First time at this restaurant. Welcoming hostess, very friendly server, Suzanne. Great to see familiar faces from other places we have eaten. Adam at the bar and Hugo in the restaurant—who made us feel at home in this new venue. The food was delicious, very reasonably priced so it was easy to have a few courses without breaking the bank. The chef did a great job on the many different items we ordered. The assortment of wine and cocktails were good. We will definitely plan future visits to T42. Now added to our “favorite” list! Great job!
1st time visiting, service and food were great! Would def come back!
Excellent service and freshly made delicious plates to share. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!!
This was our first visit to T42, but it won't be our last. We visited on a Monday night during the off-season, so it was fairly empty and quiet. Not sure what it will sound like in season. The menu is amazing. Tons of tempting choices. Both small plates and entrees, sides, salads, flatbreads, etc. I has a Limoncello shrimp appetizer that was tasty, but not spectacular and a veal tortellini that was one of the best I've ever had. Companions tried the Calamari, the spaghetti and meatballs and a "T42 Fiocchi Pera," which were all quite good.
The wine list is somewhat limited, but still there are many very good wines both by the bottle and glass. My "baby amarone" was excellent.
One annoyance was the addition of a 3.3% credit card convenience charge. A much smarter business decision would be to simply find a way to include this as a cost of doing business, and price the menu accordingly.
Nice selections, good t, good service. Really like it here.
We will return!
Love this place! Been here 4 times now and the food is great every time.
Excellent food, great service. Will definitely go back.
Great food and service
Enjoyed this restaurant--ate outside where it was quiet--music inside so would have been harder to converse. Unique menu but intriguing. My salmon on a Caesar salad was tasty and well-presented. I would return!
We really like T42. Close to home and the staff is great. However, last night we took friends, it was there first time. The food was mediocre. Two of us had chicken piccata, which was so so. I had the Kalamata salad with dressing on the side. It was very good, but, it was very wet. Not sure if they added dressing although my dressing was on the side as requested
Second visit in the past week and both experiences were excellent. Food was fantastic and service good. Highly recommend.
food- not so hot. Music was loud and annoying. Service poor. We were disappointed after being there another time...
T 42 was truly a fun experience! It was nice to be able to try several small plates and new food items. Loved the Fiocchi with pears and avocado fries.
Thank you for the 5 star review and for taking the time to share with the community! We are glad you enjoyed your experience with us and appreciated our concept! We want everyone to be able to try all the flavors we have to offer. You had 2 of our favorite dishes. We look forward to serving you again. You are always welcome to our home here at T42, anytime! Anthony and Brandy Quattrochi
Food was uneven, service slow, will come back and try again.
Our server was wonderful
She is from Italy and explained everything and gave us suggestions. Definitely coming back
This was our first experience at T42. The food was very good and well above normal bar food. We had 2 pasta's and 2 salads. both were excellent! The service was spotty only because our server Maria, who was very pleasant, had 9 tables. Poor thing. They restaurant was way understaffed. Not Maria's fault. I do realize in these challenging times how difficult it is to keep and maintain staff. Overall a really nice experience and will return for sure. the music was outstanding as well! Tim
We love T42, everything about it. Staff is great, food is wonderful.
The food was very good but the inside ambience was horrible. floors were concrete and sticky. Old drop ceiling. The whole place just did not feel clean. The server was ok, but not very professional, especially when she put here hand on my back. nobody from management stopped by to see how we were doing. 3% convenience fee for credit cards? Bad idea.. I may come back, but only if they had outdoor setting not in the sun.
Service was horrible
Entertainer never showed
LOVE sitting outside! The food is always great - we’ve never had anything even mediocre there. The staff is super-friendly and very efficient. Wish all restaurants could be this good on all counts!! Our best to Tony!
In contract to a recent newspaper review we found the lighting just right and the short rib sliders very good.
Enjoyable evening. Table of six shared several different items. Janine was great!
First time there. Menu options okay. Only one fish offering so that was limiting but found a few options.
Service was very good. Ate on the patio and even though it overlooks the oarking lot not too bad.
Crab cake and seafood salad bery good. Mot mich taste to the chicken marsala but thats not unisual for Florida.
Wife said the salmon was excellent.
I too find the surcharge for credit cards absurd. I eat in many moderate to upscale reataurants and nonone does this. If it’s a fiture trend i don’t think this reataurant should be the trailblazer.
We will return in spite of this nonsense.
Food was average. Service was good. The place looked cheap, from the painted floors (that need to be repainted) to wall art...this could have been done better. The also charge a credit card “ convenience fee” if that’s how you choose to pay. Probably won’t be back.
Does T-24 stand for “Terrible - 24 hours”? Luckily for all of us they have limited hours.
The only guy who was on it was the “bus service-water person”. Saw him immediately and that’s as good as it gets. Sat over 15 minutes before anyone approached to welcome us then was told they’d be right back. Not... She finally took the 2 drink order and didn’t return for another 15 minutes saying she lost the drink order. But the busboy refilled the water. He was the only competent employee serving us. Finally got the drinks, or ordered dinner and I was questioning their accuracy in cooking steaks. Server suggested going medium rare and could always cook up to medium if it was too rare... but can’t reverse that cooking process. Made sense... ordered medium rare and received a throughly well done steak. Server asked how it was cooked, I showed her the well done steak and she immediately whisked it away and said that was not acceptable. After my date had totally finished his meal, my replacement steak arrived... probably medium well. Not even close to medium rare... but the kicker was, the dish wasn’t even what I had ordered. They gave me a Marsala dish this time, not the red wine onion reduction sauce.
What a joke. The manager removed my entree from the bill while our server talked about all the problems the restaurant was experiencing.... while all the time lifting her falling face mask over her exposed nose. Ah yes.... PLEASE touch your hands to you nose while serving our meals.
If you still wish to eat at T-24, I’d suggest you get there soon as I can’t imagine it remaining in business and profitable very long.
The menu selections at T42 are excellent. We had the Dolce Vita salad, pear/plum flatbread, pasta bolognese and tuna tartare. All are items I wouldn’t hesitate to order again!
The only gripe I have is the credit card convenience fee that many others have complained about. I had read reviews prior to our visit so we knew about it and as a result, brought cash. Problem solved but still annoying.
Food was good but the portions were small by any measure. My Kettle One vodka on the rocks was $12 in a very tiny glass! Service was slow and uncaring. Music was live and OK but very bush league. I will never be back
Always enjoy T42! Food is excellent... small plates are just right and lots to share with each other.
Very fine service and good food.
Never going there again. They charge convenience fee of 3% to cover their credit card!!! What’s next rent fee!!!
We loved the music with Wendy Renee.
This is a wonderful restaurant with great choices & great food. The tapas style of eating is fun & gives you an opportunity to sample & share several different dishes in one visit. The staff is attentive & give you time to order a drink & then order. We selected 2 tapas selections & when done we ordered 2 more until we were done. There is a specialty cocktail list & a good selection of wines. This is a winner for Estero with nightly entertainment!
Lovely menu options, friendly staff, overall a great spot. Just what I was in the mood for! The tortellini was amazing!!!
For was defiantly not worth $202 for 3 people. Mediocre at best, If you're not sitting in the bar area it's a poorly lit, poorly painted floor depressing grey area. And REALLY turned off by their 3% "credit card convenience fee". Will not go back.
We had a Great time! Really enjoyed the food and cocktails, our server Susanne did a wonderful job with suggestions and was very attentive.
We had 8 people in our group and everyone enjoyed it. My only small flaw would be the back room we were in felt very stark in comparison to rest of the place.
A little strange getting a glass of wine in a tumbler/old fashion glass
Varied selections on the menu to suit most everyone's tastes. You'll have to "get over" the owner's decision to not serve wine, manhattans, martinis, etc.., in stemmed glasses. Instead he touts rock style glasses in which to present these cocktails. Our entire party felt that is a big mistake.
