   Food was good. Place was busy but service still decent and the dessert was good. Like that you can take popcorn, snacks, etc when you leave.

   The desert left a lot to be desired. I wanted a white cupcake. It was dry and tasted like day 3 that I throw out if not eaten. Gave it to one other guest to try and they said, oh it’s stale Other guest I brought went up and got a chocolate cupcake because of what we said about the white. These people were my guests. He came back and as soon as he bit into it said, well this certainly isn’t any better. My wife would toss these. For the price I expect better.

   We enjoy Studio 99 before Oilers games but a bit disappointing that they opened it up to add more capacity for the playoffs - way too many people making it very loud and much busier than usual (profit driven vs experience). Still far too expensive. Buffet price should be around $30-$40/person and I hear is no reason for drinks (alcohol and non-alcoholic) to be so expensive. It’s honestly robbery.

    Not sure the process of seating but we were seated outside of studio 99 at a low 4 person tables. When I questioned the reservation as my reservation stated high top table. One of the hostesses mouthed “o my god” plus rolled her eyes to her male coworker. Don’t think she realized we seen. Very unprofessional. We were told it’s due to the time we booked our table which may be the case but found the way we were treated very disrespectful.

    What a disappointing first (and last) visit. We made a reservation for 4 people at 6:15 for the night of the Shania Twain concert. And hour and 15 minutes before the concert started. We arrived 5 minutes early and were warmly greeted and sat right away. The restaurant at this point was nearly empty. No more than a dozen tables at this point I’m sure. 20 minutes later, we still have not been greeted. The table beside us sat down and within 5 minutes the server was at their table. Finally, she came over and greeted us. We got our drinks quickly and then were told she’d “be right back”. 20 minutes later. No server. My friend and I gave our other friends our order and went down to the main concourse and lined up to get the group Merch. We had stood in line, got our Merch and paid before the server finally came to take the food order (I was texting our friends back at the table while we were gone). She obviously forgot that we hadn’t ordered food yet as she approached the table and asked if were ‘doing ok’ at which point my friends told her that we’d like to order some food. Again, food arrived quickly but we had no napkins, and 1 set of cutlery between 4 people. The best way to describe the food? Meh. Across the board. For something as costly as this place, we had higher expectations. It’s a shame cause we were all very excited to experience it. It’s a treat we don’t ever get to take advantage of and we won’t be wasting our hard earned money on this disappointing experience again. Side note: whoever decided it was acceptable to charge $27 for a ‘souvineer cup’ that ended up being a clear plastic plain cup with a sticker on it???? Just pitiful.

    Studio 99 is an experience that any Oilers and/or Gretzky fan needs to experience. The food is fantastic and service is fast. Take some time to check out all of the Great Ones’ memorabilia. Soak it in. There’s a ton of history in the restaurant. Pro tip - Grab a couple bags of popcorn on your way out and pop a couple cookies in there while you’re at it. Oh! Kids 13 and under are only $25 for dinner. Worth it! Plus, you can get in to Rogers Place ahead of the masses if you have a reservation.

    We love this place! It’s the best way to start a hockey game. Gets you into the vibe and they have amazing food. The supervisor Jordan is so so wonderful. She has been so nice and accommodating. She truly has been an amazing part of this whole experience for us. Thank you Jordan❣️

    Very convenient location for dining before the Oiler game. The buffet has good options, and the desert bar is always a hit. Do not forget to fill your bag of munchies bag before you head to your seats.

    Hello, We found the buffet price to be a bit much for what was available. There were dishes that were empty when we came through and told the wait would be too long for us to stay standing there. In addition the studio was freezing cold. We were given a 2 person table against the far back wall which also had a stiff cold breeze blowing directly down. The actually table itself, white in colour, was very cold to the touch. This does not make for a comfortable dining experience. Thankfully Val our server was able to relocate us however the studio was still far too cold for our liking, i would guess it was about 18 degrees inside. We are not sure if we would return or not. The live broadcast a was also not audible from the far end of the restaurant, which would have been nice to hear. I have stated I would not recommend to a friend for the above reasons as i do not think the value is there. Thank you

    The decor and atmosphere in Studio 99 was great. The only real issue I had was the price of the buffet for what was available for food. For 55 bucks I expected more meat options. The food that I did eat was enjoyable. Plus charging over $7 for a pop is honestly price gouging after already paying $55 for a plate. Not sure if I will be back.

    Really enjoyed our experience. Love that you can take snacks to your seat with you. Was disappointed that there was no seafood as lots of the pictures on the website had seafood. Our server Maaike was awesome. So friendly and quick on refilling our drinks and clearing our plates.

    Worth the money to avoid the lines. Almost felt VIP just walking from dinner straight to our seats. Food was solid, and beer was expensive ad you could expect. Poor signage, had to ask several people where to go.
