Overall the experience was amazing. Everything was set up beautifully, the timing of the food was on point. The food itself was splendid, everything was explained well. My gf and I were very happy with the dining experience. We will be there again.

It was a great experience! We had over 20 dishes. One thing I must say was they suggested that the dishes be consumed withing 10-20 seconds of being served. They came out at quite a fast pace in my opinion that it didn't leave time for conversing with other diners much. Overall it was a great experience!

Amazing food, amazing service, and an amazing experience. We loved every moment and each dish was absolutely wonderful. The meal was about 90 minutes to 2 hours in length but the time flew by. We’re still talking about the food and the experience. If you’re looking to go somewhere for a special occasion, I highly recommend this place.

Came over from the UK. Wanted an Asian food experience having heard so much about the Vancouver food scene. Food was awesome - we had two kids with us and they also loved it. We had Sake - yes, we did read the reviews! It was expensive and to be honest, we are not in the habit of drinking it so slight novices there, but we did agree it tasted better with the sushi although unless I knew what I was choosing, I wouldn’t really bother with it. This said the server did try her best to pair the Sake with our own wine tastes. Wonderfully attentive staff, pace of the meal was quick without feeling rushed. Would highly recommend.

Overall experience was good but will not return again. We have tried so many eodmae omakase / kappou places from Japan (lived in Japan for many years) back to Canda but we must say this omakase wasn't worth the money. Food was on the plain side , no surprises, very ordinary and very tiny portion. Chef showed us the food ingredients but what we saw were not what were served to us as the food were already cooked & prepared. We were quite disappointed with this kind of omakase they are serving customers at this price range, it is really just not worht it. Although food ingredients are from Japan, still would not have met this price they are charging people considering all of the above mentioned. If you are looking for ambiance or a "food preparation show", then you can try.
