    My dining experience at STK was tainted from the start as the hostess working was abrasive and made up multiple excuses before seating my party. Some members of my party arrived early to our reservation at which time the hostess told us we had to wait for our entire party to be present in order to be seated (first excuse told). At the time of our reservation (8:30pm), we asked to be seated as 2 members of the party were running late - at this point the hostess said that if we were to be seated it would cut into our 2/2.5 hour seating time (second excuse told) which we let her know we were okay with. At that point she proceeded to ignore that we were okay with starting our dining time and stated that we had to be fair to other parties waiting for their groups - the complete opposite of what she had just said. Finally at 8:45pm (waiting for the final member of the party to arrive) we asked to be seated once again, the hostess proceeded to tell us that there was another group finishing up at our table/getting their bills and we had to wait for them (third excuse told). Finally after multiple different stories being told we were seated at 9pm - 30 minutes past our original reservation. Through the whole wait time the hostess also repeatedly called me “Yasmin” and asked my guests if they were for “Yasmin’s” party after multiple times of me telling her my name. The remainder of the night was great, our waitress was very kind and professional and the atmosphere was good.

    Totally overrated! We made a reservation for 730p for 4 people but because our entire party wasn’t there they would t seat us until we were all there. Food is very overpriced for the value of what you’re receiving. Honestly if you’re putting out that money BlueBlood or Harbour 60 is way better choice for value. Best part was the waitress; she was lovely. Food was just ok so not sure what prices were so ridiculous. I will not go back because better is out there!!!

    We had the chicken and the by strip, medium rare. The chicken (breast pieces) was juicy at every bite. The steak was cooked perfectly. Only thing I'd say: don't get the fries ($21 for fries is a bit much).

    Thursday evening for an early dinner was fabulous. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Our server, Kyla, was gracious, knowledgeable and engaging. The food was perfectly cooked and displayed. We will be back.

    We dined here on Nov.22/23. The hostess was uninterested, lacked basic hospitality - no eye contact, no response to our thank yous, threw the menus on the table - was generally unwelcoming and should not be the "face" of any customer-based establishment. Luckily our waitress was lovely and very personable. My spouse and I both ordered our steaks medium-rare but mine was overcooked and more medium-well. Thankfully the steaks were seasoned well and not dry despite being overcooked.

    Sadly bartender couldn’t reconfigure offered cocktail by omitting an ingredient. Seemed strange so had to order something else. Steak so-so for the price. Caesar salad not great. Sides very good and server et al were great. 700 for three people for three star food disappointing! Great location and ambience but we go a lot and it’s inconsistent re food that’s troublesome

    STK is a special place. I love the care the staff pays to us, and how they go out of their way to make sure the whole experience is a special one. The food is excellent; the wines are good and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place for a meal.

    Our server Coco was absolutely amazing!! She made our experience exceptional ! I highly recommend getting a table with her! The food was delicious, the ambience was great! I highly recommend STK for any special occasion, or just even a date night.

    Our waiter was good. He made great suggestions, was friendly and checked in on us throughout the evening. The hostess in the lobby downstairs was terrible. No customer service skills at all.

    Our server really made the experience! She informed us about the menu and gave great suggestions! There was an error they did make but our waitress did make up for the error and they really take care of you here! Definitely recommending this to family and friends.

    The decor was lovely and the service first rate but the food was only okay with ridiculous prices. Over$100 pp for a main with shared sides not including drinks / staters / desserts. Very much a legacy upscale steakhouse model whose time has passed. Many better options in Yorkville.

    Happy hour is worth while. We enjoyed a few dishes and drinks. Told them it was someone’s birthday and also noted it on open table. The server was attentive and wished my friend happy birthday but then didn’t bring a candle out when we ordered dessert. Overall it was a good experience

    It has been so many years since the last time I dine in STK Toronto in Yorkville. On a Sunday evening, Yorkville is surprising quiet, easy to get car park and basically no reservation needed for STK (Although I strongly recommend reservation). We sat down quickly, and complimentary sourdough bread came very fast after ordering. However, it's cold and hard, definitely a worst start of the night. We ordered Miso glazed Chilean seabass, and Australia Wagyu Flat iron steak for the main. I am very surprised the Chilean seabass is one of the best I have in Toronto so far. It is by my opinion better than Blueblood. The Flat iron is very tender and cook to medium rare as I requested. Keep in mind most steakhouses are always overcooked the steak! Finally we finished off with Apple Crumble with vanilla ice cream. The dessert has nothing special and the apple crumble is not warm enough. I still recommend STK is a top choice for dating!

    Place was great! Especially want to give a big thanks to our waitress, she was very professional, pleasant and well educated on your menu. Great ambiance and food. Only minor downside would be the time it took to be seated although having a reservation, but i understand Saturday nights are probably more busier. Overall great experience.

    Really fun place to go with large group. It took a little while to get seated but once seated the experience was exceptional. Expensive but for the overall atmosphere it didn’t feel like I overpaid.

    Celebrated my birthday- great service from the moment we were seated. Hostess gave me a bigger table as I am 9 months pregnant. Our server Saska was amazing. She recognized my birthday right away. Food was incredible from the bread to the calamari and then the steak and pumpkin ravioli. We also loved the side of corn pudding. Will definitely be revisiting. Loved the whole experience

    I never leave bad reviews but absolutely have to here. Atmosphere was only plus because the food was so terrible. Worst fine restaurant we have been to. Do not get seafood here!!!! Oysters were served still stuck to the shell because (they didn’t shuck them properly) also they washed them after opening them so none of the oysters liquor or brine taste was present- it was gross they had absolutely no taste. Seafood tower is pre made clam and mussel salad like a cheap cold salad from a grocery store and lobster tails were absolutely flavorless you could tell they were in the freezer for a long time. Atmosphere was very cool but honestly there is no excuse for a 600.00 dinner for 2 people (including one martini and one espresso) to be this bad. The food was so disappointing. The dry aged steak did not have that probiotic/cured taste which leads me to believe they just told me it was aged. Lobster Mac and cheese was such a sad attempt and closer to Kraft than fine dinning. We couldn’t eat the seafood tower it was just obviously not fresh. Perhaps it’s our own fault because it’s a steak place and we ordered the seafood tower but oyster appetizers are very common and we always get them so we expected this to be better. The chase has a way better seafood tower. Sadly the iceberg wedge was the best part of dinner. There are lots of good places to go to in Toronto and I will not return to this one. Blueblood is hands down so much better. Their lobster Mac and cheese is legit and doesn’t feel like it was dumped out from a can. Also the aged steaks at Blueblood are on point. Louix louis is also better and has a calmer vibe. Habour 60 has better food also but is such a lifeless boring atmosphere that it feels pretentious. Wait staff was pleasant and nice but there is nothing they can do to make the seafood taste fresh or to make the steak quality better. I am sad to say that this place was more like ruby Tuesdays than fine dinning it just has a cool atmosphere.

    Have been going to STK for years. I don't recall cocktails being 30.00 each! Went yesterday at about 3:00 in the afternoon, place was empty, sat at the bar and ordered a couple of basic drinks with a friend. Asked for the bill and for 5 cocktails the bill was 155.00 plus tip was 180.00 dollars! Outrageous, won't be returning ever again.
