    Home run of a restaurant! Phenomenal service from our very knowledgeable waiter Logan, great cocktails and the steaks were phenomenal. Kitchen turned out the apps fast and the steaks in a timely fashion as well. Overall we would 100% go again if we find ourselves in Omaha again.

    The aged NY strip steak was one of the best steaks I have had the pleasure to eat. The cheesesteak eggroll appetizer is excellent! Our waitress Susan was very friendly, helpful, efficient and attentive throughout our whole meal. Terrific service!

    We went after a show at the Orpheum. Close by and convenient. One exception is the street in front is closed so parking is an issue. Also no one seems to know what the Omaha rules are so we park and take our chances. They had a nice table ready for us and our waitress (Chloe) was outstanding and attentive to our needs. We had a wedge salad and lobster bisque prior to the main course. The staff acted as a team and when we had a need someone would take care of it. I had a rack of lamb, done perfectly and very tasty. My wife had a ribeye and it was “wonderful”. Sort of pricey. We spent $200 for meal and drinks but my wife’s favorite spot in downtown after a show.

    Great food and service. Highly recommend getting reservations ahead of time especially if there is an event or show that evening. This was a bit more in cost than anticipated but still a very enjoyable meal and experience.

    Our dishes were great. We both had the filet mignon, each steak was beautiful and cooked perfectly. Lobster Au Gratin potatoes were amazing.

    Waiter wasn’t familiar with the drinks on the cocktail menu. When we ordered a white chocolate almond martini, he said he didn’t think that was on the menu and he’d have to check with the bartender. When we explained it was, he said ‘well it must be a seasonal item’. When asked if the mashed potatoes had skins or not, the waiter replied ‘no’, when in fact they did. Would have been better to admit didn’t know and check with the kitchen versus bringing out potatoes with skins. Dessert texture (cheesecake) was a bit off, like been in the fridge or freezer too long. Wasn’t creamy, rather tough for a creamy dessert.

    I’ve previously visited many Sullivans around the country, including this one and this was my first disappointing experience. The food was excellent and my wait person (Chelsea) was so pleasant and professional. But apparently they way overbooked resulting a huge crowd in the lobby and bar waiting for profoundly delayed reservations. My delay was 75 minutes past my reservation in a short staffed bar where I was finally able to buy one drink.

    Wife and I went on Thanksgiving day. It was packed and took us a little while to get a table past our 5p reservation time. Yet everyone instead of being stressed were friendly and nice. Food was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. We will definitely go back.

    Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait nearly an hour to be seated. Most of the food was luke-warm. Our server took nearly 20 minutes before bringing the dessert.

    We had a reservation yesterday for Thanksgiving. Although we had to wait about an hour beyond our reservation time to be seated, the food and service more than made up for the wait. They even served us appetizer samples while we waited! I highly recommend this restaurant.

    The experience was great and felt the restaurant did the best they could for the volume they had on Thanksgiving day. Although many that dine out on Holidays should really stay home and complain to their families but the restaurant is not responsible for these types of customers. We felt the waitstaff did a great job and kept up the best they could. Thank you for providing a nice dinner on this special day! We will be back.

    Sorry, Sullivan's. You were having a bad day; you took too many reservations, and not enough wait staff showed up. It happens, but please be sure to apologize and refrain from yelling at your paying customers next time. Your bar had people seated in it, a few even with drinks. No one walking into your restaurant, checking in with the required Open Table reservation, and glancing in the bar would realize that until you try to enter the bar when the young woman who just checked you in yells at you, "The Bar is closed!" Sorry, Sullivan's, you gave us no clue. How about a SIGN telling EVERYONE that the bar is CLOSED? Then, after we stood in the crowded entryway and waited over an hour past our scheduled reservation, you began letting people in the bar so they could at least be seated for their hour++++ wait. Some people are noting that they were served appetizers while they waited. It must have happened AFTER the hour-long wait in your entryway past our reservation time. After an hour, the hostess assured us we would be the next party seated. Five minutes later, she seated a couple that had not been waiting as long as we had but had complained loudly and vehemently about wanting to see the manager. When I questioned the hostess, she said she couldn't seat us because our party was MUCH larger. You knew exactly how many were in our party when you said we would be seated next. You just seated a party of two ahead of us, a party of three, and for the record, three is NOT much larger than two. Food was served lukewarm, but we were too hungry to wait for them to reheat it. Open Table wants me to keep this short, simple, and specific. This review is simple and specific, but Open Table, you need to know the restaurant you support has too many issues to keep this review short.

    Our 3 hour experience started, by whom I guess to be the manager, when he tried to seat us at a booth table for 4 when there were 5 people on the reservation. He told us our reservation was for 4 and we would just have to be okay with what he gave us. Their mistake and they moved us to another table. We sat for over 25 minutes with just water until the waitress came to the table. The service did not improve and it wasn’t just our table that was just sitting waiting for food and drinks. Our waitress seemed unable to grasp that we had an gluten allergy that needed special attention. So for $398 we had their pre-set Thanksgiving menu that was a high price for a sub-standard meal. The food wasn’t hot and overall it was some of the worst service we had ever experienced. When we were leaving there had to be over 30 people waiting to be seated…and there were empty tables that needed to be bussed. Will never come back or recommend Sullivan’s Steakhouse to anyone.

    We received our entrees 85 minutes after our party of six was seated (12:00 reservation, last person arrived at 12:10; entrees received between 1:35 and 1:40. Servers seemed to be working hard; I blame the kitchen staff. Food was excellent. At least one person in our group of six was given the wrong dessert. Open Table profile as recently as yesterday indicated valet parking was available. There was no valet parking because the road directly in front of the restaurant is closed. This was a bit awkward since one person in our group is in a wheelchair. If I has known there was no valet parking I would not have made the reservation. Based on the very poor service level and lack of accuracy in the Open Table profile (which the manager indicated he would change), neither my wife or I will dine there again.

    Very welcoming from the entire staff. We had the Thanksgiving menu, the lobster and shrimp bisque was very flavorful, the turkey was moist with a unique sausage dressing. The cheese cake was deliciously dense.

    We had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Since this is a steakhouse, we should have opted for it. Highlights, lobster bisque, desert, wedge salad (best ever eaten). Garlic mashed potatoes and awesome gravy. Lowlights, turkey crumbled apart. Not sure if it was that dry or it processed (we ate before noon, so it should have been fairly fresh). Stuffing was slimey. Cranberry sauce looked beautiful, but it was so bitter. I love Sullivan's, love the ambiance and seriously the wedge salad. I really hate to be so honest.

    Overall, we had a wonderful experience! We ordered a wagyu, which turned out to be over cooked, and the waitress took back all our dishes to be recooked without being asked. They also celebrated our special event with decorations, a photo, and a free dessert. My only complaint is the wagyu itself — it was prepared like a standard steak, so it did not melt in your mouth or taste like it should. If you’re looking for a Japanese-style wagyu, this isn’t it.

    Went out for belayed birthdays, ended up getting the desserts (chocolate cake and key lime pie) comped which was awesome! Dry aged steak was also pretty good with the side of mashed potato’s. Our group of 4 seemed to enjoy the outing just a little pricey for a steakhouse it wasn’t all that bad.

    Excellent service and atmosphere. The Wagu steak was exceptional, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The only downside to our dinner was the lobster mac and cheese. It was dry and flavorless- although it did have a generous amount of lobster for a side dish. The beet salad was great. The chocolate desert was decadent. All in all a pretty good steakhouse.

    We went for our anniversary, and the staff made sure we were well-taken care of. It was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, but I ordered my dinner rare and should’ve ordered it medium rare. It was my mistake, not the mistake of the restaurant. Great time.

    Restaurante sobrevalorado. Vinos cuestan doble que en Capital Grill o similares. Camareros “pesados” , han traído varías veses la cuenta Din pedir , ni terminar de comer. Menu regular, no hay cream spinach. Calidad carne buena. No recomiendo.

    Seated promptly. Acknowledged our celebration reason for the reservation. Knowledgeable waiter. Wedge salad was best we have had.     Service was courteous, helpful and attentive. Ordered 2-6 Oz fillets for dinner. They were sooooo charred on the outside. Sure the interior color was good but eating through the black crust on the outside was so unappealing it was difficult to eat. One off the fillets had an off flavor. The cost for a tangueray and tonic was $18! Way overpriced. We will not eat there again.

    We went to Sullivan's last night for my son's birthday, as we have done for many special occasions for many years. Last night we where set very quickly as always with a reservation. We sat very a while, not a big deal but slower then normal, the waitress was training a co worker, again no big deal. After ordering drinks and appetizers we did not see the waitress for around 25-30 mins, of the 4 of us, 3 had empty glasses for half that time, not worth getting working over but not the standard for this restaurant. We placed our food order, again out of drinks long before the waitress returned, in fact I had to flag her down and ask for drinks, then 5-10 minutes later the bar tender came to grab us drinks because our duo of servers didn't have time. Our meals arrived, obviously the reason you go to Sullivan's is for the steaks, we had a bone in ribeye, a standard ribeye and a fillet. all the steaks had so much charring on them that they where tough and tasted slightly burnt. I know what the cost will be before we go that's expected, but at this point with the serviced we received the below average food there needs to be some changes before we return. I have always referred Sullivan's to friends and family and unfortunately I will not be doing this at this time. I hope they return to the quality and enjoyable experience it once was.

    We have not treated ourselves to a steak dinner for our wedding anniversary and chose Sullivan Restaurant by reputation. Amazing service and the steaks we chose were done to perfection. Every thing was excellent. Our server amazing. Every staff person we came into contact with were super friendly and courteous. Definitely will go again but may try other items on the menu.

    I’ve been to Sullivans in Omaha before during the lunch hour for their burger and fries deal. This was our first experience during dinner. We set our reservation for 5:30 PM as we had an event that we needed to attend in Downtown Omaha at 7:30 PM, figuring 2 hours would be plenty of time to enjoy dinner and the show. When seated there were probably 2 other tables with patrons being served (this is a key piece of information). The waitress asked if it was a special occasion, we shared we had a show at 7:30 PM. Her immediate response was “oh you’ll have plenty of time” to make it. We started with smoked old fashioned’s from the menu but weren’t smoked as described. We ordered our starters (salads) by 5:40 PM and entrees by 5:50 PM. 3 of the 4 ordered steaks and all were not as desired. My wife and I ordered 2 filets cooked to medium and our friend ordered a T-bone cooked medium well. All the steaks came out as medium rare versus the desired temps. My wife and I ate ours as we didn’t want to send it back due to time. Our friend couldn’t stomach a medium rare steak so sent it back twice for it to arrive the last time maybe at medium and tough. He elected to just eat it due to time. The best thing we had all night were our salads at a steakhouse. In parallel, our friend ordered another OF that took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. He asked the waitress to just cancel the order, which she stated she would and still bring him the cocktail for the delay but were charged anyway. We ordered a key lime pie, cheesecake, and 2 banana foster bread puddings for dessert. It is now 7:00 PM and we are getting worried about making our event on time. We brought this to the waitress’s attention, who during this entire experience apologized profusely about the lackluster service.
