We had the best dinner experience at Tamboli’s for my husband’s birthday. We’ve always gotten their pizza to go and have wanted to dine it for a while. It is the full experience when dining in, and the pizza fresh from the oven is incredible! Our waitress was awesome too, and the staff in general give off a family/team vibe.

Brought my cousin and her daughter here for the first time. They are both extremely picky eaters and the staff went out of their way to accommodate them. Thank you so much for a memorable experience!

The buttered noodles are amazing. Great pizza, too. Italian sodas are wonderful. Don’t see those everywhere. Add crème for a piece of heaven. Love that is a transformed service station. They recently enclosed the original parking lot. Great job. Very urban.

Our waitress was wonderful. We didn’t prefer the table we were given and she was more than willing to move us to a better spot. Only issue was with a bartender; she was extremely rude. We were about to leave and it started pouring rain, we were going to sit at the bar and have one more drink while it let up but I guess 30mins is too close to closing for her to get him a beer. However still recommend just maybe skip the bar….

The pasta and pizza are both delicious! I ordered the Cacio E Pepe pizza and it was cooked beautifully and so tasty. The Mediterranean Gimlet was a personal favorite cocktail. Will be back!

We had not been to Tamboli’s since we had take out during Covid. It’s such a great neighborhood restaurant. We will definitely be back. We had a pizza, special pasta & cappuccino and portions are large.

It took thirty minutes to get an incorrect cocktail properly returned, the service less than stellar. Once the entrees came out, we got pizza, I had hoped they would have been less soggy in the middle. On a huge plus side, they offer non dairy cheese that actually melts! We can check Tamboli’s off our list.

When we have family get - togethers, or when we just want the best in Italian cuisine, our #1 choice is Tambolis. Fresh meats and cheeses, and the best homemade pastas and sauces...and don't forget the Panna Cotta.

Cute place and maybe one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in Memphis. It was a bit noisy, which bothered some of the older people I was with. Overall I would recommend.

First visit.Three of us split a vegetarian pizza and a vegetarian pasta dish. Both were excellent and portions large. Can’t wait to go back.

They seated people who walked in before us who said they did not have a reservation, even though we had a reservation. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time. Then we had to wait to be seated since they had filled the room by letting the walk-in customers go ahead of us. Once we were seated we didn't see or hear from a waiter for 15 minutes. My pasta was cold and dry, kind of crusted over and hard on top like it had been sitting out for a while. Other than that, I guess everything was okay. I'm never going back though.

Waitress didn’t write down our order and forgot one persons main course. By the time she figured it out it was too late as others were half way done with their meals. They offered a terrible apology and did nothing to try to remedy the damage done. Won’t go back, even though the food is good.

Good Italian in Memphis is hard to come by. Tamboli’s was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. The food was awesome and the service was just as much. Spicy vodka and lemon ricotta sauces were so good and the bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back :)

It was my first time dining at the restaurant and the food was delicious. They used fresh ingredients and it’s as close to Italian food I’ll have in Memphis. I will come back because I had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

What a lovely find. We were sat right away. Our server was great! Everything was fresh and delicious. Our only comment is on the wine service. They opened it at the bar instead of table side and the traditional taste.

Meatballs, Tuscan soup , and tomato vodka cream pasta were wonderful! We did not care for the pizzas (not done enough and toppings all grouped in center and truffle oil was very strong on the other choice), salads and salad dressings were ok. Very nice service and casual dining was comfortable and pleasant with local art and indoor patio lights. Bar looked like it would be nice spot to stop in for a drink and counter service meal. Will come again and try some other menu items to support this nice option in Midtown.

We wanted to try eating at the restaurant. We only have been there for pizza takeout which has always been good. However the pasta dishes are fantastic. Everything is homemade in the restaurant and they source locally. We are going back and will order some more good choices. Once you go you will always want to go back
