We went to STK as Venom was filmed there & we are huge Tom Hardy fans. The manager and staff were extremely friendly and told us the story of the filming and some antidotes. The food was delicious and the waitress extremely attentive. Will definitely return!!
The food exceeded every expectation; great flavor! All was great from parking, to reception, table service, drinks at the bar, even the music, overall ambience, and restrooms were fantastic. Thank you for your continued pursuit of excellence.
We went to STK for our anniversary and it was fantastic! The ambiance was cool, slightly club-like. Definitely a hip vibe but we felt so glamorous! The staff was highly attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. The steaks were great quality but the sides were to die for. Loved the experience and would absolutely recommend!
Great food and the restaurant was nice and the environment was great
The steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it, the cream spinach was good and tasty and the bae lemondae drink was also good
Fantastic food and exceptional service. Britt B. did not steer us wrong with any of his recommendations from the menu. Dry aged Delmonico was perfectly cooked. Sides were creative and delicious-(creamy jalepeño grits and four cheese tater tots.). Great dessert as well. We were in early (6 pm) and there were 25-35 people in the bar area, to which our table was directly adjacent. The noise level was a bit distracting. Ask for a seat away from the bar area. Otherwise, a great location and a great experience to celebrate a special occasion. Thanks again, Britt!
I thought the food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Ashlyn (Anne) Moore was the best. Engaging and very attentive.
Enjoyed my evening although a little expensive great atmosphere, servers first class, ordered NY strip which was a little bit tough for me,asked server if I could change it for a filet,he had it on my table within minutes and very apologetic about the NY Strip.
STK is elegant and dark. I had their signature Manhattan cocktail, which was well made, and a generous pour. I ordered raw oysters on the half shell, and my wife ordered shrimp cocktail. Both were good, although the shrimp cocktail had just three shrimp. We both ordered 6 ounce filets, and they were cooked to perfection. My wife chose the creamy mashed potatoes as her side, and they were delicious. I had the truffle garlic fries, they were nothing special. All in all, STK delivered a nice, upscale meal in nice surroundings.
overpriced, mediocre service, good atmosphere, food tasted good, but have had as good for half as much or less.
The service and the food at STK was average. For the dining experience price point, the service and food quality could be much better. I've been looking forward to dining at this restaurant for a while and was disappointed with the outcome. The STK in LA is much better in my experience. It's unfortunate the Atlanta location isn't as up to par.
Waitress was horrible, we had to wait 20 mins to be seated even when we had a reservation. Then after that she didn’t bring us the bread until another 20 mins. After that she took our order 30 mins later. Waited 40 mins for food, only gave us one refill of water. She was horrible, never came back to check on us. We had to get another waitress to call her. Would not recommend to anyone
We ordered two small filet steaks. I have never seen such a small steak presented. I literally had a double take when I saw it.
They were delicious- but small is not the word. MICROSCOPIC is the right word. $39.
The fries were $12. Get 2 orders if you’re hungry.
Our server did a great job. He was very attentive especially with our dinner being an anniversary celebration. They no longer have fois gras on their menu either as a side or as a steak topping. Lobster mac and cheese was average. My steak was well prepared and could have used more seasoning. We have been to STK a number of times. I would put this restaurant in a group just below Hal's on Old Ivy and Bones.
Have been here before and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Something has changed for the worse though. Our steak was poorly cooked raw in the middle over cooked on the outside. Our server rarely came by and the manager wasn’t interested in making it right. We won’t go back and will tell others to avoid it. It was also dead for a Saturday night at 9 for a place with a big bar and a dj.
STK is a unique concept and our group loved everything about the food itself, the restaurant's ambiance, and the after dinner party. If you're in the area, its a definite must for a nice dinner or for any occasion.
my server ADAM WAS FANTASTIC IN EVERYWAY THANKS STK
Everything was amazing. Ashlyn our server was extremely attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back.
Business dinner on a Thursday night. We sat around 7:30 and ordered promptly as 1 of the 4 had a flight to catch. 1st course (oysters and raviolis) took 45 minutes and the entrees took well over an hour to arrive. Sirloin was good- the 6 oz filet was embarrassingly small. Porterhouse ordered medium well was bloody probably rushed after our repeated complaints. Dining room was half full - I can see why. Poor enough experience that our guest from Houston said he will never go to STK Houston. I’ve had 20+ years of business dinners, this was memorable for the wrong reasons. On a positive Fun bar and the waitress tried once she realized how annoyed we were.
I enjoyed it very much. It was a special occasion and they made it feel even more special.
A winning day! Great food, great ambience, and rubbed elbows with Julio Jones (and family) after watching him beat the Panthers!!!
They didn’t have the thing on the menu.
We had a little bit of a wait. But they made up for it! The host staff was fabulous and we phenomenal! Jasmine was our server and she went above and beyond.
value vs quality poor to expensive for that quality
Felt more like a bar that serves good food. It’s absokutly NOT a date place I’d youre looking for intimate and romantic. It’s probably good for a first date it group date. Not your typical steakhouse- trying to be more modern and but the decor and booths are from the 60s and 70s. All circular booths where you have to fave everyone in your section. It’s just weird- the decor is honestl bad: swing and a miss. Again, more of a bar serving high-end food than a proper Atlanta steakhouse.
First time ever at STK and I was blown away- food was great and the service from Alex was even better!
Overall the ambiance was beautiful and I loved the DJ. However it was my birthday and I was disappointed to have had a rude host who I had to walk up to myself and say I had a reservation ( white older male). My server, Jasmin I believe her name was, was very dry. The server didn’t really check on us much and she didn’t make my birthday feel all that special at STK.
Went to STK on 9/8/2018 with a group of 6. Seating was good, food was good and the service was courteous. Had a drink at the bar before our entire party arrived and then we were seated.
Megan was our server & she enhanced the entire dining experience! The food & ambience were already amazing, but her personable service was the cherry on top!
I brought my boyfriend for his birthday dinner to STK and we were NOT disappointed. The food, the service, the ambiance is top notch, A+! It can be a bit pricey but you're getting what you pay for and it's well worth the money. I can't wait until we go back and I highly recommend for anyone who's never been before.
I went for my birthday and ordered the small filet with truffle butter. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium well). We added spinach and mashed potatoes as our sides. The spinach wasn’t as thick as I would like but was tasty. My husband ordered the salmon which was also cooked to perfection. The foods presentation was great as well.
Service was great, Pricey but worth it! Music was on point.
One of the filet steaks we ordered was bad- old - it disintegrated in my mouth and had an off smell/taste so I returned. It took forever, we ate the other steak, sides and had a second cocktail waiting on the new steak. We finally left before it came out. No manager ever came out and approached us- they left the bartender to handle the entire situation. He did his best, but not worth a trip back if I'm not worth one conversation. poor food and service (outside of the bartender)
Had a fantastic meal from the initial bread that's served with a melted her butter to the amazing banana cream desert. The scallops were extremely interesting and tasty. The steaks come with choices of different toppings and sauces. Though I'm a purest when it comes to nothing on my steaks, I had to try their signature sauce and the red wine sauce, just on a couple of bights. Amazingly good. Great service, quiet and, though dark, lighting was well placed and effective for those of us past 35. :-)
Meal was mediocre for the price. Meal was way too expensive for what it was
Waitress was forgetful ! On 3 separate occasions entrees was wrong or forgotten. Mgr and waitress apologized for the mix-up. Food was starting to get cold by this time and they still forgot the sauces but we didn't complain about it. We decided to proceed to eat anyhow due to our frustration. I noticed right away they served me instant potatoes (really). The food here is nowhere near fine dining. My wife and I spent $300.00. I wish we would have stuck to our favorite restaurant Capital Grill for fine dining. Were thinking Atlanta has several fine dining steak houses so let's try something different but STK is not one of them. That's my opinion.
We have eaten here several times. Overall a very good restaurant just nothing spectacular to get 5 stars in my book. Food was good. It nothing out of the ordinary. The service was very good as it always has been in the past. The first time we ate here was 8 years ago or so and the food was much better (I thought so anyway) back then. It is still a nice place to go just remember as the night gets later the DJ cranks up the music which makes it difficult to vary in a conversation.
The service was great but the food was another story. The wedge salad just get rid of it the blue cheese on it was wayyyyyyy to over powering couldn’t eat it at all but my partner tried. Ordered the rack of lamb and was very disappointed half of it was all fat no exaggeration I mean for 42 I felt highly cheated. The Mac n cheese was burnt as well but the filet was amazing and that’s where it ended. The waiter ask to boxed it but we insist he throw it away
Our server, Alex, was wonderful! We will definitely be back.
Husband birthday celebration. I ordered the salmon and he ordered the Kansas City Steak. We split the sides: creamed spinach, Mac & cheese, & mashed potatoes. The food was amazing! Oh how can I forget the cocktails the skinny dipper was made perfectly! The juice to alcohol ratio was spot on! We will def return next time with a small group.
