   TacoTaco is an amazing place for tacos! That’s it. Imagine Campechano but reasonably priced and a larger variety of tacos with a lot more vegan/ vegetarian options! The appetizers were okay though, however with the pricing they have it’s decent! Definitely highly recommend a visit!

   TacoTaco was a great experience. Definitely go there for open mic nights on Thursdays. Had their braised pork and bbq brisket tacos and they were delicious. there's also a big and reasonably priced cocktail menu.

   Great indoor/outdoor atmosphere and lovely staff. They were very accomodating to our large group for our work dinner. The food came out fast and drinks were refreshing!

    This is not the typical place you see on open table. It is very casual and inexpensive. Food is simple tacos and burritos but delicious, with excellent sides of spicy cucumber and corn fritters as examples. Ambience is Mexican kitsch, perfectly suited for Kensington vibe. One small criticism: Don't use paper plates and plastic forks, raise the prices a little if that is what it takes for proper plates and cutlery. Service is very friendly and accommodating.

    Showed up for a reservation, they didn’t have a table so we waited which is fine. Within half hour everyone left and we were the only ones there. Service was mediocre. No one checked on us to see how our meals were, the girl behind the counter was more interested on her phone. I always heard positive raves about the food, and it was just okay. I was there for a birthday dinner and they took so long to come around when we were done, that we didn’t want to order dessert cause of the “wait”, even though it was just us and one other couple. The service lacked for me. I take pride in good service. I would give them another chance with the food and would hope for better customer engagement.

    I held my birthday here but this place didn’t seem organized for a large party. The food and the tacos were great but as for professionalism it wasn’t there. I booked my party several days well in advanced to only be texted 3 hours prior on the day of my event. I had a small amount of time 1hr30 mins and to be moved outside because of a “private party”. I understand double booking happens but you don’t give 3 hour notice when someone has already planned time and sent out invites already. Several of my party guest travelled from out of Toronto to get here. No apologies were given. Me and my party were forced to finish our meals in the freezing cold. This review was left because I was lied to on the phone about a fully covered patio 3 hrs prior to me showing up, by this point I was already annoyed. Your outdoor heaters suck btw if it’s not a fully covered patio. Don’t recommend a patio when the weather is under 15 degrees with wind. We paid our bills in a rush because our time was up and ended up at a better establishment down the road from here which we enjoyed indoors.

    Went on their thursday open Mic night. The restaurant had a great vibe and everyone was having a great time. Service from staff was great and prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend getting one of their taco combos and trying the cod taco, shrimp taco or the surf and turf one!

    I went here for Canada Day and the service was exceptional! We tried the jerk chicken taco and it tasted really authentic. Very good and would definitely recommend to others!

    Some of the tacos were great, but the quality was not consistent. Food took really long to come out and when it did, it didn’t arrive at the same time. One person on our party waited half an hour for their main after we all got ours even though they’d ordered the same as somebody else at the table. Really cute patio, the decor inside is nice, but just not worth it.

    Went on their thursday open Mic night. The restaurant had a great vibe and everyone was having a great time. Had the best time here. The service was amazing from the second we got seated, and the food was delicious and very affordable. Taco Taco was simply the best Mexican fusion cuisine I’ve had experienced.

    I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price and the big portion of food served. These tacos are not the usual small-ish tacos served at Mexican food trucks in the States, they are bigger and LOADED. Got an amazing deal with the three amigos combo (~$20 per person after tax and tip). Their tacos are delicious (tried the fish, duck, chicken, tofu, shrimp, and butternut squash tacos) as are their beverages. Very filling and yummy. The combination of ingredients went very well. The staffs were lovely and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant. Will come back to try other items on the menu for sure.

    We went to Taco Taco for dinner and attend a Bachata lesson and dance. When our food arrived, we were rushed to finish eating and vacate our table as they wanted to re-arrange the tables for the Bachata event. I was under the impression that the Bachata event would be held in the night-club in the back, but unfortunately this was not the case. If I had known this I would not have come for the Bachata lesson and dance as the front of the restaurant is completely inadequate to hold this type of event. We did not appreciate being rushed to finish dinner and being kicked out of our tables. Also when the Bachata lesson started the waitress was rather pushy and wanted us to move out of her way as if the Bachata lesson was an annoyance to her and we were getting in the way. During the lesson a number of people entered the restaurant, walked right through the class to get to the private function in the back. This was very disturbing to the lesson. Finally once the bachata lesson ended there was not dancing afterwards because apparently the front of the restaurant was double-booked for some other event so we were kicked out. This was a horrible Latin dancing experience, extremely unorganized, and the front of the restaurant should never have been used to host such a Latin dancing lesson and dance. I will never come back to Taco Taco again.

    Service was incredible- so kind and attentive. Food was fine but not great. More like fusion tacos; and burrito was actually better than the tacos. Margarita was ok. All in all - perfectly fine place for a quick bite, but nothing stands out.

    Thank you for a great time that we spent with my friends at Tacotaco. The food was amazing and the restaurant staff was so courteous that makes us want to come back to Tacotaco next time. The prices are reasonable, there was also a promotion for their new meal kits that we could try for a special price. Thanks once again for a wonderful experience!

    The staff went above and beyond to make sure I got the drink I ordered to the point of running to the store to get cranberry juice. They also took a photo for us, as it was my boyfriends birthday. It is the perfect spot for a fun night with friends!

    Nice outdoor patio in Kensington market. Unusual/very creative tacos I.e. cheeseburger and duck. Fresh made corn fritters to die for. Definitely a fun place to go to with good food and service as well as low prices
