   Service was great. My Server was very friendly, checked on us often, but never rushed us, which was really nice since we unintentionally stayed past close. My steak was overcooked. But I think my Server may have misheard or understood me when I placed my order. But the lobster Mac n cheese was also over cooked and dry. I also think this is a place better for groups.

   We went here for winterlicious and my husband’s birthday. The menu selection was actually really good that we had a hard time deciding! We asked for recommendations from our server and he was fantastic. We tried caviar and aged steak for the first time, cooked to perfection. We ordered a few items off the regular menu as well. There’s coat check as well, live DJ and photo booth. It seemed like everyone was there celebrating a special occasion as every 20 minutes for so there was a sparkler lit! We really enjoyed our night!!

   A beautiful atmosphere, tasteful chic music emulating from a rich sound system, efficient reservation and service. The food was delicious the 14 oz New York Strip delivered hot and a perfect Medium rare as requested accompanied by a nice bottle of wine and tasty cocktails made for a wonderful evening. The bill however carried a bit of sticker shock but with cocktails and bottle of wine should have been as much of a surprise. Overall; a great experience though the cost will likely make it more of an occasional occurrence than a habit but, I will return as the vibe, ambiance, and meal quality carried all the trimmings of a night to remember.

   Our group loved the atheistic, and the food was also pretty decent, but the service was extremely below average. I can understand them having a busy night, but the fact that we had a reservation and still had to wait 30-40 mins past our reserved time didn’t sit well with me. Also, although our server rarely showed up to accommodate and meals were too far and too few in between

   We absolutely loved our first time here! The food was great, staff was lovely and accommodating. We understand it was a Saturday night and it's busy in the city/Yorkville in general, however we did have to wait a considerable amount of time despite having a reservation. Otherwise, a good experience.

   With the caveat that we went for Winterlicious, where some restaurants like this one (perhaps) scale down on customer experience, this was not good except for our server who was fantastic. Our reservation was for 8:30, and we were sat after 9, which didn’t get off to the best start, but the place was over-booked and we understood, and went on with high expectations. Unfortunately, the portions are incredibly small: value for money is definitely not the theme, but though the appetizers of a cheese plate and a slider - the naming convention was much better :) - were okay, the steak was very poorly cooked (i.e. a medium came rare and a medium rare came out blue), and stone cold. The dessert course was fair at best, and overall so disappointed. Our server was great, very accommodating and hit the table at the right times - no complaints at all about the people (including a floor man providing directions around the place who was great).

    We were there for my husbands 48th birthday about to spend hundred of dollars and the host called out to us as we walked to the elevator “you have 1.5 hrs!”. Not a great way to make your guests feel in a high-end restaurant. There are more discrete ways this could be communicated. There are many high end steak houses in Toronto where their guest treatment better reflects the high end experience they aim to deliver. Would not go back.

    Bday gathering with family, Charlotte our server was awesome, food was delish, vibe was great. The only downside I would say is that they have a 2.5 hour time limit for the table… not too happy about as we had just finished dessert and were asked (nicely) to wrap it up asap. Ummmm ya, otherwise all was very nice

    Went to STK for the first time to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, great music, amazing service, and impeccable food and presentation. Such a great experience and the best steak I’ve ever had!

    Definitely the food was extremely good but the price is too high. When we compare to other places around, the diner was way too expensive. Happy that we’ve done a dinner there but it is the last time.

    Absolutely the best dining experience I have ever had in Toronto. The ambience was incredible, the staff were so friendly and warm, the food was to die for and it honestly was the best birthday dinner ever!! They had sparklers and cake for my birthday as well and it was just a memorable moment!! Thank you so much STK!

    My wife and I have dined at various STK’s In the USA and wanted to see how this experience would compare. We LOVED it!! Starting with the young lady who ran reservations downstairs; She meant business and was so polite while assisting customers. She set the tone for the customer service experience. Then Sean took it to the next level as our server. He made great suggestions and we never had to ask for anything. His section support was always on it clearing off our table until Sean would return. Lastly the vibe was awesome! The did a light show at 11:00 pm and brought shots to everyone in the restaurant. My wife thanked the manager Christina on our way out for such a great experience. The food and plating was phenomenal. The rack of lamb which is our favorite was PERFECT and the Brussels sprouts and macaroni and cheese finished it off in style. Such an amazing experience from service, food, atmosphere and more. Continue the amazing work and effort in creating an experience for guests to enjoy.

    Tomahawk steak was not flavourful and too chewy. Recommend to order different cut of meat. The butter blowtorched at table did not add much flavour so you can skip this. Service was good but food did not meet expectations.

    The restaurant was lit mainly by small candles, and it was okay at first but after a while the dimly lit space started hurting my eyes. I really enjoyed the food though, especially the parmesean fries, and the bacon mac n cheese was tasty. The truffle butter with blue cheese as spread for the appetizer was shockingly addicting! Would definitely coming back just for the fries though...

    Appetizers were terrible, especially the calamari. It was extremely dry and brittle. The meatballs were like they were cooked from frozen and were hard. I’ve been at several STK places in the past, and the food was always exceptional. We were going to leave before we order dinner, but did not want to be rude. the dinner was much better the exceptional drinks we were used to from a STK steakhouse was not present drinks just seemed to be basic. Perhaps it was lack of experienced staff.

    A must try! We had an amazing night at STK! The atmosphere was pumping and all the staff were super friendly. Compliments to the talented Chef Scott for an incredible feast and night to remember!

    our server Michael was extremely rude. at the end of the meal we needed to pay debit. he handed us the machine and our receipts without saying a word. no goodbye or goodnight. just walked away from us.

    I came for my birthday and everyone from The hostess to the the waitress were amazing! The ambiance was super chic and created a nice atmosphere for me and my friends to celebrate a new year, new birthday and overcoming a diagnosis that for some is fatal. I got to celebrate life and friendship and that meant the world to me. Thank you STK for helping me celebrate I’m style surrounded by love.

    STK is a great restaurant, amazing ambiance and music playing all time long, super chic. The service was great, everyone is super friendly. The price for food is a little high, one crab cake is $47.

    Food grade itself is of above average quality but lacks inspiration; same old same old. Waiter/ess/ servers are young and lack training to add to the experience. Examples being my fork was taken after the appetizers and although when the mains were delivered I requested a replacement non was forthcoming so ended taking one from the table beside us. I ordered steak and had to ask for steak knife. The couple who eventually sat next to us had to ask for a fork; attention to details is non existent. If you are looking for a fine dining experience this is not the place to fulfill that expectation.
