Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis.
Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. From sandwiches to salads, to soups and Kramarczuk's hot dogs. We have local craft beer and Belgians on tap. Stray Dog is open Monday at 4pm and Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm to 10pm for indoor dining, curbside, free local delivery, and takeout. Saturday and Sunday we offer brunch from 12pm -3pm. We have a Main Menu, Vegetarian Menu, and Kids Menu. Sidewalk patio is open starting May 3rd, 2022.

Stray Dog has some of the best burgers and fries around. If you don't want a 1/2 lb burger, they make most of their burgers in a slider size. They also have an extensive vegitarian menu and a great beer selection.

This place has so many vegetarian options! The food is delicious. The service was wonderful. The drink selection is also plentiful (including many local craft beers). We will definitely be back!

Right off the bat the environment and vibe of the place is very nice and modern. Service was prompt, efficient and server was friendly. We did HH sliders and they were phenomenal, besides that, surprised by how many wings a single order has and how delicious they were. If you love dogs, you’ll find the decoration art to be top notch. Recommend!

I love the selection for vegetarians. Just about everything has a plant based alternative. I also like that they are one of the few places in Minnesota not charging the suspicious “health and wellness” fee. Other places just need to be transparent and adjust their prices.

We drove 40 minutes on icy roads for our Christmas Eve dinner. When we got there at 6:55 for our 7:00 reservation there was a handwritten sign on the door that said they closed at 6:00. So mad!!!

Well,… My fiancée walked in with Boba tea, and the host didn’t even mention their policy but the server had no problem, reaching across the table, grabbing her tea and throwing it out and letting us know there were no outside drinks. We wouldve just finished it outside…We decided not to drink after that, so unfortunately, we can’t tell you how good their alcohol selection was but their food was okay shout out to the cheese curds.

Great selection of vegetarian food, a lot of drinks to choose from. I liked my Free Play beer with tangerine and mango and my gf liked her cocktail. Had a vegetarian burger and a regular burger. They were great! The server was helpful and had good recommendations and he was good at keeping up with us. The dog pictures on the wall are awesome. We’ll definitely go back.

During this trip out for dinner and drinks with a buddy, we got an unexpected visitor at our table (Stuart Little). When we informed the server about the friendly, healthy looking mouse, she wasn’t even shocked and acknowledged they had not one but “a few” they’d been working on getting rid of. When we informed her that we wouldn’t be eating there, she brought us the receipt for our drink (in my opinion, the $11 should have been comped) and sent us on our way. I’d been to this location before, and the experience was much different, hence the 2-star vs. 1-star rating. It shouldn’t be OK to have mice openly wondering around your dining room area where you’re serving food!

Our server was great. The servings were very hearty, so great for a group with big appetites. Loved the Brussel sprouts! Appreciated the option of vegan cheese. Would like to see some noise reduction. It was hard to talk.

Stray Dog is very impressive for it's vegetarian and vegan options, as well as an extensive beer list. Both beer lovers at our table were very happy. The restaurant is an amazing space with an artsy ambiance and fun dog prints on the walls. Service was fine, and the food was ok but none of our entrees seemed very inspired. If you are looking to please beer lovers and a vegetarian and carnivorous crowd, this is a good place to go.

We went as it was recommended to us as a vegetarian friendly menu which was dead on - options were generous! Our server, Drew was great; attentive, friendly and accurate! We were the oldest patrons in the joint by at least 20 years so it was a bit loud for us, but not intolerable.
