   The waiter made our experience great! He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. You can tell he take his job very seriously and just a lovely person to be around! The food and views were also amazing. Definitely recommend!

   Service was very good and friendly. Restaurant was not full but they don’t seem to seat every table. Menu is very small but good choices. Never had bison burger before and don’t normally eat ground meat but it was very good.

   My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary here and had a wonderful time. We both had the beef tenderloin which was exceptional. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

   Service was excellent, our waiter Josh was top notch. One food order was delicious and hot. However, the second food order was steak that was cold. They took it back and just reheated it which then over cooked the steak. A place of that prides itself on fine dining and quality should’ve remade the whole meal instead of just reheating it.

    Not what I am accustomed to at Stone peak. Service was not great. Maybe she was new but not very perceptive to our needs. She was not familiar with the menu or what might be available. Ordered a martini which is usually spot on but this one was not very drinkable and she did not seem to notice that I ordered a glass of wine with my martini still half there. Bison strip loin was pretty good but the vegetables were very dry and difficult to eat… not a good combo with Bison. Will Be back after a break to give it another go.

    We love coming to Overlander lodge! It’s such a treat to get away from the hustle and bustle and just slow down and enjoy the simple magic and beauty of this place, I could sit by that roaring fire for hours!! Always enjoy meeting other people and having a lovely chat by the fire❤️

    Out of the 4 dining experiences here, this was disappointing. Duck entree increased $5.00 per plate since Feb, mussels for appetizers are off the menu, we asked for bread as we waited for main course and surprised it was a $6.00 charge. Also didn't care for presentation of main course, of duck and rice and vegetables in a bowl. Previously, this dish was with whipped mashed potatoes or baby potatoes.

    We had a beautiful table by the window overlooking the mountains. Food was amazing service was excellent. We shared the Charcuterie for 2 with the cheese. Salami and pickled vegetables were a bit too spicy for me but hubby enjoyed the spice. Main Entree was Duck Breast and the Beef Tenderloin were cooked to perfection. The vegetables were tasty as well. Beets and squash were nicely seasoned. The white chocolate cheese cake was to die for. Our waiter was Paul and he was very knowledgeable and attentive.     We first stayed here 13 years ago. The food was delicious then. Returning this year, the dining room is remodeled, the service is informal but very competent. Just perfect for a mountain lodge, and the food is still outstanding. Very creative. One of our favorite places!

    Food was amazing, view is incredible. All around great venue. The staff provided great service, albeit slightly disingenuous. The enjoyable experience was tarnished in all honesty by the fact the bartender patronisingly called one of our group out for not adding the 18% tip to one last drink after paying 18% on our $650 bill. He didn’t even make the drink, a new staff member did. Ps Tim on reception is incredible!

    I ordered a New York sour, which was a feature cocktail on the menu. It came with a straw and a bunch of crushed ice. This cocktail is served up, so it was weird and disappointing to have it this way. If you are going to have a classic cocktail on your menu, you should know how to prepare it. The service was quite slow. It took an hour to get our mains and other tables of people who arrived after us got their meals before us. Once the food arrived it was delicious and the wine was fantastic.

    My son and I are foodies, so we made reservations. This restaurant did not disappoint. I love the fact that they source many ingredients locally. The staff are super friendly and our server was awesome! I love that he takes the time to chat, explain the menu as well as ingredients, and tell stories.
