STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

We had a dinner reservation at 6. We were seated at 6:30. Tables with incomplete party of 6 with reservations at 6:15 were seated ahead of us. Waitress was great. Food and drinks were ok. We have a vegetarian in our party of 4. He wasn’t happy with his veggie burger. We had a much better experience on our first visit with a party of two.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Stir. I was surprised we were able to make a reservation Saturday afternoon for that same night. There was a constant stream of people coming in. The noise level was manageable as the open ceiling was insulated. This is not the case in some other restaurants. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us throughout the evening. I had a Caesar salad and the roasted scallops with root vegetables. When ordering she suggested the smaller salad with the entrée. It was the best Caesar salad I've ever had and the serving was substantial. The scallops also were delicious as were the vegetables. The dishes were served promptly. I'd highly recommend Stir.

Wonderful food, and the drinks were yummy too! The noise level was high, but the restaurant was packed so that’s to be expected. The drinks and food came out quickly but never felt rushed. Would recommend for adults as the menu is not geared for children.

Great menu. Lots of options. Had Steak Frites, wedge salad, chef's board and bottle of red wine, Expedition. Our server, Tori, was incredible. Very attentive. Outstanding personality. Recommend her.

We love brunch on Sunday at Stir. The eggs Benedict is very good...we always order extra hollandaise because they usually do not put much of it on the eggs. The waffles are light and fluffy and quite delicious. We enjoy the breakfast board and I would love to see them add the chicken salad to the menu. Our server was fantastic! I just wish I could remember her name.

We had such a great first experience at Stir. We made a reservation here and got seated right on time. Staff was wonderful and very attentive to us. Food was so delicious!! I recommend it to be on your list to try if you haven’t!!

Lyric our server was an absolute joy! She was so sweet and beyond communicative with updates about the meal. We’re really impressed with the service for a game day in Knoxville. The bar was a little backed up , and one of our appetizers got lost but we honestly didn’t notice because the service was so seamless. This is our new favorite place to take family visiting from out of town!

Best cocktails in Knoxville. We came for an anniversary lunch. This was the 2nd time we have been here. Food was great, we had brunch, which runs until 2:30. The highlight of our meal are the cocktails. Hands down the best you can get in Knoxville. Definitely in the more expensive side, which is why we save this place as a special occasion bar. Though to be fair the drinks are more than worth the price, and you don’t have to order all of them like we do, so you’d probably save some money that way haha. Will be back soon! 10/10

For a cocktail bar I expected a little more flashy with the drinks. For a chocolate martini I would expect chocolate drizzle in the glass or garnishes for the margarita. The food was good.
