Beautiful environment. Service from Michael was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious.
beautiful ambience, waitress was very friendly, food was good
Great experience. Our waitress was very thoughtful and brought us a special treat from the Sunday buffet
Amazing grounds and great food. Brunch Service was very good. We will go back.
The brunch was terrific. The food selection was very good and delicious. But the best part is the ambiance of dining in the garden. So beautiful and peaceful.
Love this place. It’s expensive for brunch but great for special occasions. My one critique is that an automatic 20% server tip for a buffet is obnoxious. I don’t mind an automatic tip but for buffets it should be 15-17% with an option to add more if the service warrants more.
Best brunch in palm beach! Such a a great selection, beautiful outdoor tropical environment to eat drink and enjoy a Sunday brunch. From classic breakfast brunch options like omelettes, French toast and pancakes, tk truffle fried chicken, conch fritters, seafood bar to the dessert station with omelette bar. All you can drink mimosas, bloody Mary’s, Bellinis coffee and more. A must do for weekend brunches !!
Recommend to friends
Everything about this place is excellent
We had a great time at Sundy House. Our server, Bridget was a true pro and did a fantastic job. We got the tuna tartare, escargot, blackened mahi-mahi, bouillabaisse, key lime pie, and creme brûlée, all of which were very solid. The mahi was probably the best of the bunch. It’s a shame you can’t reserve tables outside other than the gazebos that you have to pay extra for, as the outdoor area is gorgeous, but the front of house staff was still able to get us a table that was more or less outdoors. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Delray!
We were very disappointed first time at restaurant, very limited menu and some items on menu they did not have . The food is lousy my husband got sick with the crab cakes , very pricey restaurant. Will not go back . Spoke to management she told us menu was pre COVID 19 . They will have a new menu soon …. Too late for us .
The lovliest setting in all Delray. The perfect place to impress visitors or for special occasions !
We have Berlin coming here for years, came to check out the Saturday brunch. Don’t bother, high prices and the food quality is better at Denny’s. While it’s a beautiful restaurant outdoors, it needs some refinishing!
Unfortunately our service was not what I’ve experienced in the past. We constantly had to flag down our waitress and she actually made us make our mimosas. I made reservations and was seated an hour late and was in a back corner where I feel like we were forgotten about. I have always had great experiences at the Sundy house but my last visit was disappointing.
We were there for Saturday brunch Food was excellent and service attentive but not hovering The unlimited mimosas was a great deal and they keep filling your glass until you say no mas
Solid food. Eggs Benedict avocado toast blueberry pancakes bottomless drinks. Beautiful setting. Exceptional service.
Service was just OK. Food as well. Sides came out cold. Steak and scallops were great. We were not told there was a private party when we reserved our table. Half the place was off limits.
Beautiful and unique. Fantastic drinks. Wonderful apps. A few entrees weren’t a favorite.
Lovely place to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary. Good food, too
Sunday House is one of my all time favourites both for cuisine and ambiance. Our server/bartender Michael went out of his way to make our experience fun and memorable . An experience to remember. Thank you Michael for making us feel so special!!!
A beautiful setting, like a jungle garden, the scallops were great, shrimp pasta also good, key lime pie wonderful. Specialty cocktails fun. A little oasis to hide from craziness on Atlantic Ave.
Fantastic time celebrating our daughter’s graduation. Excellent food and service!
Horrible food, horrible service and in need for major renovation. Bathroom was dirty and looked like it had water damage on the walls. This use to be a great restaurant but has gone downhill. I would not recommend it.
Lovely spot for brunch on a Saturday.
Know there will be changes made with new ownership.
One subtle suggestion is to update and maintain cleanliness in the ladies room!
Will definitely come again
Tô start the Passion fruit mojito was outstanding so the Martini with orange liquor and Tito's vodka. While we waited for the food pretzel bread was brought to the table and it was freshly baked and delicious, a tuna tartare was our appetizer also very fresh sushi quality and easily could have been my only meal. My girlfriend was impressed with her 8 ounce baby filet, soft, thick and very tasty cooked medium perfectly. I had the Scallops on risotto with broccoli and sparagus could not be better. Don't miss this jewel historic restaurant.
There for a birthday dinner indoors, we were basically the only ones indoors. Still nice but felt like it was a private party.
What a beautiful atmosphere! We were seated outside in a lush tree-filled garden and could hear a waterfall behind us as we ate. The menu selections were eclectic with great flavor combinations. We all loved our appetizers and salads. The blackened Mahi on a bed of butternut squash was delicious and the seared scallops with brocollini risotto was very savory, cooked to perfection. We walked from nearby parking but Sundy has a valet on site. We will definitely go back!
Marvelous venue for an anniversary dinner. Outside venue was perfect, with the sights and sounds of a pond garden and a beautiful sunset.
This place has been my favorite brunch spot and I always had a great experience. Unfortunately, things changed tremendously in the past year. I brought my mom in and a friend for a birthday celebration and I was embarrassed. Took the waiter 15 minutes to even stop by. Asked for a glass of orange juice 4 times, and never received it! No more omelette station or French toast. All food items were stale, reheated and plainly disgusting tasting. Coffee was brought in barely warm. Asked for a refill and a creamer and never received either one. Our meal was horrible! I will never be back unless things change. The waiter never mentioned our birthdays and had a nerve to charge us 20% tip automatically!! That particular waiter deserved zero tip. I would have argued about this, but I didn’t want to cause anymore embarrassment for my mother. I hope the owner reads this review.
We arrived on time for our reservation and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. They tried to place us at a table where three of our party of four would be in direct sunlight and squashed next to two other tables . We asked for another table and they said they were clear I g some and it would be a few minutes. After 5 minutes I went back to be told they were still clearing and they would get back to us. Another 5 minutes and the story was the same. After a further 5 minutes one of our friends asked also what was happening and after no satisfactory explanation asked for the manager, twice by eventually the manager came and gave a perfunctory apology and found us a table in the gardens. There must have been a least 6 empty tables so why we waited I have no idea. They offered us nothing for the inconvenience .
Sunday is only a brunch and to say the food was a disappointment was an understatement. There was little choice and it was poorly laid out and unappetizing. The prime rib was ice cold! For $75 a head there are plenty of better options in Delray. While the garden setting is beautiful for that poor experience I would not recommend and shall not be returning any tome soon.
Sunday Brunch is very special at the Sundy House! The food selections were great and the atmosphere for a brunch cannot be beat!
The staff was incredible. Decent bang for your buck considering a brunch buffet. A little too quiet for my taste. More of a place you go to clear your head and enjoy a meal on a Sunday morning. Can't knock it. If you like a quiet dining experience this is for you. If you prefer more of a lively brunch you'll still get good value, but this isn't the setting.
A tropical delight, you'd never know you're in the city. A peaceful paradise with koi ponds, mini waterfalls, mature trees for shade. The brunch spread was extensive and amazing. Very clean. Mostly buffet (with some made-to-order foods such as omelts), gloves were provided to pick up serving spoons/tongs, masks required while in buffet line, and plexiglass to protect food. Highly recommend!
Fabulous ambiance. Great attentive service. Food is acceptable but overpriced for quality and quantity. Presentation could be more imaginative. I would definitely go back to try this restaurant a second time if the menu or presentation changes.
The food and the service was excellent. No better place to spend a special evening
The food was very ordinary for the value and allure of the restaurant. The menu was very limited, so I thought every dish would be excellent. That was not the case with the dishes I ordered.
Beautiful grounds but service is very slow. Sundy House is not providing customers with fast efficient service. I have been there twice in one month and same situation. Appetizers came out before drinks, wait servers not very attentive. Sundy House is losing money. We could have had 3 rounds of drinks if asked if we wanted them.
I thought my second visit would have been better.
On a positive note, good food and beautiful ambiance. Please improve your service and then I will be back!
Really not a great experience. Wish I could say better. Pretty place. Service was not good at all. Brought the check with him before we were asked for desert. Felt like if I wanted desert it would have been a bother.
