    Food - delicious. Wait staff - lovely. Points lost for ambience, as we were given a (very wobbly) table outside of the main dining area by ourselves, seated beside the server's station piled with table cloths and condiments, when there were at least 5 tables of the same size sitting empty in the main restaurant where everyone else were dining. Felt like we weren't enjoying the full experience.... yet we were paying the full price.

    We were expecting an elevated dining experience based on the resort, menu, prices and reputation. The service was excellent; our server anticipated our needs and was friendly and professional. The food was good as well, however we felt it was over priced for the quality and some elements missed the mark. You can order and eat similar meals for a fraction of the price elsewhere. There was a very rowdy table seated near us who really impacted our meal. They were loud, speaking crudely and seemed to be drunk. Very disruptive, yet the staff didn’t intervene or acknowledge it. It was unfortunate because the restaurant looked like it could have been a great environment.

    Super experience. The location of the restaurant allows a beautiful view without having to compromise on the great quality and taste of the food. I highly recommend this restaurant, whether for a family dinner, date or a smaller group of people. The patio is also heated which makes both indoors and outdoors good options. The service was also impeccable.

    We were staying at the resort and decided to eat here rather than drive in to Owen Sound. Everything we had was tasty, especially the breaded fried olives that were on the beet appetiser

    Quiet, nice setting but was serving my own wine most the time and was wishing for more water. One got one serving of water, asked for refill but was never filled, server was very nice and conversed energetically. Food was good, had the calamari but seemed super oily, some warm pieces and the odd hot ones. Husband had the turkey soup (soup of the day) and said it was great! I had the main special: Lake Erie pickerel, was ok, sweet corn sauce was nice eithe the fish but the cabbage and quinoa seemed off with the main course. Husband had the smoked bison, carrots and bacon/potatoe hash and said it was great :). Have always gotten the best service here but was alittle disappointed this time for our anniversary. Had the crema Catalina and it was good, the sugar coating was perfect and the churro donut was amazing.

    y When making reservation we were asked if special occasion...yes, anniversary. Waste of time as we weren't wished Happy Anniversary and it wasn't recognized in any way. Service was perfunctory and cold. She drifted by to ask how our meals were and walked away before we could comment. Hubby had special...was described by said wait staff as a strip loin with gnochi...it came in a pasta bowl all chopped up and mixed together. My meal was okay. $22!! calamari appetizer was small and greasy, certainly nothing special. Not worth the time or money...and it's very expensive. We asked to sit in the round room and initially were told yes, I'll set a table for you...2 minutes later were told no, that it's a semi private room and there was going to be a meeting in there in half hour. We only saw 3 people go in there so lots of room for us, perhaps because we aren't private members of the golf club. Anyway, snotty service, okay food, big prices and an exclusionary attitude. Won't be back, waste of time.

    Every year we head to Cobble Beach for an extended weekend play and stay. We are so thankful that the restaurant on site is so delicious and the services is fantastic. We eat dinner/ lunch there for 4 days and never run out of a delicious choice.

    The service was great, food was delicious, the only issue was the horrible flies inside the restaurant! The little fly repellent fan that the server put on our table was absolutely useless, the flies continued to land on our food and on us! It was extremely irritating! Flies are disgusting and in a restaurant and it is concerning as flies can also spread disease.

    We were so very excited to splurge on ourselves for a special occasion. We ended up very disappointed with the meal and service. Dining room had so many flies, our server was so busy she didn’t have time to attend to our table. We were without drinks for 40 minutes, during the appetizer time, I bit into an olive and split my tooth on a pit that was in one of the olives from the charcuterie board. The charcuterie board was removed from our bill but now we are facing a large dental bill for repair. Overall extremely disappointed and sad for our evening out.

    Food is AMAZING! Ambience is great and the views to water are gorgeous. The only drawback were the flies indoors - too many. Constantly swatting them away even with spinner on table, other than that would highly recommend.

    Ate there a few times when we stayed there. Most of the food was over priced for the quality. The pizza is really good. Service was pleasant but slow. Restaurant seems to be understaffed.

    We love the Sweetwater Restaurant. It’s our go-to place to celebrate special occasions or simply when we want the best pizza in town. Great patio. Amazing staff! Keeping us coming back over and over. I think our Servers name was Krista and she’s absolutely amazing. Already so friendly, welcoming, and informative. She is very well educated in the establishment including events to help support a family friendly environment. Thank you!

    Our experience at best was just very much "ok". The menu is very limited and the food was pretty average. We were surprised that the menu did not offer more of a variety. The restaurant was empty except for our party and a one other table. The restaurant and view were both beautiful and the service was good. So much potential but we were quite disappointed.

    They could use more help. Outdoor patio could use the weeds and grass cleaned up. This is to be 5 star dining so everything should be clean and tidy.

    Very nice golf resort restaurant. The menu is intelligently sparse with a focus on creativity. The four of us enjoyed it very much. The kettle chip app with pickle hummus was a good shareable. Would return for sure.

    4 out of 5 of us had the whitefish which was very good but would be nice to have an option of not breaded. also was not given a choice of side but received fries. my bad...didn't realize i ordered fish and chips. Fish was tasty though would've preferred different side than fries waitstaff was very friendly but did not ask for choice of side Thought prices were rather high for what we got especially for lunch While weather not in your control table was in the shade and with breeze was cool. would have been nice if table was movable more into the sun

    Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback; our menu outlines the whitefish has panko crust and is served with fries. We can easily substitute out the side and cook the whitefish without the breading, we could also have seated you at a different table - all you have to do is ask and we will do our best to accommodate!     6 of us ate outside on a gorgeous night. There was a woman singing live music which was an added bonus. The service was good and food delicious.
