   This is a great Indian restaurant, with superior food and great service. We were much dismayed when the Curry Club moved out of this space, but this restaurant is also quite good. Highly recommended.

   As a relatively new vegetarian, flavor is extraordinarily important to me and my okra dish delivered that flavor royally. My husband felt the same about his fish dish and the price was absolutely reasonable.

   The food and service were outstanding! More than one server checked on us repeatedly, The only problem we had was they had a live band downstairs & recorded music upstairs & they both clashed loudly. This was a Saturday night though. It probably wouldn’t happen any other night. I highly recommend this restaurant!

   The place looks nice and authentic, I mean the decorations and the music. The service is quick. I'm not particularly knowledgeable about Indian food, but the food was good. The only thing that upset me was the salty lassi, which somehow tasted like egg.

   Lovely traditional decor. Friendly and helpful staff who provided informative descriptions of the food. The food was delicious! We look forward to returning to enjoy the delicious food on the outdoor patio in warmer weather.

   I have been to most of the Indian Restaurants on Long Island. This newbie is a STAR. We live over 1 hour away but the food, service and attention to detail are worth the drive. When you walk in Paris greets you at the door and from then on your in for a great meal. Whether you like spicy or mild your waiter will help you to make a good choice. The food is fresh and delicious. If you like Indian food this is the place to go !

   We were very pleased with our dining experience. We are new to Indian cuisine and the waiter was helpful. We prefer food that is less spicy than many people. Since Indian food can be on the spicy side, we wanted selections that were mild to the pallet. The waiter provided selections that were tasty but not spicy.

    Our first time here, at first I was worried because my husband has never had Indian food but that was quickly changed by our waiter. We asked for suggestions and spice level recommendations which he gave and we loved. Will definitely be back

    Having never had authentic Indian food, we decided to try it out. Beautiful restaurant and our waiter couldn’t have been more helpful. We tried an assortment of appetizers and entree. It was all delicious! We will be back for sure! Thank You

    Food was excellent. Only caveat is that they include whole spices such as cardamom. It's important in Indian cooking but as an American, it's very overpowering when there's random cardamom seeds on your food. Management was superb. The owner recognized that we weren't touching the Peshawari Naan so he took it off the bill and ordered us Mehlai Naan which we liked much more. Prices are on par with other sit down restaurants with a nice atmosphere. The bar area is gorgeous

    Excellent food, superbly prepared. Spices were used just right: enough to taste them but not overpower the dish. I loved every mouthful. Run, don't walk to experience this wonderful, wonderful new addition to the Stony Brook food scene.

    This newly opened Indian restaurant is definitely here to stay! The food and service were both fantastic. Since they are in their soft opening stage, the printed wine listed wasn’t ready. A wine professional came to our table and described each of the wines that he would recommend pairing with the food, which was a very educational experience. The rest of staff members are trying very hard to please and they sure did! Everything we ordered came out very flavorful and everyone in my party throughly enjoyed the meal. The prices are comparable to other Indian restaurants and they gave good value and quality food for the cost. We will be back for sure!

    The site of the former Curry Club in East Setauket, Taj Crown of India is a significant upgrade with a Manhattan vibe. We visited on a Friday night, approximately one week after opening, which explains the few areas that need improvement. First and foremost, sincere compliments to the chef. This is, perhaps, the most delicious Indian food I have ever tasted and I am a very big fan of Indian food! The chicken tikka masala was moist and succulent with an extremely different taste from the usual fair. I am truly thrilled that there is such fine Indian dining in our area and I will certainly go back, recommend, and bring friends. That being said, there is still much work to be done to make this restaurant the five star restaurant it should be. We waited quite a while at our table before anyone cane with a menu or took a drink order. In fact no wine list was provided and although the wine we selected, with the help of the owner, was delicious, it was $16 a glass. The owner and our waiter could not have been more accommodating; however, our waiter was more like a waiter in training. This poor young man was truly overwhelmed by what he was supposed to do. No need to go into detail, as there is nothing really to complain about. This restaurant is going through some growing pains, and I am sure it will become a very popular hotspot in no time at all.
