I’ve dined at Taps a few times before and service has always been pretty good. However, the other night I showed up for my reservation and was told they were 6 reservations behind and that it would be a 15-20 minute wait. Long story short my party of 2 ended up waiting 40 minutes before being seated. I understand 15 minutes on a Friday night, but 40 minutes when you have a reservation is ridiculous. Granted, they did offer a glass of Prosecco 30 minutes in. They made sure to remind us multiple times that there is a 2 hour dining limit after not enforcing it with previous parties as their excuse for being behind was “some people tend to go over the limit.” Our server checked in on us but we had to ask for water to be refilled multiple times throughout our meal and someone else had to bring us cutlery because we were not given any before our food arrived. There was also a billing mistake on the server’s end for which she was not remorseful for and told us to etransfer each other (to account for her mistake). Although the food was still good, service was inconsiderate and disappointing.

I loved the food except for fish tacos. The salmon pizza calamari were amazing. Our server was soo kind so helpful and made the right reccomendations. He took care of us very well and made it right by removing the tacos off the bill. We will definitely go back.

Great spot! Huge selection of food; from wood oven pizza, to chicken sandwiches, to burgers, to pastas. Everything looked amazing. The cocktail menu is one of the best I've ever seen outside of downtown Toronto. Beautiful ambiance and friendly staff. You can tell the staff wants everyone to feel an upscale bar vibe, and they achieve this very well. Great place to come with friends or for a date night. Highly recommend!

First time attending, the vibes were great. The music was trendy, the food was phenomenal for a pub style restaurant. Highly recommend the prosciutto & Arugula pizza & the Barrata Cheese. Finally Meadowvale has a nice trendy spot for a night out with friends

Visited this restaurant for the 1st time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The greeter was pleasant and kind. Greeted us with a smile and seated us quickly. Our server was kind however service was slow. The wagu beef sliders and Calamari were the best. The beef and fish tacos lacked flavour and wouldn't order them again. The pepperoni pizza was okay it was very greasy and the mozzarella cheese was more orange, it wasn't authentic and wish we had ordered another dish. Our server was polite and bought out a slice of red velvet cake with a candle and we sang happy birthday to my daughter. Overall we enjoyed our time. Only wish we enjoyed all our dishes we ordered besides the Calamari and wagu sliders which were delicious and memorable. Cocktails were delicious, however the techno music played was loud and annoying. There was no variety of music and found it annoying.
