    The food was all delicious and came out at a good time. Loved the ambiance as well. Did not enjoy the end of my experience here, however. I brought my cousin here for her 21st birthday and the server was informed about the special occasion. We had no idea what time the restaurant was closing so I guess that’s something we should’ve been prepared for but when we were ready to order dessert the server told us the kitchen was closed. It would’ve been nice to have been given a heads up so that we can have the opportunity to order something. I work in the industry so I understand the kitchen closing is not in the servers control but giving their guests the opportunity for a last call is something I feel should be a non negotiable. Our servers excuse for this was that she didn’t want to “interrupt our conversation.” Odd. The table next to us overheard this conversation and also had to double check/ask our server if the kitchen was closed so doesn’t look like other tables were informed either. Kind of a bummer and have never experienced that at a restaurant before.

    Service was amazing, cannot fault it. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food overall was fantastic however, as an entree I ordered the shrimp and couscous. This was disappointing as the shrimp were very small and obviously farmed, frozen, not fresh. We have this feedback to the staff, who understood and passed the message on. The atmosphere is beautiful except for the group on the table near us who’s conversation volume was yelling.

    The ambiance is excellent, the drink, appetizers and dessert were good, but entrees fell flat. I’d only recommend if you’re a Vanderpump fan, otherwise I wouldn’t call Sur a must-see spot.

    Went to Sur for brunch. The menu was unoriginal and nothing was impressive. We had the goat cheese balls and the burgers. Both were average and nothing to go crazy about. Was really disappointed with this experience. Staff was nice but our waitress looked like she just rolled out of bed. I had higher expectations and was disappointed. Very overrated

    Service was great and staff was super friendly and helpful. The ambiance is always beautiful so I appreciate that. I just thought the food was pretty mid. I used to come here often and it just didn’t taste as great. None of my friends really liked their food.

    We made a reservation for 5 so we arrived a bit early but were able to check-in and enjoy a drink in the bar area. The restaurant is cozy and just beautiful. Everything from the staff to the food to the water was perfection. I am definitely coming back in the future to try more of the delicious food and cocktails.

    Average restaurant filled with over-enthusiastic tourists. Pretty much what you'd expect I guess. The food was edible, but then you don't go there for the food. There are many restaurants in LA like this one and they are all totally underwhelming. It's a bit dull and not really worth writing about.

    As a longtime VPR fan, it was amazing to experience this gem in real life. Though people usually hate on the food, I found it to be quite enjoyable. The ambiance was amazing, service was on point, and our waiter even brought my table a sparkler to celebrate mine and my best friend’s college graduation. I came from Denver to eat here, and I wouldn’t mind making the trek once more to experience it all again. Plus, we saw Peter! And took a photo with him! A perfect way to close out the night.

    Service was painfully slow but food was excellent- we had the goat cheese fritters, Caprese salad, skirt steak and truffle fries, lasagna and espresso martini, brownie dessert. Beautiful restaurant!

    Sur was a fantastic experience made special by Peter the manager The food and cocktails were amazing Only complaint a guy on the next table was shouting, foul mouthed to his girlfriend and up boxing with his friend I felt uncomfortable and afraid The waitress when we paid thanked us for our patience 😳😳 Something should have been done

    I was celebrating my friend’s birthday and Gabriel was very attentive and checking up on us constantly. I ordered the Paloma on fire and was very refreshing and with a smoky flavour at the end. The food was amazing, Chef Nico never disappoints. The ambiance was great and the food runners were also very pleasant! I definitely come back!

    Overall a beautiful evening at a place my wife has been dying to try, hint not because of the food… From top-to-bottom, the staff and service was phenomenal! The food was just ok. The sope Azteca was smooth and flavorful. The short ribs are what didn’t do it for me. The meat was dry and overcooked and the mole could have used a touch of salt. But if the person to whom you are related by marriage is a fan of reality TV, it was a beautiful restaurant and a great night out.

    This experience was a dream! Not only did we receive such great service, but we were also UPGRADED to the VIP room!🤩 The staff couldn’t have made my friend’s birthday anymore special! Everyone was very accommodating and patient with us. And for that I am forever grateful. My friends, mom was also in town from Louisiana and she is a big fan of Lisa Vanderpump. So this positive experience is forever in bedded in her brain. And I am so glad that she was treated like royalty that night.

    Beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The ribeye and the blackberry cobbler were amazing. Surprisingly not as expensive as one would think. Overall, really good experience.

    Dined at SUR twice now for C U Next Tuesdays - seems like when they are filming VPR it’s bonkers and service can suffer. But last night was a lovely experience even though the vibe was still super energetic while James was on the decks. We had to modify our party size and the hostess took care of the issue within 5 minutes and sat us at a beautiful, intimate table on the front patio. We could see and hear everything in the bar area so it still felt like we were part of the experience but also in our own little world which was exactly what we wanted since it was a birthday celebration. We ordered pumptinis (a must!) and split a few apps - the goat cheese balls, ahi tartare, caprese salad, crab cakes, and whipped eggplant hummus. It was plenty of food for 3 people and came out quickly. All the dishes were executed well, and were a solid 4/5 taste - aside from the goat cheese balls which is a signature dish, the other plates could just use a little kiss of something, perhaps more acid or salt? Service was timely but not intrusive, staff we interacted with were all warm and friendly, and man are those drinks strong. Still feeling it today! After dinner we joined the crowd in the lounge and danced until it was time to head home. It’s a beautiful space and it truly does SURve its name well - a sexy, unique restaurant.

    Had high expectations and unfortunately it didn’t meet them. Food was okay, not great. Menu needs a refresh. Service was very slow and inattentive. Seemed like they didn’t care that we were there. Hostess at the front and the guy at the door were very nice. Restaurant looks very nice. Really disappointed because we were excited to try it out.

    Unless you’re a fan of VPR / Housewives I wouldn’t waste your time. I’m a tan so on that experience it was super cool - especially for See You Next Tuesday. Overall staff was friendly, even when it was super busy. But the food was awful. The burger wasn’t cooked how it was asked and the bun was stale. Wrong fries came out but they fixed them after waiting ten minutes. And besides the margarita (which was good) I got a martini that was not worth the money. Overall, I’ll be back bc I am fan of the show but I think I’ll just bypass the food and cocktails and stick to wine. If you’re not a fan of the show, I would go elsewhere.

    Literally worst meal I’ve ever had. Was super excited to try it but was so overrated. The burger meat was the worst I’ve ever had- couldn’t even finish half of it, extremely chewy. Fries were terrible. Drink was terrible. The place itself was cool and could probably be fun for just drinks. Super disappointed though & would never go back

    The brunch menu and experience was underwhelming. The restaurant furnishings need a refresh. Our server was outstanding but food service was slow and bussing not on point. The food was a mixture of really good and not depending on what you order. It’s probably more interesting and a novelty for dinner and drinks.

    We had a reservation and we're quickly b seated. The waitress came over shortly after and we placed our drink and appetizer order. It took 30 minutes to get out drinks, they were not full, the rum was messy and the strawberry garnish was bruised and wilted. We're receiving our appetizers before our drinks. When the food arrived, it was over cooked. The table ordered a burger (medium) which came out well, and Athena steak frites (medium rare), which also came out well. The server although nice was not attentive and the restaurant was not busy. Overall I had higher standards that were not met and based on the experience and price, I would not recommend
