Positive Reviews here are spot on and our experience at Table & Main was AWESOME! We celebrated a 30th wedding anniversary and the staff helped make this a very special occasion throughout our meal. Service was impeccable and the food was excellent. My Fried Chicken with Mac & Cheese was the best of either I have ever had. My wife also loved the shrimp and grits. We will definitely be back!
Good food if we had been able to finish it. Server was not very attentive to our needs but actually took our plates away before we were finished and we felt rushed through the entire meal. I swear, for a Friday night date we could have been out of there in an hour - that included drinks, apps a shared entree and a dessert. I was thoroughly disappointed in how the server seemed rushed and rushing us through the entire time we were there.
Everything about T&M is wonderful, but what makes it so special is that Ryan is such a presence. Thank you for a perfect birthday dinner!
Table and Main is one of our favorite Roswell restaurants. Off the busy downtown group of restaurants, it has valet parking, so you don't have to find a spot with the rest of diners in Roswell.
Food is awesome, and well crafted with different menus seasonally.
I took my out of town guests to Table & Main to experience a true Southern meal - and like always, it was a great night! Highly recommended for food, service, and all in between.
It was a pleasure to celebrate my wife's birthday with our server, Jimmy, and the friendly staff. Food was excellent. Always enjoy coming back.
The outdoor patio with fireplace was a surprise and awesome!
Indoor dining looked nice, too.
Food was excellent, as was the service - very attentive but not intrusive.
We booked Table & Main for our 17 th anniversary celebration; it's one of our favorite spots on Canton St and we regularly walk here for dinner too. The front porch was perfect; great weather and people watching. Service is impeccable, Food is impeccable and always creative. My husband had the pork chop on beets and I had the finest burger around (can't beat the pimento sauce... yum!) they also let me sub a fried green tomato vs. fries as you haven't lived until you've had their fried green tomato!
And by the way, this is one of those places you actually enjoy eating your vegetables. My husband hates beets (or most veggies for that matter), but he ate them all as they were so yummy!
Great French Rose (dry); a lovely vase of flowers for our anniversary and a card from the staff. Awesome night, thanks for helping us celebrate.
Table and Main is an overpriced restaurant that has wait staff who do not understand timing. My chicken was excellent. The asparagus , however, was so extensively seasoned with various unfamiliar and unpleasant tasting spices that it was ruined.
The chocolate pudding for dessert was bitter and made of chocolate flavorings that were unappealing and overly strong. It was quite surprising to find that these items were as they were.
My previous visit to Table and Main went well. So I thought this would also. I was with someone I was having a serious conversation with, and the wait staff seemed unaware of when and when not to interrupt us.
All in all, this was an unsatisfying experience for which I paid way too much.
Great anniversary meal! Special touch with flowers, card and complimentary dessert!
Friends visiting from out of town
Table & Main, continues to be one of our true favorite spots for great food and cocktails! If you're in Roswell, or want to try a great spot OTP, this is a must!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at Table & Main. The weather was perfect for patio-sitting, so we requested a table outside. They brought over a mason jar filled with wildflowers and a note signed by the entire staff wishing us a happy anniversary. Such a lovely touch. We had their delicious crab dip and fried green tomatoes as appetizers. The dip, served with Old Bay chips, did this Maryland girl's heart good! It was creamy and chock full of yummy crab. The fried green tomatoes were ok. Loved the pimento cheese oozing out of them, but the batter was a little thick and they were slightly over-fried. I had the shrimp and grits as my entree, which never fails to deliver. My husband had the fried catfish, which he loved. We were too full for dessert, so they offered to pack up our dessert of choice to take home with their compliments. We chose banana pudding, which was awesome. Table & Main's personal touches made our celebration even more special.
Really, the only negative was that we were seated next to a couple with a young child (maybe 3 or 4) and his grandparents. The child had some kind of device that he was playing a game on with no earbuds/earphones and the volume extremely loud. (Hence the "moderate" noise level rating.) We could hear sirens, birds, beeping, etc. very clearly. I can't believe that the four adults at the table didn't find it distracting or unpleasant because it nearly ruined our intimate dinner for two (leaving our child at home). We even mentioned the noise to our server and probably should have said something to the guests ourselves, but refrained. As a parent, I offer a reminder to all diners who bring young children with them to nicer restaurants - be considerate of those around you and insist that your child wear earphones when using their electronic device or set the volume VERY low.
This was our first visit to Table & Main with many more to come. I was mulling over some delicious sounding entrees and our server highly recommended the fried chicken.
I don't normally order fried chicken when dining out because, well, it's fried chicken. But this was AWESOME! Best I have ever tasted without competition. And more than enough to take home for dinner the next night.
Service was excellent. They will be seeing us again.
We loved our dinner at this hidden gem. The ambiance was fantastic with a personal feel, beautiful chandelier, and a beautiful beamed ceiling. The food was out of this world. The corn muffins were a fantastic started and the current seasonal mushroom medley dish was one of the best we’ve had. For mains, the trout was a huge portion and delicious. The gravy sauce on the shrimp and grits made the dish (and went great with the corn bread. Couldn’t recommend this place more.
Good food! Great service. Next time we are going to sit outside! Less echo!
Wonderful restaurant in a beautiful old home in downtown Roswell on Canton Street. The food and service were amazing. I just wish it didn't take so long to get a reservation!
Superb locally sourced dining, exceptionally pleasant ambiance and service. Recommend the crab dip, corn bread, and fried chicken. Exceptional vegetables. Will make a special trip to Roswell for another meal here when next in Atlanta.
Loved the fried chicken. But really liked my husbands pork chop with bacon wrapped asparagus and beets!
Food was outstanding. We had corn bread to start. I had the catfish on top of butter beans. Very good - and a substantial portion. Fish was crispy with an excellent tartar on top. The beans and tomatoes were a great compliment and could have stood on their own. Partner ordered the shrimp and grits. Authentic low country preparation. Very good dish. No desert, as we were stuffed. Only issue I had was with the server. She was pleasant enough, but we both felt that she gave us the bare minimum. Not much help picking out a wine and couldn't remember the specials. Stopped by a couple of times, but seemed disinterested in how the meal was going. Brought our leftovers and placed them on the floor without tell us. When I inquired where they were, she just pointed at the ground.
A Great new favorite when in Roswell. Great atmosphere, service and the food is excellent.
Great service and amazing food!! Can’t wait to go back!
Awesome as always
An amazing meal! This was our first time in Roswell and Table & Main. My husband and I split the fried chicken and collard greens, along with the vegetable platter. It was a perfect tasting menu. Ample food and everything, I mean everything, was delicious! We finished off our meal with the Figgy Pudding. Total comfort food. If you love bread pudding, you can't go wrong with Figgy Pudding. The service was attentive throughout. I look forward to returning again and again, when in the area.
Table and Main is my "go to " restaurant in the Roswell area. Always friendly and attentive service and good food. The shrimp and grits is on the menu year-round and is flavorful without being too spicy. This is a southern style place so don't look for low-cal but the veggies aren't overcooked and bland. Parking is pretty limited so carpool if you are meeting friends.
Get together with past coworkers, perfect choice. Outdoor dining was a plus but could have used a bit more light. Service was friendly yet efficient. Entire party was pleased with dinner choices. A perfect choice for easy going get togethers with assurance of a delicious meal and experience.
The food is always wonderful. The service is always wonderful.
Great Desserts, wine and delightful place to bring friends
The food was delicious, and we enjoyed the ambiance. It was a comfortable atmosphere with great views overlooking greenery out the back windows, and we were easily able to engage in conversation during our meal. Our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable and answered our questions about the menu. Will definitely be back!
Dinner was delicious! Veggie plate was not your usual boring one. Not too loud. We could actually hear one another talk. Will be back!
Great food in a down-to-earth atmosphere with Southern elegance without excessive pretense. Service was friendly, cheerful and courteous.
Rachel the server was awesome, went above and beyond to help my wife and her allergies.
Celebrated my birthday here with 8 of us, including my toddler daughter. Amazing food and wonderful service as always! My favorite Roswell restaurant
Excellent food and excellent service
Good experience, it’s super cozy - atmosphere is great for a adult family outing. The rose Syrah is amazing but so is the Syrah. Portions are quite large had leftovers. I elected for the catfish; I wish it was a little more seasoned but overall the dish was good. Will probably come back to try their short rib.
You could hear the banging from kitchen when they loaded the dishwasher. Which was frequent. Waiter forgot to bring things to the table. He spilled wine from the bottle as he poured. Did not bring a clean napkin back. Ordered the duck & there was almost no duck - great deal of potatoes. Pork chop was dry. Usually have a great experience but not that night.
Always a memorable experience!!!
Best Fried Chicken Ever !!!!
If you're craving fried chicken, this is the place to go.
Good fried chicken and the best brussel sprouts known to man.
Wasn't crazy about it. Went for my wife's birthday. She had the fried chicken, which she really liked. I had the burger. Portion sizes were disappointing. Wasn't great; the burger was about the size of a slider. Fries took up most of the plate. They would have been good had they not been so salty.
Probably won't go back. But if we do, I'll get the chicken. Service, on the other hand, was good. Wait staff was really nice.
