only a mile down the road from our stay( the Snowed Inn) and while looking at their website, we instantly knew this was promising. The food was amazing! The outdoor space was perfect for live music and taking in the views. The cocktails were superb and the service was excellent! We really wished we had another night to stay only to take up another great experience, great food and drinks! *highly recommend the Vermont cheddar fritters. The gnoochi is warm for the belly and flavorful for your taste buds.
Food was delicious. Make sure you try the truffle Brussel sprouts and fig flatbread pizza. The craft spirits were excellent.
The staff was very nice and checked in on us frequently! They make a bunch of bourbon in house that has some real quality to it, especially when used in their food recipes!
We stayed at the Inn and decided to eat at the distillery - so glad we did. One of the best seafood meals I have had in a long time! Striped bass was amazing and they were out of the parsnip sauce, so the chef did a romesco sauce....unbelievable! Awesome service provided by Justin!
Our waiter was awesome.
Disappointing experience, service was terrible. Food was cold. Will never go back.
Our food, atmosphere, and service were great. The only reason we dinged the service was because the food took forever to come out. We believe this issue was due to the global problem of low staff and not-necessarily restaurant-specific. We will definitely return!
Short staffed day, took forever to get food.
Poorly staffed. Food was mediocre and bland. Not at all
What we were expecting
Dinner on the outdoor high top. Overall a pretty decent crowd but our waitress was outstanding. Very complete beer list. The distillery burger and fries was the best on the access road IMO. Partner enjoyed the Flatbread. Music on the patio was a bonus. Would definitely rrcommend.
The dry rub wings are INSANE! Seriously.
And the salads are really good too (and big). My son's "kid burger" was gigantic and cooked to perfection (he likes it rare).
I love the idea of the small scale distillery on the hill. Great bartender and really tasty food.
My husband and I had a fantastic dinner. Delicious food, great ambiance and exactly what we were looking for after a day exploring Vermont. Can’t wait to go back!
The cocktails are superior! Howie knows what he’s doing. Do yourself a favor and get in there!
Food was fantastic. Service was great! Highly recommend!
The alcohol they distill is amazing! We enjoyed the maple bourbon and the tequila! The food was so good - we can’t wait to go back!
Phenomenal homemade spirits and delicious fare!
Cheese fritters were awesome in a marinara sauce . Fig flatbread good. Tv’s blaring sports channels and waiter who was hood but no smile.
Prices a bit high but after covid they deserve comeback prices.
There for lunch so didn’t have any signature Dudtillery drinks but they sounded good.
First waiter gave us water then never returned. Had to ask the manager to send a waiter. He was great. Food portions were small and not what was expected.
Parents meeting BF for the first time!!!!!!
We did not have food this time, just stopped in for a drink as we love this place....Howy the bartender was AMAZING!! We will be back soon!
Super friendly staff! Easily changed tables when it got too cold sitting near an outside door. Server was all around fabulous and she got our order perfect even with our special requests. Quickly too but never felt rushed. She checked on our table often although it was pretty busy. 100% will return soon. Thx.
