Went to Sunset Bistro last night with my three sisters for dinner. We loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. There was music playing in the background softly that was lovely. We could still here each other talk. The bistro was very clean as well with an open window where you could see the chef preparing meals. Our server was wonderful and very pleasant. We all enjoyed our meals. The bruschetta bread we had for a starter was excellent. We had the mushroom ravioli, fish and chips and also the lobster and shrimp seafood meal. It was a smaller lobster tail which we expected with a few shrimp, mashed potatoes and vegetables. All delicious! Would definitely go back to this restaurant and order the meals again. I also liked that I had the choice of a small or a larger salad. I order the house salad which was very good. Glad we tried the restaurant and can’t wait to go back.

Amazing food - three of us had the seafood linguini cooked to perfection. One had the special rack of lamb and loved it. Our server Jasmina was especially attentative without being intrusive. We will definately be back.

Friendly and fast service. Went for weekend brunch with family. Food was delicious, served at perfect temperature. Even my 3 year old grandson enjoyed his French toast

The food was delicious and at a good price point. Ambience - lights could be dimmer. Service was great. Only down side. I ordered a glass of J.lohr (price wasn't on menu, server offered glass when I saw they had by the bottle) When bill came it was $22 for a glass, I was shocked almost the price of a bottle at LCBO cost as much as my entre.

Beautiful sunny exposure and lake views as well. Roxanna provided great service and the kitchen crew delivered wonderful lunch plates. Highly recommend

From the moment we stepped in the door it was a pleasant experience. Friendly greeting. Seated right away at a nice table by the window. Our server was very friendly and answered any questions we had. She checked on us throughout the meal. Food was great. Lots to choose from on the menu. All four of us enjoyed it. It was our first time here and we will be back. It was very good and we highly recommend!

The food was amazing...don't get it twisted folks this is NOT just a brunch place. The pasta was amazing, Cesar salad delicious, and the cheesecake ...yum! Roxanne was very attentive, and you could tell she loves her job and the food she serves!!! The only way you will be disappointed is if you show up at 2pm looking for a breakfast place. My advice? Stay and have an amazing lunch!

Excellent food, service and ambience. We started with the best bruschetta I think I’ve ever had and an excellent pasta dish. The server was welcoming and funny. The restaurant was very quiet. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. In terms of suggestions for improvement, I would say the selection of wines could use some refinements but we were happy with our choice.

Ordered one of the eggs Benedict dishes. Requested for hard eggs. Had to send the dish back twice because the eggs were cooked medium, twice. They said they’ll give us discount and all we got were 3 bucks off. This is how businesses lose customers. In my opinion (and from experience at other restaurants), restaurants should not charge for the dish, specially if they got the order wrong twice. Want to add the hostess was nice and did a good job.

We had another lovely meal. I want to say our server was Robyn, who was wonderful. I am terrible with names. Great menu choices for everyone. Beautiful ambiance. Best minestrone I've ever had. Thank you.

Welcome was fine. Service was slow, especially since our group was only 1 of 2 being served at the time of our reservation. One breakfast order was not provided as asked for: the eggs benedict with 3 meats - patron asked for only sausage but order came with all 3 types. Patron chose to scrape off meat that was not wanted rather than to send back, as our group had a full day planned and we didn't want any delay. Otherwise, taste of food was adequate. Birthday treat was a nice surprise. Providing the bill was also slow.

the service was excellent. the soup, salad, and dessert were excellent. The veal parmesan coating, cheese, and sauce were excellent but the veal itself was a little dried out but still good. the 1/2 price wine was a nice surprise. will likely visit again.

Wonderful experience. The party we were meeting ended up arriving late. No problem altering our reservation. Served us drinks on the patio while we waited for the rest of our group. Service was excellent, shared appetizer and special of the day dinner was delicious and great value. All around great experience and would definitely recommend.

Parking is always an issue in Downtown Burlington, however the building the restaurant is in, Baxter, had paid parking $5 I believe for the evening. There is also parking across the street from the restaurant.

The food was super yummy, fresh seafood and their wine list was well picked. We went on a Wednesday where they featured half price bottles, the service was good and our waitress was lovely. The food itself wasn’t too expensive but not a low cost meal, we split an appetizer, a half priced wine bottle and all got a main for $55 tax/tip in each. Unfortunately she was the only one working and there was a walk in of 15 and 7, so we didn’t see her too much as the end of the meal, but this is a comment on the management not our awesome server. Cute local spot, would go again to try the rest of the menu!

Went at good quiet time 3pm Sunday. Very quiet so we could talk as hadn't seen each other in 4 years. Food was great. Only complaint it was luke warm. Both orders. And we were the only ones in there. We told the server. Hopefully she passed it on. She picked up order from window as soon as ready. As I saw her. So problem is with kitchen. Simple solution. Use infrared lights and heated plates. Was a shame that was an issue.

Booked a table for 9 to 12 people for 9AM Was all ready for us and the waitress was excelllent with a lovely personality Food was very good tasting ..hot...and reasonably priced I am eating whole food plany based and reataurant was accomodating to this...bowl of fresh fruit...whole wheat toast peanut butter and some roasted potatoes I highly recommend this restaurant for an early morning group meal...

Great food and service was fantastic! Max made sure I got my lunch quickly as I was in a hurry. Lots of leftover and when the chef saw me carrying three to go boxes, he asked if I wanted a bag.

The service and food was great. We arrived at 2pm on Sunday sat outside. The traffic was a bit noisy. Inside is beautiful. We had ceasar salads and different pasta dishes. Everything was delicious. Our server was so nice and very attentive. Will definitely go again and recommend to friends.

Service: The service could have been faster in offering water; the restaurant wasn't even busy. This is the slowest service I've ever experienced for brunch, especially considering that the restaurant was basically empty. I had to go up and ask if our food was ready because we waited for such a long time. Additionally, no one came by to refill our water; we had to ask for it. Food: The food was average; it didn't really impress me as the ratings were high. Personally, I wouldn't go back. I'm disappointed with my experience, especially considering the high ratings of this place.
