Fabulous as always. The hummus is the best I’ve ever had and the freshly baked pita is amazing. We had the fatoush salad , beef and lamb and the food and service was impeccable. It is our “go to” neighborhood spot for a delicious meal and convivial ambiance. The management staff and servers are friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. And shoutout to the mixologist who has always made our evenings special. Keep up the excellent work.

I was disappointed with the seating arrangement. Even though I specifically requested the second floor when making my reservation, when we arrived the table was on the main floor by the stairs with a draft coming from the door every time someone entered. The food was good but I could do without the cold draft. Will not be sitting there again that's for sure. Before coming in again I will make sure to inquire about my sitting location.

We ate upstairs for dinner which had a lovely atmosphere. The service was very good. The appetizers were excellent, the fattoush salad was very good but small portion for the price, the chicken dish was very small. I would come again and have a glass of wine with some appetizers. The rest of the menu was small portions and high price.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the ambiance was great. We had the owner as our server and he was entertaining, authentic and very kind. I would highly recommend this local restaurant and will be visiting again!

This is my favourite restaurant in the city. The food is delectable, the cocktails are divine, and the service is always a truly VIP experience. Among the assortment of chain restaurants in the area, Taline is a much-needed breath of fresh air.

Step into an oasis of unbelievable flavours layer on the highest quality of foods. The freshest of ingredients in perfect harmony to elate your mouth and bring an overwhelming sense of tranquility to your evening. The staff were amazing lead by Seb and his brothers who orchestrated a memorable evening for us. Just let me start by saying if I could give Tagine more than 5 stars I would. I'll start with the service. It was amazing, the staff is welcoming, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food outstanding, the babaganoush and tuna tartar starters are a must try. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and don't miss out on the braised cabbage. I'm already looking forward to my next visit

We went to Taline to do the chef's tasting menu to celebrate my birthday. Partway through, I started to feel unwell (not at all related to the food) and they were amazing at accommodating us and sending us home with the rest of the food. The chef even came out and gave us instructions on how to best heat up the food at home. The service from start to finish was impeccable, and the food was outstanding. Despite being disrupted partway through, the team at Taline handled our situation impeccably and we felt incredibly cared for. Toronto, don't sleep on this restaurant!!

Dinner at Taline was a 5 star for sure!!! Amazing appetizers - hummus and babbaganoush Sea Bass presented in a beautiful presentation and was delicious. Wine was perfect with it.... I have made reservations already for next week.... Its a hidden treasure !!!

We really wanted to live this dinner. The flavours were good but not amazing. The humous felt dry. Mostly our disappointment was with the service. Right off the bat there was no guidance with how much to order. We left wishing we had ordered one more dish but by the time we realized it was too late. Also our water was not refilled, We would have ordered more drinks as well.

I would say Taline is overrated . The service was very good, ambiance ok , food decent but the prices way over the top so not good value overall. I would not recommend Taline to a friend because there are several other comparable restaurants in Toornto that offer better value and ambiance ...

A fun, energetic restaurant with good food. However, our enjoyment of the decor and food was severely hampered by the noise level. I was aware of the noise as we entered at the first floor but found the second floor even more overpowering. We were unable to carry on a conversation (we are both old geezers) and could barely make out what the staff were saying. All hard surfaces, tables close together and a fairly full room added to the reverberation. We enjoyed the lamb main course and the cabbage dish very much. However, we would be unable to return or recommend this to any of our friends. Clearly for a much younger crowd (with good hearing).

I rarely leave reviews. However, people need to know about this place. Everything was amazing. From the vibe, ambiance, to the service and the food. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had the mante and the octopus to start. Which were both extremely unique and super flavourful. We had the trout and and lamb chops for the main with a side of potatoes. Fish was melting in your mouth and the lamb was so flavourful and had such aromatic spices, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely must try and truly a hidden gem. Will be back again and again

Very good restaurant. Just the Fish had many bones when we visited where we heard it was boneless. They had to change it for us. But very friendly and accommodating.

Service was great, cocktails were fantastic. We tried a number of dishes and had some absolute favourites. The octopus was a miss, it was not tender enough to be enjoyed properly. Babaganoush, labneh, and lamb were 10/10. Trout was interesting, but I’d try a different dish next time.

Blown away by the experience we had at Taline. Having the opportunity to have an authentic food experience in a fine dining setting is something I'm sure we all chase. I can sit here and tell you the food was amazing and the ambiance was cool or that the service was top tier like Yelp wants me to do but in all honesty it doesn't end there for this restaurant. As an Armenian I felt so proud to see my people showcase our food in the way they did. I didn't know it was possible to have a fatoush salad the way they made it or eat the same lebne I did as a kid with the amazing fresh baked pita that they made. How the chef managed to take a steakhouse style steak and make it taste like the best skewered over charcoal grilled xhrovats is nothing short of magic. What made the night even better was with the food we had some of the best drinks I've had in years with a music playlist you have to be in there to appreciate. Being from LA we are making sure we let everyone back home know that one of the best Armenian restaurants in the world is in Toronto

We went to Taline for our anniversary dinner, and had a great experience. We chose the Chef’s tasting menu, and enjoyed all the dishes. Our favorite was the manti - what a great version of a traditional Armenian dish! Well done!

One of my best meals of the year! We let the Chef feed us. The Armenian / Lebanese menu and welcoming service was inspired by the owners' mother Taline. Perfectly executed menu with great flavours. Thoughtful service and wine list with good Armenian selections too. Highly recommended.

Great ambience. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped inside Taline. The food and drinks were top notch. Our server recommended a few dishes which we tried and they were delicious. She didn’t oversell items. The presentation was perfect. A place in our neighborhood which we will surely visit again.
