    Food amazing, busy due to being Saturday and loud. Nice atmosphere, did take a while to get our order taken And cocktails made but overall really good and would go back x

    We waited a long time for our pre dinner cocktails to the point our dinner wine then arrived and our meal but only complaint I have. The restaurant was quiet but the rest of the service was fine, our wine wasn’t chilled and Harriet sorted it for us. The tapas was lush, really enjoyed, we also got the table near the window we requested, Harriet was very good and was clearly in charge , enjoyed the evening

    Great tapas bar and restaurant above popular bar on sea front. Choice and quality of food and drinks excellent and wonderful service

    Had to return fillet steak at £30 should be great but was very grizzly and poorly presented tapas was average chicken dry meat balls dry fish dishes very good

    Food was delicious but the service and atmosphere wasn’t great. It was freezing inside, we were seated directly underneath a speaker which was way too loud, blasting out music causing us to have to shout at each other. We finished our food and the guy came over asking if we wanted to see the dessert menu, we said no and ordered some more drinks instead. Before the drinks got brought over another waiter came over (seemed like manager) and gave us the bill. I told him we hadn’t asked for the bill as we had just ordered more drinks and he decided to tell us all tabs had to be paid for by 4pm. Absolutely ridiculous when we had only been there for 1 hour and when I booked online I got told I could use the table for 2 hours. This was for my mums birthday and we was wanting to stay and have a few more drinks but we paid and left because we felt like the staff were forcing us to hurry up. Awful service, Tale of Two has certainly gone done hill over the years and we won’t be returning.

    Food was excellent and good service. I had assumed that we would be eating in the main restaurant, but upon arrival discovered that we were in the main bar. No big deal as it was very quiet, but could have been different if it was busier.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, service was excellent and polite and speedy. Temperature of the restaurant was pleasant and it wasn’t too noisy although there was a birthday party on. Positive was the service Negative was lack of vegetarian options and liquor coffee

    Very enjoyable meal, along with a good bottle of wine. Me and my sister decided on a sharing board, along with a number of side orders, and everything was lovely. Brilliant value for money, will definately be recommending.

    We had our works night out and we all agreed it was one of the best visits we’ve had at tale of two ever! The food was amazing and there was no wait at all for anything The service went great and the staff was amazing and the was enough of them as we had a bigger table They all should be proud of themselves and eachother as we had a great time

    We have had our Christmas night out (amongst other nights) on a number of occasions and we have come back because we have always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the food wasn’t up to the normal standards. A complaint was made and it was dealt with promptly and we were given a free bottle of wine in recompense. The noise in the bar and restaurant was extremely loud but in all fairness, we probably got louder as the evening went on.

    I booked on line but called to request a window table. Friendly and helpful response. Beautiful food. Very fresh and tender fish, tasty sauces, perfectly cooked steak and lovely desserts with cocktails. Service was especially efficient and friendly. An excellent evening. Will certainly return.

    Been a couple years but was nice to see this restaurant keeping up the standards in service and food quality! Still private and plenty of space which was nice to see since some restaurants try cramming in more tables after being open for this long. Look forward to returning!

    Very Dissapointed there was no atmosphere upstairs in restaurant. The air con was on and it was quite cold. We used to come for Tapas alot before the refurbishment and eat in the bar area. When i booked i requested to sit in the bar but was informed you carnt anymore. So i Wont be going back anymore. Service was good and food was very nice.

    Great food and wine. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downsides were that we had to ask for things on a number of occasions and the tables around us were not cleared promptly. Overall, would recommend as the food is beautiful and the views over the estuary are nice.

    Food good (had tapaz/burgers), good atmosphere, friendly staff although waiting staff seemed short staffed for a busy Saturday night. In bar air con was way too cold so only stayed for one drink.

    We were welcomed and shown to our table, offered a choice of table as had requested round table in the bay but have swapped tables around so only tables for 2 in the bays. We opted for the round table in front of the 2. We were served well by Leon and a lovely young lady. Good food, steak was over cooked as asked for blue and more med rare but very tasty. The other 3 meals were perfect as we're the delicious starters and desserts. Thank you for a lovely evening.
