Tasty Indian Bistro - Yaletown

Tandoori paneer was the outstanding dish. Ambiance was like a Cactus Club/Earl's environment ... a very modern Indian restaurant! You are definitely paying the extra dollars to eat in a trendy setting.

For several days, I looked forward to dining at Tasty Indian Bistro and I was not disappointed. The whole experience was excellent!

Popped in here for a quick little meal and ended up trying the Chicken Tikka with some rice, naan and raita (cumin spiced refreshing yogurt dipping sauce) and everything was delicious.
The bartender served me and was very knowledgeable and passionate about his drinks and the food pairings and took great care of me. It was the perfect level of service where you never have to ask for anything but are never disrupted either.
The flavour of the Chicken Tikka was the best I’ve had yet in my life! What really made it pop was the deliciously addictive coleslaw and sautéed peppers and onions it’s served with. I can’t say how much I enjoyed this place that is situated on the quite side of Yaletown. Can’t wait to come back and try their heated patio and some curries.

Great service, amazing food and lots of it!

Excellent food with lots of choices. You can order many dishes mild, medium or hot. The food is beautifully presented and served piping hot. We had the the lamb vindaloo which was super and the fish pakora was made with nothing but the best cod. Tasty mango curry chicken too. The service was also great,

No wait time, they had our table ready for us. The waitress was kind and attentive and gave us great recommendations! The noise level was nice, good authentic music playing, lighting was low and nice for a date or anniversary. We will visit again!

Out of all the restaurants in Yaletown, we've probably been here the most because the food is just that good! The food prices are very reasonable but we love and highly rate the lunch time specials. Our go to for Indian. Have to commend the staff who are always friendly and accommodating!

Food was delicious!

Fantastic experience the food was excellent. The hostess and the waitress was attentive and very helpful. Had some leftovers that we had the next day! Can’t wait to go back.

A good Indian restaurant, great service and reasonable pricing. Can't give it 5 stars because it lacked some finesse and maybe elegance on plate but overall would definitely go again

The food was so tasty, especially the halibut tandoori. The service was all very good. Too bad the front entry has been overrun by delivery and take out bags. Will be back again and again though.

Fairly new to Vancouver and 1st time visit. Heather was very kind and helpful as I wanted to change reservation time just a few hours before. Thank you for a great evening.

Interesting menu has something for everyone - whether you are experimenting with the different foods, or sharing platters - its great! The staff is always there to answer questions or to make sure the delicious chai tea is not gone!

Nice , so no pretty, atmosphere was amazing, chill area, really liked this one compared to the one in surrey!

Our server on the patio was amazing! She’s such a sweetheart and always going above and beyond for us.

Good food. Bad social distancing. The server was leaning over me way too close multiple times. And she actually took my phone out of my hand without asking me and scrolled down my screen to show me an appetizer she was recommending. Who does that even without a pandemic going on?? This place needs better staff training. That is NOT ok given the times we’re in.

Our server Jaz was fabulous, very attentive, continually filled our water glasses, and very friendly. The food was excellent, I really enjoyed the lamb saag and chicken curry and the naan were hot and fresh! We really enjoyed sitting on the patio on a beautiful summer evening, and will definitely return in the near future!

The food tasted good and fresh, however the tandoori chicken and the chicken Biryani, were not authentic Indian taste. and it was far from similar taste.

I have been to this restaurant few times and their service is always exceptional and delicious foods , staff are very polite and put their best for their customer.

Delicious food! Great vegetarian options too. Great service! Loved the ambiance! Would recommend and will be going back for sure.

The food was great as always, however I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant didn’t practice social distancing. We were seated on the patio and for the first 15 mins no one sat next to us by after that a group of 6 were seated right next to us. The other group was so close I could touch them if I reached my hand out.

Happy hour is great value. Food was delicious but I felt a bit unwell after. Service was good but not great. Would return to try different entrees but with realistic expectations of the overall service and food.

Dish sizes were too small compared to surrey tasty
