    Wife and I made reservations for anniversary dinner. Initially service with first server was friendly and attentive but then quickly went downhill after that. *Received food well after another couple even sat down let alone ordered. *Server switch *Was never offered bread like everyone else. Waited 20 minutes and then had to ask (patio wasn't overly busy, 4+ servers on hand) *Ordered from a preset menu but selected steak wasn't available (Really?? No steak a steakhouse??) No big deal, order a different cut *Ordered the caesar salad, no caesar dressing available and we weren't asked if we wanted something else instead. We were just given ranch and blue cheese......not the same and just expected to eat that. Not cool but also not a massive deal *Prior to the Mains arriving, we tell server #2 we didn't want an add on and she says no problem I'll take it off. Mains come with the sides. Looks good initially but one of the sides is not what we ordered and the add on is there. Again no explanation or anything. WTH man?? Starting to get angry at this point. *Fairly close to our table, 1st server goes to tell the 2nd server about the issue with the side and all the other mishaps, 2nd server rolls her eyes and acts like we're the ones being difficult *2nd comes back to our table to check on things and doesn't offer an apology our anything for the series of mishaps and just asks what dessert we want. Very disappointing *1st server clears the table and apologizes for everything and offers to take a few things off the bill + a small discount. We graciously accept *1st server again explains what he's doing to the bill to the 2nd server and again gives off the impression that we're a big nuisance and being difficult. Incredible..... *We pay, still tip fairly well and as we're leaving we pass by the 2nd server, clearly in each other's path but she pretends weakly not to see us and doesn't apologize or thank us for coming by. Wow..... *No manager present to discuss

    The waiter service was great but the kitchen was slow and food wasn’t good at all the lobster was hard with no season and the steak was over cooked. I ordered the lamb chops and they were super rare I sent it back and the food took over an hr to come out. It was a Saturday night so we were being patient but over an hr was crazy.

    One of my best restaurant I’ve been in so far atmosphere was beautiful clean service was great specially Kaylene one of the best she made our night go small, and the food was great little pricey, but after all, it’s a good restaurant to be in

    Ordered drinks and appetizers off happy hour menu at 615. Charged full price as server didn’t ring in our order until 635, after happy hour ended. Ordered dinner at 640, food came out at 740 to the wrong table, then was brought to us. Terrible experience.

    Great dinner! The Cesar salad was the best I’ve ever eaten. The filets were cooked perfectly and the brussel sprouts were a perfect side. Definitely a scene on Friday night, but we enjoyed the atmosphere.

    I would highly recommend STK Scottsdale to anyone I know. By far the best service I have received in ANY restaurant, I travel for work and I eat in plenty of restaurants and this was by far the most attentive and knowledgeable service I have ever received. The happy hour is the best in the phoenix area, ALL cocktails are half off ???? and the food is SUCH a steal! We ended up staying for dinner and the steak was juicy and delicious. Jordan, our server, was just phenomenal. As i mentioned, best service I have ever received. He recommended I add a butter to my steak and also make it surf and turf with some seafood, BEST recommendation ever. It was SO much better that way and I applaud Jordan for his knowledge. Katie, the manager, stopped by to make sure we were having a great experience which was unexpected and made our experience that much better. She had the best personality ensuring our experience was the best it could have been. Every staff member goes above and beyond to ensure the experience is worth it. Let me tell you, it is worth every penny!!!!! STK Scottsdale went above and beyond and I will definitely be returning!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!!

    They didn’t have the advertised cheeseburger for National cheeseburger day. Other than that which was a disappointment because it’s what we came for, the food and service were good.

    Food was fabulous. Loved the steak with the peppercorn crust and the sauces. The Mac and cheese was delicious. Service very good and fun atmosphere.. we will be back !

    Cool restaurant... we went for restaurant week, those menus weren't provided and we were looked at like dirty dogs when asking. Most options were add ons so the value went down. Felt like a racket. My filet was good, oysters were not. Dessert was not, my wife thought the cheesecake was frozen. These ultra trendy places aren't for everyone. Diverse clientele, guys is baseball hats/shorts and lots of dressed up young girls. Won't be going back.

    They sat us right away which was a breath of fresh air because the previous time we had to wait an hour after our reservation time. Our waiter was amazing he was attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. The food was ok I paid 150 for a waygu steak that was just ok. The food compared to the price was not worth it too me to return again, however I enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks.

    Our service was amazing, and the food was good. But I don’t think the food was worth the price. It was a fun atmosphere - and if you are looking for the club feel during dinner, higher prices may be justified.

    Better tasting steaks at other steak houses. Music very loud hard to have a conversation. Tables are not solid every time you move the drinks spilled. They tried to fix by putting sugar packets under the base. Did not help. Bar area was very nice and good service

    Warning! This is a nightclub that serves steak. Impossible to hear each other talk. We got there at 7:45 and our food was served at 10:15. We finally left without our dessert at 11:10.

    Everything was great, but we waited 2 hours to get our food. Turns out every table had this same problem. We were compensated 25%, but 2 hours is excessive.

    We were a party of five. We all had drinks, the margaritas were the most subpar of all of our drinks. Our two appetizers were the star of the night. Calamari and shrimp cocktail. We had two Delmonico steaks at our servers suggestion, they were so bland and quite flavorless. We ordered mashed potatoes that tasted gritty like they had instant potatoes mixed in. The truffle fries were so-so. The Mac-n-chees with bacon bits was dry, however the bacon was AMAZING. The salmon was good. Our server kind of abandoned us after our food was brought TWO hours after we ordered. He never came back to see if we wanted more drinks. They brought us boxes, but not enough for the leftovers so they had to make three trips. Overall it was a huge disappointment. We will be going back to Steak 44.

    How to say this in a few words? As ardent and educated diners favoring fine steak houses, we had been excited about finally trying STK. We spent 30 minutes there before quickly arranging a reservation at Mastro's. The ambience was unduly loud, it took 25 minutes to get two simple cocktails - bartender: "sorry, we're super busy and these are new cocktails we're not good at making yet." Same bartender dried a plastic bucket full of glassware right in front of us (at the bar). When one plans on spending $500 or so on dinner, this is not what one hopes for. The decision to leave was just too simple to choose.

    I wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I did not. First, we were seated at our table. The waitress quickly arrived to take our drink order, which was appreciated as the restaurant was empty. The manager greeted us at our table and told us to ask for him if we needed anything. That was the last we saw of him. Our drinks arrived shortly thereafter. However, it quickly went downhill after that. The Arizona Restaurant Week menu had a decent offering, however everything was basically extra. Nonetheless, we ordered our food and conversed for a while. Then, 20 minutes went by and our appetizers still hadn’t arrived. No worries, we continued to make conversation. Another 20 minutes went by and our appetizers still hadn’t arrived. At this point, we were looking for the waitress or the manager, but neither were anywhere to be found. Finally, 60 minutes after we were seated our appetizers arrived. The tuna tacos were good, but we did not enjoy the oysters. After enjoying our appetizers, the wait resumed. We waited for ~50 more minutes until my patience had completely been depleted. I stood up to pay my bill at the front with the hostess, as the waitress or manager had disappeared, and walk out when suddenly our waitress appeared. I told her it had been 2 hours since we were seated and our entrees were still not served to us. She apologized and said she would check with the kitchen. A few minutes later our food finally arrived to our table. The steak was good, the potato wedges were uncooked and hard, the Parmesan fries were good, and the mashed potatoes were the best thing we had. After eating our dinner, the waitress brought us the check without serving our dessert. However, at that point I couldn’t be bothered to inquire about it, so we quickly paid the check and left. Other tables that arrived after us were served their food within an appropriate amount of time. Although, they did have a different waitress. Sadly, I won’t be back.

    I walked through the door and was greeted by a beautiful hostess named Peyton. She came up with the biggest smile on her face and walked us to our table and gave us our menus. She even asked us what kind of water we preferred. Next came the kindest busser named Lucas and asked us if we would like some of their delicious sourdough pull apart bread with blue cheese butter and it came out fresh and warm in seconds! Annabelle was the greatest server ever! She brought our drinks fast with a smile and took our order. We got a burger and some fries and it was delicious!!! When I was halfway through my burger my lovely server Annabelle came back and got us two more drinks and they were so mouthwatering that I wanted another right away!!! The night ended with a warm goodbye and a 5 star review for the WHOLE restaurant. It was a great experience 10 out of 10 would recommend to everyone!:)

    What an amazing experience! The waitress Andrea was so friendly and personable. She helped with choose the best things on the menu because it was our first time. We also had the chance to meet the manager Gordon. He was great and make us feel at home. The food was amazing and the the shots were so sweet.

    1st of all, they seated us in the bar low table area for our anniversary, not even the nice side. Also, beside saying happy anniversary, they didn’t give us a special dessert or anything. This is the 1st time a nice restaurant did nothing special. The staff was hanging out and talking right in front of us too. Food was just ok. Very disappointed and not impressed at all.

    I wanted to LOVE this place because upon walking in it was so cute and the ambiance amazing!! I’m a big “steak connoisseur” and was excited to have a nice steak dinner with a Friend. It was a weds night and they were not busy. The service was very subpar from the moment we arrived. The waitress acted “annoyed” by our requests/questions about the drink menu and spent most of her time talking in the corner with a coworker. We ordered filet mignon, the food runner dropped it at our table and practically “ran off” while I was in mid sentence asking for steak knives, he completely ignored us. The waitress finally brought steak knives after we had about 2 bites left of our steak (we had to use butter knives to make due since it appears the servers and food runners are completely oblivious). I would think for being a steak house rule 1 would be make sure your guests have steak knives at the table. All of the above That would not have been as big of a deal however we ordered our steak medium and it was basically raw in the middle, I would call it more rare/medium rare temp. The steak tasted freezer burned and just “off”. It was very hard to eat (which is hard to mess up a filet they almost always have good flavor and are tender everywhere I’ve been - I think Applebees has a better steak to be honest). Someone came by who seemed like maybe a “manager”? Asked how our food was I just shrugged and said ehhhh it was ok I guess and she just said oh ok wonderful and walked off!! I was shocked that they would ask a guest how the food was and the guests clearly showed dissatisfaction and they thought that was “great” and just left. We didn’t want to make a big deal out of it since nobody there seems to actually care about their guests experience, it was really disheartening because this restaraunt has GREAT potential!!! Please get some better trained staff that truly care about people’s experience there and do something to set yourselves apart as a steak house…..

    Not quite sure what the hype was about for this place. I’ve had better tasting food from cheaper/chain restaurants. Saw a review saying the same thing about how the food wasn’t great at all, probably should’ve listened to that review. Although, we ended up choosing STK for the ambience inside and the rooftop (which is only open on the weekends) which were good and apparently what they’re known for, service was good as well. So if you’re going for the vibe and maybe drinks, it wouldn’t be a bad place to go. Just don’t go if you’re hungry because you’ll be paying for overpriced mediocre food.
