   The only very slight downside was that the music was quite loud. Other than that, the food was fantastic. I was greatly taken aback with how friendly the staff was, how lovely the food was and how wonderfully they treated my friend for her birthday

   We were 3 "mature" friends trying to catch up after 2 years. While the food and the service were both very good, this was not the place to try to talk. The music was loud when we arrived and just got louder as the evening wore on. The place was absolutely busy and full with young people - so they obviously like it here. It is very hard to talk without yelling. It was more of a club atmosphere than a dining atmosphere. We had the local burger, the fish and chips and the margherita pizza - all of which were very tasty. Our server was very attentive and was able to accommodate all our requests.

   We had a waiter called Josh who was extremely good at what he does. Bit noisy , with a party of women. Food good, although next time I will ask for my dressing on the side. Overall , excellent, will return again.

   The food was excellent. The server named Jordan was very nice and helpful. He was very attentive. My friends will definitely come back. As for me, this is my Go To place.

    I asked the server if they had gluten free pizza or burger buns. She said she’d ask. She came back and said no so I said ok and we ordered drinks. Then she came back to take our food orders. I asked again about burger buns because I know I’ve had a burger there in the past and she said no. So I said ok and ordered something else instead. I later found out from a different server that they do in fact have gf buns so I am frustrated that our server gave us the wrong information and wish that the menu was more clear about gluten free options the way they specify for vegan and vegetarian. Also the music was too loud for us to socialize with our own table. The server was friendly and the food was good but I wish that our server was more knowledgeable about the food she is serving.

    The place has a nice atmosphere, food came out fast, but had to frequently ask for water which I wasn't fond of. Food is good but honestly for the quality and the area of this place it is overpriced.

    I went there for Mother's day. They had nice touches such as a complimentary rose and photo. I ordered the avacado toast, the guacamole was bland. My mother ordered the steak and eggs which was really good.

    Team members seemed very disorganized and were not communicating at all with each other. When arriving we got sat at a table after requesting a booth, they mentioned booths are only for people with reservations although we had a reservation. We later asked the waiter who was great and moved us. The place looked amazing but unfortunately the music was so loud that unless you were sitting next to your company, you couldn’t hear what the person across the table was saying.

    There was a 10-15 minute wait even though we made a reservation. The food is really good, pleasant staff, not noisy, so we could have a normal conversation. A bit pricey.

    I have never given a bad review to any restaurant, but there is a first time for everything. It literally felt like as if the server wanted us to eat our food and get out of the restaurant. I couldn’t even enjoy with my friends. Overall, I would never recommend this place.

    First time at Taps and it was a fantastic date night. The place was vibrating with good energy, chatter and music. Service was prompt and attentive (thanks Emma!) Management was visible and engaged all guests. Bar is stocked well. Bartenders were non stop machines! Decor and booth setup is just Class! My only criticism would be that the pizza base was dry and tasteless. But we will definitely be back and look forward to trying everything else on the menu.

    Not pleased with the treatment at the restaurant. First they said I had no reservation, I booked it, called to ask if I could bring a cake and confirmed our reservation for 6 ppl. Then the staff wanted to take our order before the whole party arrived (everyone arrived within 10mins of our reservation), we ordered drinks then starters then dinner. As we were eating our starters, our main food was brought out!! There was no space on our table and I was left holding my dinner plate while the waitress cleared space for me to put it down!! From the moment we sat down we felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant. As soon as we paid our bill the waitress came back (still had drinks on our table) and told us we needed to leave!!! It was absolutely ridiculous and completely disrespectful. I will never book to eat here again! We were celebrating my friend’s birthday and it was a disaster.

    Our server was great. Very helpful and great personality. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Music could have been a little softer as we had to talk over it. But other than that. Excellent.

    Food was amazing! We had a reservation for 6:30 p.m but were told we would have to hurry up with our food and leave by 8:30 p.m as someone else wanted our table. Not the waitresses fault, poor management.

    Enjoyed my evening out, but we were told to vacate our table after 2hours of dining. We were enjoying our night and were disappointed that it came to a quick end. We would have moved to the bar but it was already crowded which meant we needed to leave. Everything else was great.

    Sat outside with no shelter from the blaring sun. Wanted fresh air, not sun stroke . Cocktails were on point. Calamari was a tad on the rubbery side but overall very tasty with the peppers. Also had bruschetta which was beautifully presented. Unfortunately a piece of bread was burnt. Score B-.
