Always wonderful! We are regulars, and proud to be so.
Great food and service. The catfish was fantastic and my wife had the shrimp and grits. The entire experience was great. And, they have a great bourbon selection. It was our 37th wedding anniversary. Splurged with a pour of Boss Hog Whistle Pig.
We recently moved to Roswell, and chose Table & Main for our wedding anniversary dinner. This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were very pleased. Parking can be a challenge on Canton Street, however the valet parking worked well. The dining room was very cozy and warm- easy to feel at home. Our waiter Jessie provided excellent suggestions and service, and there was an anniversary card signed by the staff on our table, a very nice touch. We both selected the fried chicken with a side, very good and took leftovers home for dinner the following night. We received a complementary dessert for the occasion, again a very nice touch. Very warm, comfortable place and we look forward to returning and bringing friends!
Monday night family bucket of fried chicken didn’t know it was legs and thighs only. No breasts Wish they would have told us we would have ordered differently. Collard greens were good so was the green beans and cornbread.
An exceptional restaurant. The fried chicken is amazing and also most everything on the menu.
Very nice renovated house in Historic Roswell. Great food and great service. We sat inside but have eaten in the garden and it is romantic.
Love this place! Tried getting in for the 1st time a few weeks ago and they were closed for an event. So glad I didn't give up on them. We went for a Thursday evening "date night." It was dreary and pouring rain. We assumed we would eat inside, but were pleasantly surprised to be asked if we wanted to eat on the porch. What a treat. It was fully covered and the tree-lined view on Canton Street was so beautiful.
I had the fried chicken and my husband had the hanger steak. Both were amazing, along with the collards and hoppin' john, and okra. I'm very picky about my mac and cheese so this was really the only disappointment. Constance was our server and we couldn't have had a more personable and enjoyable time with her. She is truly a gem. We will definitely be back!
Fantastic - top to bottom.
Make your reservation at least an hour before they close. Everything is made to order, so the kitchen closes 30 minutes before the restaurant does.
I was in town for work trip and wanted great fried chicken. Table and Main didn’t disappoint. Huge meal and perfect fried and flavorful chicken. I had a side of fried green tomatoes that happens to be stuffed with pimento cheese. Great bourbon and wine list. Staff was very attentive and friendly. If I lived here I would visit frequently. Highly recommend. Definitely make reservations though. It’s a small place and fills up fast.
These guys went above and beyond to make up for a not so pleasant experience at their sister restaurant! Food and staff were absolutely fantastic!
This was our first time at Table and Main. We met some friends for dinner. They recommended it for the fried chicken. We selected the fish dishes and loved them both! The service was incredible-thanks to Emily. It was a vibrant atmosphere and at times hard to talk but it was a great evening. Excellent wine selection.
Great evening. Great food, service, and ambiance. Helpful and friendly staff.
Such a great experience here! We went on a date for my boyfriend’s birthday and the service was remarkable, food absolutely delicious, and experience one of a kind. Will definitely return!
Perfect evening great food excellent service
My boyfriend & I both got the fried chicken and it was yummy. We just wish our server told us that one entree was enough for two people because we would have tried a couple of more sides. My cocktail was also delicious. We had the Blueberry Upside Down cake for dessert, which was good and overall it was a great dining experience. The fried chicken wasn't overaly greasy or salty as most fried chicken tends to be in the south. I had the cucumber salad which was really good and my boyfriend had the mac & cheese, also really yummy.
Grest Southern fare. Creative.
The only thing I do not suggest eating is the fried chicken skins and pimento cheese appetizer, sounded incredible but skins were not crispy so they were a bit rubbery.
All other food AMAZING!
We have been to Table and Main many times and always enjoyed our experience. However, our last visit left something to be desired; the fried okra was tough, the tomatos salad had no taste, and the trout was mushy. The service was mediocre.
Based of this experience, we would have to think twice about returning.
Service and food were perfect - the Monday night family meal is fantastic!
Great Food, Service and Ambiance.
Table and Main has become one of our favorites. A creative twist on Southern Cooking. Food was fantastic, great service. Highly recommend it.
Great place to go in downtown Roswell. The food and service were excellent.
Wife and I had wanted to try Table & Main for a while and loved it. Quieter (in a good way) than others we go to, food was great, and the price was very reasonable. The waitress was awesome and helped with recommendations and taught us about mushrooms when I mentioned I was hesitant about them. They were surprisingly delicious.
Best seafood dish I believe I’ve ever had, loved the trout!! Our server, Stephanie was so great and super sweet. We will return!
One of the best restaurants in old Roswell. Food and service is always amazing. Thanks so much for taking care of us.
Great place with good food and Excellent service i will go again
Occasionally, we want fried chicken. When that happens, we head to Table and Main for the crispiest, most succulent fried chicken around. It never disappoints. On this visit we ordered the blue crab dips appetizer. The addition of caramelized Vidalia onions added a hint of sweetness and texture to this outstanding appetizer served with house made potato chips. My husband loves the banana pudding and I enjoyed the brown butter pecan ice cream. Perfect dinner!!
First time to eat at Table and Main. It did not disappoint and will be going back.
great presentation and the taste did not disappoint! The burger with bacon jam and pimento cheese rocks! Can't believe it hasn't been written up like the chicken. The fried chicken is amazing. A bit challenging to try to have quiet or private conversation is my only complaint. Food is worth over-looking this though.
Our favorite restaurant on Canton Street with its multiple dining rooms and creative drink menu. The smoked, brined pork chop with grilled ham & asparagus, and hot 'n sour beets was excellent, topped off with a scoop of bourbon butter pecan ice cream. Great spot for dining with friends; we found the room in the back a bit more quiet for a dinner for two.
Our experience at Table and Main was entirely positive. The food was wonderfully prepared, the noise level was good, and our server, Jimmy, was great. He was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We will recommend it highly and be sure to go back.
Took a friend from Chicago there this week for dinner. We both ordered the fried chicken. Delicious, tender and moist-only suggestion I might have had would be to add mashed potatoes as a side. Wait staff conscientious and pleasant.
We took our very good friends for their birthdays, and we had a fabulous experience. We enjoyed the fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and fried catfish. Additionally, the blueberry upside down cake and banana pudding were outstanding. Jimmy provided superior service, and our friends truly enjoyed their first time visit to the restaurant. We all will be back!
We were on our first trip to Atlanta and chose Table and Main from a list of three that we found online. What a great choice! It is just the type of place my husband likes. Everything was wonderful from the moment we entered. The staff, particularly our server Paige, are so welcoming, that we felt we had been there many times before and were having dinner among friends. The food is outstanding, and the bar manager, Matthew, made an outstanding after dinner suggestion bourbon for us. It turns out he grew up not far from where we live. I particularly wanted southern food, so I had their shrimp and grits with a side of fried green tomatoes. Superior! We cannot wait to make another trip to Atlanta to eat there again.
I was looking for something new that my wife and I had never been before.
Table and Main has been there in Roswell for a while ,but I had never tried it.
The reviews I read matched the food and the service. Beautiful little house which serves
as the main dining room. May have to try the outside fire pit area next time.
Food didn’t live up to the hype or the pictures. Namely the fried chicken, Mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes.
The entire experience was outstanding. Great apps and bourbon choices. My shrimp & grits was incredible. Desserts out of this world. Service was attentive but not over bearing.
The staff was so friendly and accommodating! Also they were amazing about saying big happy birthday and making dish recommendations. Enjoyed the food and had an amazing evening!
First time to the restaurant after seeing and hearing great reviews. The couple we were with said it was good. BUT we were underwhelmed. Service was outstanding for sure. Food was ok, good, but nothing special. Fried chicken, huge order and done ok but some of it was dry inside. Again, ok. Mac and Cheese was great. Shrimp and grits ok, again nothing notable from having it at other venues. I had the trout which was overdone and dry. For great trout I like the Milton Inn which has the best and the ambience is great. As to ambience here, perhaps if you sat outside but was raining and hot so not an option. Inside it is a big room with alot of tables, nothing notable or special. Do not see why all the rave reviews but you have to try everything once right? Just won't be coming back.
The place is great. The food good not great. Our server was wonderful. Picked up our attitude and senses of humor and rolled with it. Madison is on her way whatever the circumstances. She made the evening. .
