   The open concept dining room is not designed for friendly conversations and gentle laughter and jokes. Most people seemed to be shouting to be heard by their companions. Loud and unrestrained laughter was common. This was at lunch! Our exceptionally kind and tolerant waiter/waitress enabled us to move our water glasses to a table in the lobby where we could hear one another. Yes we are older, yes we get impatient but we love eating out so we can see our friends while somebody else does the cooking. The renewed Delta is great! But the acoustics are terrible.    My first time there for a little Fredericton reunion with some gfs and it was perfect! The food plates were huge! And worth the value. I ordered the brisket based on a suggestion given by the waitress and it was melting in my mouth. I can’t wait to bring my family from ON here over the summer to give it a try!

   We went for our anniversary and had "The Experience". In the end for two people it was a generous serving size, and we left with plenty to bring home. Food quality was high, especially the brisket, and the service was terrific.

   It was a busy night so the place was quite loud but it was upbeat and energetic. Hard when one of the party has hearing aids. Given the volume of the people maybe turning the music down might have helped? The food was great and the service very friendly. There was a slight mix up in the order but we were offered a free dessert to compensate. Overall, we loved the place and we will go back.

    Your kitchen staff and wait staff hit out of the park for my husband on his birthday out with friends. We all were impressed! As a retired Red Seal Chef he was very impressed by the food and presentation!!! We will be back!!

    There were some hiccups that hadn't happened to me before at STMR. Usually things are amazing. This time, not so much. The salad dressing was off, as in someone messed the recipe up, so we had to send it back. Sadly, we wound up with ceasar salad instead of the house salad. Then the creme brulee was more like soup. It was horribly runny. Not set up. At all. But it tasted good. When dessert is included in the lunch special, you would think they would have it already made but I guess someone slipped up. Our waiter was excellent but taking payments before dessert is kinda weird. We made our reservations in advance for our group so it's not like we surprised them. Hopefully it's just a one off.

    The restaurant could not find my reservation. After several awkward minutes they decided two of the six expected had already arrived at the table. Supposed to be surprise for my husband's birthday. So much for that. It took nearly two hours before we received our food after ordering. More than three before we finally got the bill to leave. The fish chowder which my husband ordered had no salmon because they were out of it. They asked if he wanted a biscuit with it since there was no bread or crackers offered he took it... Charged $3 for the biscuit. After spending nearly $400 on the table you expect more. All the food was mediocre. will not go again.

    We went to Stmr36 to celebrate the birthdays of my 3 young adult children. There were 9 of us. Most of us had the lunch special which was amazing. My son had the badass burger , my son in law had the seafood chowder and my mom and aunt shared the nachos. Everything was sooo good. I absolutely love the dressing on the Woodstock salad.

    The menu changed and the item I was craving had been replaced on the menu. Nachos were not identified on the new menu, but they were still available. The nacho chips tasted old. Overall food was ok, but it took an extra 30 minutes for us to get and pay our bill

    Restaurant was very crowded and noisy. Staff were moving tables around and making lots of noise. It was impossible to have a conversation. Waitress took a long time to come and serve us. We were served drinks and close to an hour later we had not yet been served our food. Observed many tables that came in after us being served. Our food was not brought over until I pointed it out to a staff member. Only then did our food arrive. It was obvious we had been forgotten. I would not recommend your restaurant to any of my friends.

    Love going to the restaurant to eat, it's just almost impossible to find a parking spot (unless you park at the behind of the old Victoria Health Centre and walk up). I know it's nothing you can do since it's a big hotel, and always lots of events going on.

    restaurant was busy and nothing seemed fresh. nachos tasted stale and chewy. jalapeño poppers were soggy and mushy and the ribs were over done like they had been cooked hours ago and thrown in the microwave. this was second trip first experience was fabulous this one was very disappointing.

    My husband and I decided to try the burger, battle burger, Juicy Lucy for our date night. It was absolutely delicious as the food always is here. It was very busy so we waited a little while for our food. It would’ve been nice to have been offered an appetizer or something while we waited. And it is always a little bit loud in there.     Everything was delicious, the service is always 100%, it was very busy but everything still flowed smoothly! I recommend the Stmr if you have a special occasion as it is a bit pricey! We always find it’s well worth it.

    There were 4 of us in the party. 2 meals were excellent. One was ok. The 4th meal was a complete disappointment!! Overcooked burger, hard bun and cold fries!!!! Certainly not up to usual standards!! Hopefully next time will be better. Every restaurant has an off night. Perhaps this was the case. We will try again another time though.
