We had an amazing dinner last night at Su! The service, sushi and ambiance were all incredible! We are already looking forward to our next meal with Chef Alex and our wonderful server Jose!

We showed up before they had opened but they were kind and let us in out of the cold. Our waiter Jose was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was outstanding. We tried shrimp stuffed hatch chile tempura (delicious), several rolls, a La carte sushi and a few cocktails. Terrific. The space is also lovely. We are looking forward to returning.

This was our fourth time dining at Su Sushi. Each time we’ve been, it’s been fantastic. The service is exceptional and the food is excellent. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet sushi restaurant, with great food and even better service, look no further. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful restaurant, wonderful service. Food was not good and was not worth the money. We did the omakase and it was only 3 courses instead of the typical 10-20. The courses were larger than a normal omakase- the fried fish amuse Bouche was weird. The hamachi dish was very basic and fishy tasting - not fresh. The second course was a trout which was good the flavors consistency were good. The third course was baked scallop that looked like a baked potato it full of mayonnaise rice and small scallops. I would never order this in a restaurant or expect to be served this in an omakase. I would not return unless they seriously stepped up the cuisine. There is really good sushi in Santa Fe for a fraction of the cost.

A terrific experience. Lovely ambience of El Nido. The chef & sous chef working their wonders in full view. Superb wait staff (that's you, José). Superb sushi creatively prepared and presented. Four stars for value because it's pricey, but worth every penny.

Was our first time at Su Sushi. Was as special occasion and our party included a 7 year old. She had her own questions of the wait staff and was treated with respect. It was a perfect setting and menu for our family gathering. The menu was broad enough to include some cooked options for those in our party that do not eat raw fish. The tempura special of the evening was really wonderful - shrimp-stuffed green chili - as was the first course gift from the chef. A lovely evening and I look forward to a return visit.

Chef Alex and Michael are great! Super service from José. So enjoyable to sit up at the sushi bar and see the creative process. Very welcoming and happy place to enjoy great preparation and care. By the way the tempura green chile shrimp app was beyond good! See you again soon! 🚀👊😎

This is a great example of Staff and Ownership collaborating successfully to deliver Great Fresh food in a delightful setting and very smart professional service. Went to SU at El Nido a year ago when Chef Masayuki Hattori was the chef. The food was excellent. I ordered the omakase and the food was plentiful and very flavorful. Everything the served was perfect and I left stuffed and happy. Unfortunately a year later they have a new chef and the quality is good. But the food lacked in flavor and the portions are tiny. We paid $75 for the omakase and left hungry. Sorry to say they didn't not retain the quality and portions were too small to justify every going back.

Had a great time. Easily the best Sushi in Santa Fe County and all because Alex Gaytan is behind the knife. Masa-San was an inspiration and we all miss him and miss Jade but Alex, Jose and the new GM at El Nido are kicking it up and it is so great to see and enjoy. My Omakase was perfect. Sake flights were perfect. It’s never inexpensive. Worth every dollar. Thank you again Chef Alex! It was great meeting back up since our last time when both of us were 15 years younger at Masa’s place. See you again soon! Sr. Jacobo

Undoubtedly the best sushi available in all of New Mexico. According to the owner, the menu is selected based on what arrives that day. They receive their fish from Honolulu or Japan daily. We selected the three course menu and we're very pleased with what came. The Sake selection is outstanding. The service was very attentive, friendly, and on the spot. If you don't mind not being attached to a specific dish or plate and enjoy a little culinary adventure, this is a perfect place to try new sushi, sashimi, and nagiri options.

Great sushi dinner. We got 3 nigiris and 2 rolls and it was perfect for two. The decor is gorgeous. There’s a unique energy in the restaurant. The sushi is very fresh and the rolls are very original and on point. This will be our go-to sushi spot in Santa Fe.

The SuSushi room at El Nido is very nice with spread out tables and a small bar with stools. The food selection is good but limited. The flavors and presentations are outstanding. The service was over the top. The only mild negative is the noise level in the room-it was a bit loud from all the conversations. We will be going back very soon!

Having lived in Tesuque since 1986 we are so happy to have Su Sushi in the “hood”. The sushi was excellent and Chefs Alex and Marco were wonderful. Can’t wait to check out Taco Tuesday at Su!!!

The space for SU is intimate yet inviting. We had a lovely experience from beginning to end. The high quality of sushi-grade fish is evident in every single dish. The service was superb from the hostess to the server to the chef. We will be back very soon!
