Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis.
Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. From sandwiches to salads, to soups and Kramarczuk's hot dogs. We have local craft beer and Belgians on tap. Stray Dog is open Monday at 4pm and Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm to 10pm for indoor dining, curbside, free local delivery, and takeout. Saturday and Sunday we offer brunch from 12pm -3pm. We have a Main Menu, Vegetarian Menu, and Kids Menu. Sidewalk patio is open starting May 3rd, 2022.

Manager unprofessional while also working on the floor as a server. Sat at 8:21pm, wasn’t until 8:38pm when I finally got up and ran into our server who became hostile when I said “we have been waiting for 20 minutes” when he quickly responded “well then my clock must be fast then cause I was there when I sat you” ok, sorry 17 minutes. He kept his petty nonsense up taking our order, caused a scene when I confronted him in front of the entire front of the restaurant, yelling “I DONT KNOW YOU!”. Then greeted the table that saw the commotion in the front within minutes of them seating. Then continued the talk loudly to this table about me. We promptly left and he continued his rudeness as we walked out. We’ve emailed the companies website, we are note expecting anything in response.

The BEST burgers in Twin Cities! We love this place and our two Goldens are well taken care of by the staff. Never disappoints, food is fabulous and the only place we go when we crave a burger. Telling everyone so be ready. Keep up the great work!!!

Stray Dog offers good food, a wide variety of choices and a casual atmosphere. Unfortunately, the restaurants seating policy requiring separate tables for groups greater than 6 people makes it unsuitable for larger groups. While I appreciate its the restaurants prerogative to set such a policy, for our family group of 9 it was an extremely awkward experience especially with waitstaff and other customers constantly walking between our two separate tables. We’ll definitely be looking for other options that can accommodate our family gatherings in the future.

Big menu with a lot of vegan options which is nice. Burger was under seasoned but the fries were above average. Price was very high for the product. GF and I paid 65 dollars (before tip) for two burgers/fries and two beers.

Stray Dog has some of the best burgers and fries around. If you don't want a 1/2 lb burger, they make most of their burgers in a slider size. They also have an extensive vegitarian menu and a great beer selection.

Right off the bat the environment and vibe of the place is very nice and modern. Service was prompt, efficient and server was friendly. We did HH sliders and they were phenomenal, besides that, surprised by how many wings a single order has and how delicious they were. If you love dogs, you’ll find the decoration art to be top notch. Recommend!

I love the selection for vegetarians. Just about everything has a plant based alternative. I also like that they are one of the few places in Minnesota not charging the suspicious “health and wellness” fee. Other places just need to be transparent and adjust their prices.

We drove 40 minutes on icy roads for our Christmas Eve dinner. When we got there at 6:55 for our 7:00 reservation there was a handwritten sign on the door that said they closed at 6:00. So mad!!!

Well,… My fiancée walked in with Boba tea, and the host didn’t even mention their policy but the server had no problem, reaching across the table, grabbing her tea and throwing it out and letting us know there were no outside drinks. We wouldve just finished it outside…We decided not to drink after that, so unfortunately, we can’t tell you how good their alcohol selection was but their food was okay shout out to the cheese curds.
