We had dinner at the Sterling lounge not the grill. The food was fine. Service was a bit slow but I believe there was a wedding reception also going on at the time. Our server was pleasant, we had the butter chicken which was fine.

We went to the Stirling Grill for our anniversary and order the King's Table with the wine pairing. The food was excellent and the wine pairings "spot on". The view of the mountains fantastic. The service was great too. We will be going back.

Friday night we were seated immediately on the patio with our reservation. It then took 20 mins to get water, 30 to order a drink and an hour to order our food. Absolutely inappropriate service for this supposed calibre of restaurant. I have been 3 times and this has been the case. Will not be returning.

Had dinner on the patio and the location is terrific. A variety of dishes were ordered and reports were good. My maple salmon burger was a little bland. Desserts were very tasty. Would certainly go again.

We were so glad the staff was proactive in saving us an indoor table due to rain (I had asked for patio) We also got a beautiful round table away from lounge noise as we were a party of 7. I do wish the dining area was always an option over bar dining as the views and noise levels are so much better!

We were seated promptly by the maître dis. Our server, Jana, catered to our every need and explained the menu quite clearly. The food was delicious and of apt proportions. We would highly recommend this place for your fine dining experience!

Belinda went above and beyond during our experience. We were able to be switched to sit in fine dining since we were dressed up and it was a special occasion. The Malcolm burger and the Lengendary were both delicious. The cocktails were unique and well made and chocolate pâté dessert was awesome. All presentation was lovely. A memorable experience! We live in Canmore and were staying at the hotel. We will be back for more meals.

The fine dining experience was not to the standard we experienced in the past. There was a wedding so noise was loud we were seated next to the wedding room. We had to ask for our candle to be lit. The duck was only slightly warm and it had heat marks from the warming lights and the steak meal was missing a starch which would have rounded out the meal. Empty appetizer dishes and bread dishes were only occasionally removed from the table. But sat for most of the whole experience. The scallop appetizer was very bland the tartar was fantastic. The beef tenderloin was cooked well We sensed this was all due to lack of staff however it is an assumption. Will we eat there again? unlikely The hotel on the other hand was fantastic!

We ate on the patio, so peaceful and beautiful. The service was leisurely, but attentive- perfect. The food was standard, but with excellent variations, e.g., a superb Tartar sauce, that elevated the result from typical to really outstanding. All-in-all, what we call a Silver Box meal!

The food was great as usual, the service is always prompt and attentive. I love the private alcove booth for intimate conversation while still looking at the surroundings and feeling part of the lounge. Parking is plentiful and pricing is reasonable. Can’t wait to go back.
