Well…. Had a reservation for 7:15. Arrived at 7:30 and let them know we were there- were finally seated at 7:4- 30 minutes later we had to flag down wait staff to find out who was supposed to wait on our table. Good came out Luke warm. My husband’s veal was so tough he couldn’t eat it. I had the Shrimp Gamboretti- it was barely warm. My husband had to get up twice to go to the bar to get wine bc wait staff never came w the bar order. There must be better places to eat in Starkville.

Fantastic food and service. I just wish they would invest in some acoustical panels. Thankfully everything else made up for the rude people next to us.

The service was phenomenal, everyone was amazing. The food was disgusting, the Alfredo had no flavor and the espresso brownie tasted like a Betty Crocker mix that had chocolate drizzle on it and no espresso in it.

We eat here about once a week and we live 30 miles away. There is really no bad dish. I'm a carnivore based dieter, and their filet is always excellent. The Fra Diavolo is an amazing pasta dish, and you can't go wrong with the classics of lasagna or spaghetti. My favorite app is the beef carpaccio!

My entire group of 7 had a wonderful time at Taste. The service, the food, the drinks, and the special care the Wate staff took helping us celebrate a dear friend's birthday was priceless!

We are locals that have eaten at Taste many times. This was the first time we ordered a steak. Both the ribeye and filet were excellent! Nice crust, well seasoned, cooked as requested. There pastas are hard to beat. Shrimp Gambretti or Frau Diavlo as my favorites

We love going to taste! We request to sit at the bar with our favorite bar tender, Parker and enjoy all the good Burbon the resturant has to offer! The pork chop was outstanding! We will be back!

Our first time here and we enjoyed it all. We were seated outside I would have preferred inside but we were not given an option when I made the reservation. I’ll request inside next time. 😊

We always love this restaurant. The food tastes amazing. The only negative is that the Eggplant Parmesan should have more than two slices of eggplant for $19! I have ordered this dish in other restaurants and always have 4 or 5 pieces of eggplant at least.

Really enjoyed the food and the service was good on a very busy night. The dining room was extremely loud however. Made a stop by the restroom on the way out and had to go through the bar area. It was much quieter near the bar than in the dining room. Overall enjoyed the visit but might request seating in the bar area next time.

the food and cocktails were fabulous. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience, which was really nice after a long day recruiting at MS State! The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable.

We had reservations and were sat in the bar instead of the main dining room. It was crowded and we were inches away from the people next to us. The room was noisy. My husband and son loved watching football during dinner. So no ambience at all. I had veal piccata. It was served in a bowl and swimming in broth, which made the veal soggy. My son said his lasagna was good. My husband had the prime rib, and loved it. Dessert was good. Service was prompt.
