No bell peppers with the fajita skirt steak that was served only with a few onions. Worst fajitas I’ve had. Skirt steak very greasy. Ordered a second beer. It never arrived. While they may be short-staffed, our waiter appeared to be preoccupied by others. Have been going for years, but it’s declined dramatically in last several months.

Food was pretty good. I've been going for decades now and always order the same thing. The food, ambience etc were fine , but the service really sucked. Probably the worst I've ever experienced there. Our waitress was very polite but we never saw here. It felt we got over locked. There for nearly 2 hours never once asked if we could get a refill. When our food arrived we got the check and to go boxes. Didn't want to risk another 30 mins waiting for the check

Our waiter was great! Very attentive. The food quality has gone down. I get times are rough and the price of food had increased but things aren’t great at superior anymore. The shrimp enchiladas literally had one shrimp diced up per tortilla. Not right superior.

Prices have definitely gone up which I understand, but the quality of food has gone down. Also, the frozen margarita tasted watered down. Never had that experience here before.

Stay away on Cinco de Mayo. Got seated for our 9 pm reservation at 9:45. Waiter was apathetic. Waited over 30 minutes for food to come out and it was cold.

I made a reservation for 6:30 for my party of 6 ladies. We had to wait 35 minutes. We weren’t seated until a little after 7pm. Next, our waitress claimed that the fans above us & the A/C didn’t work. We sweated our whole meal. The food was good as always but the waiting & the up charge on the shots & margaritas was ridiculous. We’ve been there before & never had to pay what we paid.

Went here for some food and drinks before my flight, It happened to be the worst experience ever! We was seated and it took 30 minutes to get a cup of water. I asked for lemons with my water never got it…. So much confusion…. Our waiter was the worst server I’ve ever had, it was a sh*t show so we left …. However, I went to chic fi la after and got incredible service!!

Waiter was new and extremely nervous. Order was not put in for Queso. It arrived with meal. Food was Luke warm. Crawfish enchiladas were not edible. Burger was hard and likely a frozen patty. Burger was ordered medium and was overcooked. Shrimp quesadilla was good, probably the best dish out party ordered.

Consistently delicious. The chips are hot, fresh, thin and crispy. Salsa and queso are yummy. Steak is flavorful and the marinade is wonderfully sweet. Try the Tortilla soup- it’s one of my favorites. Sangria margarita is a new go to for me but the top shelf’s hold their own. I crave this place weekly.

My friends were in town from Dallas as we have watched the Super Bowl together since 2009 with only one exception for Covid. We always pick a different restaurant and I’m a huge fan of Superior grill so I knew it would be a great choice for our group. LookI know it’s Mardi Gras, I realize everyone is short staffed, and believe me I know the difficulty of working during carnival season. My issue is not with the service. Our server who I believe was named, Nicholas was wonderful despite having a lot of tables he was pleasant, social, smiling and working very hard during his shift. My issue is strictly with the food. Our friends picked up the tab and I can’t imagine what it was because my beef fajitas was $30 which was ridiculously overpriced for the four small pieces of beef I received that was so cold and so overcooked that it was almost inedible. Even the onions on the platter were ice cold but the surprising thing was there was a raw piece of bell pepper sitting on top of the plate. The beans and rice were cold as well. My friend sitting next to me, got the shrimp tacos and they looked sorely disappointing as did the cheese and onion enchiladas, which just had raw onions shaved on top of cheese enchiladas that were cold, and the cheese barely melted. I’m sure our bill along with margaritas and queso that we had was probably close to $300, that is ridiculous for the quality of food that we were served! We could’ve dined in other restaurants but I’ve been eating at Superior for over 35 years as my friends and I are originally from Shreveport and have such fond memories of fun times over the years. The restaurant only had about 5 tables which only made the situation worse. We couldn’t complain because we never saw a manager and honestly the server was so busy. We weren’t going to bother him. We enjoyed each other‘s company, the queso and margaritas and watching the game together. I was embarrassed I picked up a place where we wasted money on the food.

Margaritas on happy hour are a great value! I had the sangria and it is fantastic! Never skip the queso. The Fajita Steak Tampiquena was cooked to perfection. It’s mesquite grilled marinated skirt steak served with a cheese enchilada. Served with fresh handmade flour tortillas, rice, black beans or tortilla soup, pico de gallo and guacamole. Get the tortilla soup it’s one of the best.

Fun place and delish ! I have a gluten allergy so I needed to find a safe place to eat and this was it ! I had the shrimp & chicken fajitas w corn tortillas and an excellent ranch water ! Yum! Came out sizzling hot ! A bit loud and crowded but it was fun!
