   As it was our 23rd anniversary, we were given a beautiful table decorated with real rose petals, complimentary champagne, end-of-meal cookies with Happy Anniversary spelled out in chocolate on the plate and a lovely card! Our waiter was excellent: being professional, attentive and friendly. It was a wonderful experience for our special day. Thank you!

   The brunch experience is falsely advertised. Although I booked my reservation for 245 for the full patio and guitar experience, when I arrived, I was told that the experience ends at 2:00 PM and brunch was no longer available. The dinner menu we were shown was super boring even more so than the ambience so we decided not to stay and dine. We also decided not to stay because upon arrival, the waiter was just very dry and unwelcoming. We were really hoping for a nice Sunday brunch with a great ambience and was greeted with bland, boring and unwelcoming. I think this restaurant does better during the daytime because of its location, it’s right in the middle of a bunch of office buildings, dentist offices, etc. and during the weekday I have seen a nice lunch crowd.  I may try again for lunch, but definitely won’t be back for brunch.

   Very loud. During the meal a contractor showed up to start the process of removing glass in a window. The window had something thrown through it previously. It was so loud and ruined the ambiance. Once the glass was shattered and removed they started to board up the window. I just wanted to leave

    Upon being seating we had a view of the wonderful bar area which was delightful. We started with wine and a cocktail. Both arrived to the table very quickly. For the appetizers we had polio Pulpo a La Gallega and Pan Tumaca Con Manchego. They paired well with our drinks. For our entrees we chose the Seafood Paella and i had a wine. The service and presentation were impressive. To complete the meal, the churros and cream Catalina were fantastic. A wonderful evening.

    My spouse and I celebrated our 17th anniversary at La Taberna, and we were treated like royalty. There was a beautiful heart-shaped decoration made with red rose petals on the white tablecloth and two glasses of champagne. After lunch we had a plate of cookies and a mini muffin with a candle, the words "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. The service was excellent and all the tapas delicious! Victor and all of the staff were very respectful and sweet. We'll be back!

    This place is pricey but well worth it if you feel like splurging—or have an expense account, as many patrons obviously did. But the food was excellent and the service was special, right to the end when our server brought out a plate of chocolates and cookies inscribed in chocolate "Best friends forever" (after I mentioned in passing that we were with old friends we hadn't seen in several years).

    I was celebrating my 75th birthday. The restaurant was beautiful, food was delicious, have the paella. The olive oil was amazing. We ran next door to buy a bottle. Our server was very nice as was all the wait staff. A birthday card was on the table for me from the restaurant and for my dessert they brought a small flowered cupcake and happy birthday written in chocolate.

    My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. The table was sprinkled with rose petals and we were given a complementary glass of champagne. I had the gazpacho, which was creamy (different) and flavorful, and he had pork belly, which was delicious. We shared an order of paella, served table side, which was very good indeed. The service was attentive and polished. Overall a great night out.

    My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Taberna del Alabardero. They made the evening special. There were rose petals on the table when we arrived. As soon as we were seated we were given complimentary champagne. The food and service were all amazing.

    The tapas were, as always, delicious. The stuffed peppers entre was not good. It was billed as being stuffed with shrimp, but it was hard to find any, and it was not possible to determine what the peppers had been stuffed with; and the lobster sauce was way too heavy. Others had branzino, and that was quite good.

    A bit disappointing. Service was slow. Yes, ordered Paiela and that takes time, but that was not the hold up. Just getting the orders in took too much time. Food was flavorful, paiela was very good, seafood was fresh and well portioned. Might go back.

    The food is amazing. Everything was great. The ambiance is nice & quiet. The service was great. Everyone was so pleasant & friendly. The Arroz de Langosta paella was absolutely delicious!     We arrived1 hour earlier than our original reservation and were promptly seated outside ( which is what we had requested). Service and food were excellent - entrees are large enough to share after ordering several small plates to start the evening - the bread choices are outstanding- we definitely want to go back!

    So we used a special from Travelzoo. This gave us an opportunity to try many things in the tapas area and the paella. I have done this twice now and I am never disappointed. The service is A+. I will be going back again as it is one of my favorite restaurants.
