It's been a while since being there. Very nice, food was fantastic, however, there was only 2 of us and we couldn't even hear each other talk because of the noise level throughout the restaurant. If you're reading this, please consider the time you're at the restaurant. Our reso was at 6:30pm on a Saturday night... definitely peak time, it was packed. We found that the restaurant thinned out a bit (not much) about an hour later, so a bit better on the noise level. As busy as they were, service was very good. By all appearances, they were well attentive to all the tables at all times. Food arrived as it should, nice and hot and fresh out of the kitchen. Attention to detail by the the waiting staff was very good, nothing was amiss. Would we recommend this to a friend?.. yes. Just consider the times you choose to go.

Great place for a special occasion! We really enjoyed the mini wellington, the peppercorn crusted steak and the fillet with bacon jam. My husband didn't care for the crab cakes. Fresh bread with whipped butter was great as well. We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. The only issue I had was my wife ordered a steak and asked for a very small amount of horse radish. When I got the bill I discovered that they charged $3.00 for the horse radish which was not mentioned when we ordered it. I feel that that was an exorbitant price for a condiment and it should have been mentioned when we asked for it. Other than that, it was a nice meal

Disappointed with the food quality for price! Ribeyes quality and size fell short of the 16 oz., filet good, scallops appetizer not cooked enough and not much flavour, seafood Neptune quantity rather scant. Potatoes and vegetables so salty didn’t eat them. Dinner for 4, with approximately 2 drinks pp with tip $500. Server was great, small restaurant and a bit too noisy, tables too close together. Wouldn’t rush back at that price!

My wife and I go to take 5 for all of our special occasions. The reason we do is because it is CONSISTENTLY the best experience we have had at a restaurant in this city. All of the servers including adrian always make it a point to say hello and we always feel appreciated every time we go there. Last night we were celebrating both our birthdays and they brought us out dessert on the house and even though they didn't know what our favourite desserts were they literally brought out both of our favourites creme brûlée and cheesecake and they were both fantastic.

Exquisite is all I can say! The beef tenderloin tips were cooked to perfection. The deserts were devine. The crème brûlée is truly the best I’ve ever had. Our host Gavin, was so polite and accommodating. I can’t wait to bring my out of town guests here. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing date night and a wonderful dinner. My white cheddar bacon filet mignon was insane. So well cooked. Probably the best steak I ever had. My spouse had the lamb and steak - that steak was slightly overcooked (was supposed to be med rare) but it was still delicious and great cut of meet. The apps were wow, the desert and drinks were wow. I would def go back!

Great little gem hidden in Windsor. I wouldn’t order the Chicken Oscar again (but hey it’s a steak out) The steak and calamari were outstanding. My only suggestion (maybe not feasible) I would have liked it to be a kid free restaurant, I don’t feel that it’s a place for little ones. Overall it was great and we would absolutely take the 3 hour drive again to dine here.

Take Five lives up to the hype. Best steak I have had in a Windsor. Prix Fixe was perfect with a nice bottle of wine added. Service was impeccable (Brad). We will be back.

Brad was our waiter and was excellent and attentive. The Arancini is delicious. We each had the New York strip steak and it was perfectly cooked. My husband had the potato croquettes and I had the risotto, both were delicious. The atmosphere was quaint, with calming music in the background. Sadly we did not have room for dessert. One thing I wish they had was a local (by-the-glass) Merlot wine. Sharing a bottle while extra special, we had to be mindful that one person has to drive 30 mins to get home. It was an excellent way to spend our 49th wedding anniversary. Take Five is a great little restaurant.

A lovely dinner out with friends. I’ve been there quite a few times and I found the side servings were quite small. Not sure if that was intentional or not.

We have eaten at Take 5 many times and the meal never disappoints. Great recommendations from the server, awesome cocktails and apps. We never feel rushed. One of the top restaurants in the city.

Had the new york steak and they sure have changed their cut. Lower quality, chewy. I eat a lot of steak and have had it here before and its quality has gone down. Dont order it unless you want to chewy a lot. Very disappointing in the quality when you are being charged more. Wont be back for steak, that is for sure. :( my friend had the salmon and the size of it has gotten smaller too. It is almost not worth going out....getting charged more for lower quality food.

My wife and I really enjoyed the ambiance and the atmosphere. The food was very good , however, the Tenderloin Tips although perfectly cooked were a little on the salty side. Our waiter was very good and attentive, however my wife and I were both overcharged on our glasses of wine order which did leave a bad taste. Overall it could have been a great experience but because of the few things mentioned it ended up being just a good experience. We will give it another opportunity in the future.

Lovely restaurant with overall great food and ambience. Server was excellent. We would pass on the beef Bourgeon…sauce excellent but meat too tough and not enough vegetables. Other choices preferable.

Our service was wonderful as usual. The food that we had was outstanding...the beef tenderloin tips were cooked to perfection and the sauce was so tasty. The environment is lovely. My only complaint is this is the second time I tried to order the strawberry peppercorn flambe dessert and they were out of strawberries. Very disappointed as this is one of the things I look forward to having when I come here. Otherwise,everything else was wonderful.
