They had a marketing photographer taking pictures without any permission and did not inform us that this would be going on before arrival or even while being seated. Very invasive and unprofessional. After working the better part of 15 years in the service industry I’ve been a part of marketing media photo ops. You throw a promo and invite friends and family or you at the least properly inform guests. Ruined our evening. Not to mention the fish was about to turn.

Long delays between servings. Dinner took 2.5 hours for two of us. Server was nice, just had alot of tables and had to wait on kitchen. Hostess was hustling better than anyone on duty.

My recent visit to Sushi Itto left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. Despite making a reservation for indoor dining, my friends and I were compelled to endure the sweltering heat outside due to the restaurant being at capacity. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, I strongly urge Sushi Itto to consider installing heating and cooling options for the patio to ensure a more comfortable experience for patrons during both summer and winter months. The initial hiccup with the reservation left me perplexed. Why bother with a reservation system if it isn't honored? It's crucial that a restaurant respects the commitments they make to customers who plan ahead. The ordeal continued as we waited excessively for even the most basic of services. A 15-minute wait for a glass of water under scorching conditions is inexcusable. Our appetizers took a staggering 30 minutes to arrive, and the main course took between 45 minutes to an hour, which is entirely unacceptable. By the time the food arrived, our patience had worn thin. To make matters worse, one of the dishes served was incorrect, and my Wugye Nigiri arrived cold. Waiting for an hour for four pieces of Nigiri is simply absurd. What was more disappointing was the staff's response, which appeared to blame the busy night rather than taking responsibility for the errors. An apology and an effort to rectify the situation would have gone a long way in making us feel valued as customers. Considering the prices at Sushi Itto, which are notably higher than average, this entire experience was far from what one would expect. I have been a regular customer at Sushi Itto in the past, but after this experience, I am seriously reconsidering it as a dining option. A restaurant should not only offer good food but also a pleasant and attentive dining experience. Regrettably, Sushi Itto fell short on both fronts during my visit, leaving me with a sour taste in my mouth both figuratively and literally.

The sushi here is fantastic, easily some of the best in El Paso. Some of the entrees were less satisfying, but not terrible. The entrees were alright, nothing special. I think Sushi Itto’s strengths are both sushi and cocktails, along with some really solid appetizers. I would recommend this place for anyone seeking good sushi, but not for someone who is just looking for cooked entrees (admittedly, the only thing we didn’t try was the beef (prime or wagyu). The service was excellent, and I found the restaurant to be quite clean. The glasses and silverware were mostly spotless, which is reasonable indicator of overall attention to detail, in my opinion.

This was our second visit to this establishment .First time was amazing ,unfortunately this visit was some what disappointing . To be fair the Appetizers were amazing, service was ok but the sushi rolls were a bit on the funky side . Level of quality and standards seemed to have dropped within the last three months. Hopefully it gets better.

Our reservations were for 7:15 and it took quite a while to be seated but once we were it was fantastic. Our server and chef were amazing. We were a really big and loud group but they took great care of us. They really made my wife’s birthday one she won’t forget.

Our experience at Sushi Itto was beyond exceptional! From the moment we entered until the moment we left, the staff went above and beyond to give us a terrific meal and dining experience. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was knowledgeable and provided us with great recommendations. He checked on us enough to make sure we were taken care of but not so often it interrupted our meal. The manager came over twice to check on us and ask about our experience and we saw him do the same with other groups. Our cocktails - the Kiyoshi and the mojito were delicious and refreshing. The mojito has sake and matcha sugar in it - a delightful twist on a classic drink! We tried the Beef Tataki as an appetizer and really enjoyed it - the perfect way to start our meal! The Sunomono salad and Misoshiru soup were both great. One member of our group ordered the Spicy Udon noodles with chicken and absolutely loved it. We ordered a lot of different sushi rolls and all of us very much enjoyed every bite. We strongly recommend the Caterpillar Roll, Dragon Roll, Volcano Roll, Breaded Ebi Roll, and the Manchego Roll. Our waiter recommended the fried matcha ice cream and it was the perfect shared treat to wrap up our meal. This was truly a perfect dining experience and we will definitely be back!

The ambience and experience felt unique to El Paso with a great variety on the menu but I don’t think Ive been to restaurant with a worse hospitality than Sushito. We were only given 1 menu for a table of 2, my water was sitting empty for 10 minutes at a time even after calling the server. I had ordered some rice cakes and a wagyu roll and waited 30 minutes just for them to tell me the items were out of stock. I will be coming back to give them the benefit of the doubt , but my first time experience was not great!
