   How did I not know about this gem! They opened last July, so we have been missing out. Our server, a rock star, Jules, greeted us and took our water order and gave us the drink specials. She mentioned a rhubarb cider, which sounded delicious, but I had already decided on my drink, purple rain, with Empress gin and my husband ordered an IPA. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, we weren’t given chips and salsa, but popcorn with a Tajin sprinkle. There were many choices to order as appetizers, and we settled on Sikil P’aak ($12) , a Mayan dip made with toasted pepitas, roasted tomatoes, onions, chilis, cotija cheese, scallions and lemon, reminiscent of hummus, but much more flavorful. It was served with homemade tortilla chips. There was just enough spice and I loved it and that there was enough to bring some home. My husband had the fish tacos (3@ 18) fresh herb crusted fish, guac, pickled red onion, roasted poblanos,with cilantro vinaigrette. He ate them all and said they were perfect. I ordered Cauliflower Panuchos, (2@ 21) puffed tortillas, filled with creamy, black beans and topped with crispy cauliflower, currants, toasted pepitas, parsley, and warm lemon vinaigrette. They had so much topping that I had to eat some of it before I could fold them in half and pick them up to eat them. They were unique in flavors and amazing. We would both order the same thing again, even though the menu has so many interesting dishes. My husband also ordered dessert,Mexican chocolate bread pudding.I had one bite and it was not too sweet, texturally competent, and I wanted more. I need to mention that it was hard to choose a dessert because they also had homemade coconut cake and churro waffles. Everything about this restaurant was refreshing. Many employees, including the owner, checked on our table, bussed items, wrapped food, and genuinely seemed interested in helping one another. We were checked on regularly, and I never felt like anyone forgot we were there. Five stars to all.

   From the moment we were seated, we knew we were in for a treat. Service was outstanding, vegetarian dish w/ cauliflower was super delicious, margaritas were perfect. . .portions were generous. Will definitely return!

   Tatu is an amazing dining experience. The atmosphere is artistic, the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is incredible and the cocktails are outstanding. This has become my families favorite restaurant.

   Have been meaning to try this place for awhile, so glad we finally made time. Drinks were strong and flavorful, popcorn with tajín was a lovely, non-filling interim. We shared a few plates (esquites, papas fritas, and tacos arabes) which were all amazing. I’ve never had homemade tortilla chips so thin. Happily surprised that there was dessert available as well and it was also fantastic. Will definitely be back soon with friends to try other items on the menu.

    Decent food with an interesting concept (Lebanese fused with Mexican). Lot's of variety on the menu, but hard to truly understand what you're ordering versus what you actually get. They also have no straws (not even paper) and no sour cream (???). It's hard to imagine a taco place with no sour cream, but yes, that is the case here and I can say it was sorely missed. Coffees were also brought out with no cream/sugar. I left feeling like for such a unique menu and feeling place, everything was kind of plain and basic and you did not get much for your money. I wouldn't be opposed to returning but I would not go out of my way to go back again.

    Overall, we had a fantastic evening. This was our first visit. The selection of margaritas is fantastic. The service was excellent and the food was good. I do think the food is a bit overpriced for what you get but it was tasty.

    The drinks were phenomenal! The food was very good, I liked the fusion mix quite a bit! Our server was very sweet, attentive and knowledgeable. And the music…that alone was enough to bring back over and over again!!! Loved the 90’s hip hop, such a throwback ❤️all around had a great time!!

    This is my second time dining at Tatu. The first time was PHENOMENAL. The food and drinks were delicious and service was amazing. This time was a bit disappointing. The food took a long time to come out. And the taste seemed different than last time. The corn dip we got as an appetizer was good but the portion was SO small. Not very shareable. I ordered the octopus tacos and they were SO spicy, there was no symbol on the menu to communicate this dish would be spicy. The cinnamon rice & beans had way too much cinnamon; that was all you could taste. Which was confusing because I ordered a dish with cinnamon rice last time and I remember it tasting great. Maybe there’s a new chef? Or, just an off day?

    We first went to TT&T when they were up in Saratoga. While we were sad when they closed, we were thrilled to learn they were reopening actually closer to where we live. We have been there several times since they opened with various friends and every time everyone has loved their meal, and the vibe of place itself. The margaritas are outstanding, as are the appetizers, the entrées and especially dessert. The staff has always been welcoming, fun and happy to engage in conversation. It is definitely one of our go to places and look forward to our next visit!

    Great vibe! Really great cocktails. Food is ok… not very fresh or bright, and quiet expensive for what you get. We’ve had more pricey plates at other restaurants where it feels like you’re getting quality over quantity, but this felt overpriced overall. Would definitely go back for drinks and appetizers

    The food and service was fantastic. We brought our 9 year old daughter and everyone was friendly and welcoming (she is a well behaved kid). Drinks were delicious and well balanced. We will definitely be returning.

    I loved it from the moment I walked in. Parking can be a little tricky in this area of Congress so allow time for that. The staff, especially our hostess/server, warms you right up. The cocktails were imaginative and the kind you can drink a ton of, but you end up savoring it instead. Nice selection of tequila too! The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about the food, the space and it immediately sets you at ease. You sink right in!!! The menu is not huge but there is nothing to long for. Lebanese inspired Mexican charged infusions! It's divine and inspiring. The chips for the dips are probably the most insatiable chip I've ever had. No grease, no leftover taste in your mouth, just clean and crisp and dry and enough to fill up on. Everything is ala cart for the most part. I had the Pulpo which is creative and succulent. It's octopus in a taco and I have never entertained this concoction. I was so full but I crammed the entire three tacos down my face. They are priced right and are high end, chill, innovative and this is my new hang out so I hope they learn my name. The decor was done with warmth and is perfect for all ages to feel "cool." Cannot wait to go back. A must!!!!

    We went with friends and we all had fantastic meals. The food was delicious. Two of us had the Barria tacos. Omg amazing. Definitely would order those again. Another had the chicken tacos and the carnitas, also great. We started with the ceviche (Compachane) and the homemade chips. Outstanding. The Pol’Kanes was delicious as well. At first we were thrown by the cinnamon rice but don’t be-it’s not sweet at all and it was a perfect compliment to the spicy. Some reviews mentioned the popcorn was odd but we loved that too and the seasoning is authentic to Yucatán. We had margaritas which were spot on and tried some of the tequilas. The service was super friendly and attentive. They were not slow and the pace was just perfect. I would highly recommend Tatu and we will be back for sure!!

    This was our second time at Tatu and again, we loved it. We love Mexican food but good Mexican food is hard to find around here ever since Ama Covina closed. But Tatu is our new go to. Every dish we got was so on point. Flavorful, presentable. So so good. 100% recommend.

    Food is different and very flavorful. Drinks are fun and several craft cocktails are on menu. I had the fish, which is only available on weekends, and found it to be well cooked, fill interesting spices and presention. The chairs aren't very comfortable-one needs to squeeze inbetween the arms, and I can see these not accomodating anyone who is not of medium weight. Didn't see the need for oversalted, bagged popcorn delivered to each table-didn't seem to go with the theme. How about the tortilla type chips, served with the hors d'oeuvres? Though brand new, no sign of the owners-just would have been a nice touch to see or meet them. I do recommend coming to try the great food. It's a little hard to find, and sign on door is up a ramp and small.

    The food was phenomenal. Our compliments to the kitchen. Service was a tad bit slow between courses but it was a busy Friday night and we had a seven person party. Waiter did not check in on us or how our main courses were but overall very personable and attentive. We will definitely be back!!
